    Gated 6-speed Gallardo

In late 2022, I bought a 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo from Response Motors. I've purchased exotics from other independent dealers but this was my first time working with ResMo and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. Unlike other independent dealerships, ResMo has an eclectic selection of rare vehicles. Case in point, my Gallardo SE was 1 of only 3 "gated" 6 speed manuals for sale in the US at the time. The ResMo staff are also car enthusiasts who are friendly, knowledgeable and yes, responsive. I worked with Yanni in Sales. Via text, phone & email, Yanni kept me current through the whole buying process. He even came in on Sundays (his usual day off) to meet me at the dealership. Alex, the Sales Manager is an industry veteran and has a wealth of knowledge. Fast forward to July '23 after a weekend of spirited driving the clutch went out (at least that's what I thought). ResMo also offers Service but I was hesitant as these are specialty vehicles. With a Lamborghini in the Bay Area your options are limited to paying a hefty premium through a dealer or waiting, in some cases months, for an independent Lamborghini mechanic to get you in. If you have stable of sports cars that may be okay but I keep just one exotic at a time & didn't want to wait. I had the car shipped to ResMo and after inspection the diagnosis was the clutch itself was fine. There was air in the hydraulic fluid which they swapped out & test drove a few times and that solved the problem. While they had my car in their possession, Melissa, Service Manager, kept me well informed using a innovative software platform that sends you text & email updates as well as the ability to authorize & pay for services from your phone or computer. At no charge the ResMo service team did a thorough inspection of everything else to make sure all is in good working order, including topping off fluids, checking tire pressure, etc. I'd braced myself for what I thought would be a large bill and was pleasantly surprised that it was a small fraction of that. Phew! Yesterday, when I went to pick up the car, it was so clean that it looked brand new! Someone had given it a thorough bath and minor detailing? --also "no charge" But before taking my car home I went to the shop in the back of the building to thank Nick, their lead mechanic. There I found Graham, the owner and all around great guy, working on a pet project GT3 - see story here: https://responsemotors.com/a-ruby-star-is-reborn/ Nick received a firm handshake and a 12 pack of Kona Beer for his excellent work! ResMo has made an outstanding first impression. They will continue to service my Gallardo and I'm confident my next purchase will be through ResMo. Yanni is already searching for my dream F355!

the 2005 Porsche carrera S cab for sale was purchased for $37,250 and they are trying to sell it for 45,997. They have failed to repair the interior defects and want to sell it as is.

I purchased a 996TT from Response Motors (Graham) over a year ago and this company is top notch. There was absolutely no pressure and closing out the deal (and all the paperwork) was easy and quick. Prices are also fair. I've since brought the car in for maintenance and upgrades. The Response Motors Service team (Melissa and Nick) installed an aftermarket wing (with paint match), a couple of go fast goodies and everything is working as expected and looks great. They kept me in the loop throughout the upgrade process/maintenance. Thanks RESMO!

Yanni and Alex are the best! Got me into a 997 Manual with no headaches an a very straightforward purchase and inspection experience. Nick is also awesome on the repair side and I would trust him with any car regardless of make or vintage!

I found the dream car I didn't even know existed - Cayman R in dark blue with a 6-speed! Graham and company run a top-notch business. Everything in their showroom is amazing. Had the best first drive ever going back down Hwy 1 to San Diego after picking up the car!

Purchased a 2005 997.1 S from Graham back in August. Best decision I made in 2019. The car only had ~60k on the clock and was immaculate inside and out. Graham took the time really check over the car and his engineering expertise allows you to really purchase with confidence that the cars he sells don't have frame damage or other sub-system component damage and are ready to go. He won't sell you something he wouldn't drive himself and the quality of the vehicles he offers shows that. He assisted with a few maintenance items as well on the 911 about 6 months post-purchase and I'm very pleased with the quality of the work and the effort they spent chasing a couple little things that were difficult to track down. His mechanic, detailer, and the rest of his staff are fantastic. These guys love what they do and just speaking with Graham for a few minutes you know he's a serious gear head who knows his stuff. This is the guy you want to work with if you're in the search for a well sorted Porsche (or other sports car, as he frequently has some non-P-cars in stock).

They seem…read morefairly new but they provide great service and I believe an introductory offer for a full diagnosis of your vehicle when you take it in. The process was pretty quick and the shop was very responsive and even though I did not elect to get additional work done, (I can do a lot of the regular maintenance stuff myself, really just wanted the diagnostic) I appreciated the constant updates on the work getting done, making it a very "stress-free" experience. Overall worth a visit as a first time customer and I'll be back for regular oil changes.

I have to say I have mixed experiences with my brake pad/rotor services... I went back to the shop 3 times over the course of ~9 months, each time discovering some issues and replacing the pad/disk (this is where i felt good about the shop, everyone welcomed me back and did the diagnose and replacement for free). I end up relacing the two front pad/disk with another brand (zimmerman? that's what i heard) and resolved all issues. Maybe I just got unlucky, but I have to leave my honest and true experience which exhausts me over the last year (imagine every time you back out of your garage and hearing this "click" sound from your brake system, with a baby in a car. You natually worries about your safety).
