Wow Erik and Ryan always do amazing work on my car and my dads and they're always a joy to talk to about cars. They're super knowledgeable regarding cars and every time I experience a problem they tell me to come in no problem or even try and figure it out if I'm in a rush over text or call. The work they do never ceases to fail me and they even suggest alternative routes I wouldn't think of for such simple problems that could save me money in the long run. They truly value their customers and offer well reasoned pricing for the superb work they do. Really a joy to get work done by both Erik and Ryan. read more

Sportech - my car - Auto Repair Near Me - Campbell, California

My porsche had an issue that my regular guy was not able to fix, and I ended up coming here. These folks were not able to fix it either, and I am doing what I loathe doing...taking it to the dealer. Why 5 star you might ask...because they were super professional, communicative and friendly and did not charge for the diagnostic. read more

I had a great experience with Sportech. They were incredibly quick to respond and made the whole process seamless from start to finish. You can tell they're true Porsche enthusiasts, which gave me a lot of confidence trusting them with maintenance on my wife's Cayenne. The service was fast, thorough, and done right the first time. Pricing was fair, especially for the level of expertise and care they provide. It's not always easy to find a shop that combines responsiveness, quality work, and honesty, but Sportech does exactly that. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable place to service your Porsche. read more

Ryan and his partner replaced the brake pads and rotors on my Porsche Cayenne and also repaired a coolant leak. Both jobs were completed professionally and to a high standard. read more

Ryan and Eric did a fantastic job. I went for an oil change and before going, I had inquired about price. Ryan gave detailed breakdown and charged exactly what he had told me. They seemed experienced. I had asked to check a noise in the car and Ryan drove the car to figure it out and came back with a recommendation. I am looking forward to the estimate. read more

Porsche 911 S needed some TLC and I was in need of a new mechanic - glad to find Sportech, Eric did a great job explaining everything, was very helpful and did a great job with my tune-up. Will use again. read more

Mark, Ryan & Eric at Sportech have serviced our '88 911 for its entire life (yes, Ken before Mark took over). They have been simply wonderful over not over the years, but decades! Always very fairly priced and honest, we wouldn't take our beloved Porsche anywhere else. When others will try to pad service tags and suggest unnecessary work, Sportech has always been honest and straightforward. And whenever we have a schedule challenge, they will do their best to drop off our baby for us. My only fear is that they get priced out of the crazy Bay Area market! I really, really hope his sons continue with the business once Mark decides to hang up the torque wrenches and spend more time enjoying life! read more

Ryan and the Sportech staff were extremely communicative and went the extra mile to help me solve a tricky suspension problem. One that the dealer just wanted to throw part replacements at. Happy to have found them and I expect them to be my first option going forward for my fleet! read more

I have taken my Porsche in for routine maintenance three times at Sportech and each time has been a great experience. They have taken great care of my car each visit. Services are performed promptly and I'm in and out very quickly. Ryan and Erik are very friendly and knowledgeable. Always open to chatting about cars or answering questions. Sportech - Porsche Boxster Spyder in for an oil change - Auto Repair Near Me - Campbell, California

3rd time customer; worked with Erik on my 12 year old 997.2 on some due maintenance (PDK service). Appreciative of Erik's astute knowledge of my vehicle and recommendations. Erik walked thru in detail what the service entailed as well as recommendations. This particular vehicle is something I drive once a week. After the service with his particular recommendations, the vehicle feels just amazing - buttery smooth shifts!!! If your car is near that service interval, I recommend you get this done. Makes the driving experience loads better!!! Erik noticed a few other things that my car needed that were annoying to me but I haven't gotten around to. Looking forward to getting those tidied via Sportech as well as getting my 958.2 serviced by them too. When they serviced my 997.2 last time around (fuel pump), I appreciated that they are plugged into all the items that VAG covers as part of recalls or extended warranties due to known issues etc. Tons of knowledge at this shop and proper alignment with the manufacturer to ensure my car is running tip top. If you're looking for an honest, enthusiast, shop with incredible value who knows their stuff, look no further! Thanks Erik and team for taking care of my beast. read more

Took my Cayman there for 40k service. Actually it's the first time to take my car to Indy shop, therefore I was a little bit uncertain and worried. But Ryan delivered such a professional service from the beginning to the end. He detailed all the jobs/parts/processes and came with a reasonable quote. A month after the service, I noticed some squealing sounds from the brakes, so I took it to Ryan again. After the inspection, he told me the thickness of the brake pads are still ok and I can probably wait for another 4-5 months for the brake jobs. I really appreciate the integrity and would definitely recommend their shop. read more

Spoke with Ryan and booked a transmission mount (huge source of vibration) for a Porsche 911, their labor rates are reasonable, nice guy, great location nearby. I run a shop as well, and I'm happy to refer my customers with more technical jobs towards this shop read more

Terrific, honest, best person for anything Porsche, thats what you finally need. I will not look else where hereafter

Wow, emotional distress? Asking full refund? This is in response to Mr Ryan, now you're making stuff up just to save face from a bad review. I have not interacted with this owner whatsoever. All I wanted was to be fairly compensated instead I get negotiations for refund of additional 400 on top of the 200 credit they gave me. It still doesn't compensate the 1000.00 markup of labor they charged me on oil and filter alone, not included are the parts? Now owner is upset because Bureau of Auto Repair (BAR) is investing this matter. This complaint was made so that other customers don't get victimized by this shop. To future customers, please ask how much services before having them work on your car. read more

Sportech - Receipt of Services charged! - Auto Repair Near Me - Campbell, California

Although we have a regular Porsche mechanic for the cars we sell, recently we needed to have a car serviced out in the Campbell area. This Porsche supposedly had new crankshaft bearings installed but the vehicle still did not run correctly. Mark and his crew quickly identified that the bearings were of low quality as he was very experienced on the matter. They located the proper bearings and repaired it in a short time. To this we are very grateful as the vehicle was pretty much already sold and the customer was getting impaitient. Thank you Mark for the excellent service. read more

I put out a Yelp request for a major service on my 2018 Panamera (the first service I've had done since I bought the car two years ago). Sportech responded quickly and clearly, breaking down the recommended work into sections and listing the cost of each item. I spoke with Ryan on the phone to set up the appointment and dropped my car off a few days later. Asked if she could be ready by 3:30, they made it happen. Car has been running beautifully since, and all my service notifications have disappeared. They even refilled my washer fluid. From start to finish, a wonderful experience. I will be taking her back to Sportech in a year for my oil change, and three years later for the next service. Highly recommend this crew. Thanks, Ryan! read more

Ryan and the team at Sportech are friendly and very responsive. They were also willing to accommodate weird requests like ordering me a brake pad sensor through their supplier. I was there getting a windshield replaced and they just added it to their regular afternoon parts delivery on request. I DIY for the most part, but would not have any compunctions about having my car serviced here if needed. Solid and professional team (and the windshield guy they use is good too.) read more

Just got an oil change done for my Porsche Cayman S 981. Great service, fast, super friendly, and competitively priced. I'll be back!

Astonished how informative and helpful Ryan was with my first visit. Had the opportunity to talk to an existing customer Kurt, he's been servicing with them for 20+years. My impression is that I can come back with no hesitation and have full trust with my Porsche. Thank you for giving me peace of mind for something I'm so unfamiliar with. read more

I recently had Ryan install KW V3 coilovers on my 996 turbo. Additionally I replaces the majority of rear control arm components.. Ryan offered to give me a discount but I did not take him up on it because the job took more time than estimated.. I appreciated that he text messaged me along the way.. I plan to uses Sportech again for future work that will be needed.. Thank you again.. Great Job!!! read more

Sportech - Auto Repair Near Me - Campbell, California

quality shop. excellent and knowledgeable staff. They work hard to find long-lost parts.

I was looking for a shop that specializes in Porsches, and works on older models like my 944. These guys were actually recommended to me by another highly-regarded local Porsche shop (the shop that recommended them doesn't work on 944s themselves). I like that I can always trust them to take care of what my car needs, without adding on any unnecessary services or other upsells. They do good quality work, take good care of my car, and (especially for a Porsche shop in the Bay Area) I feel like their rates are extremely reasonable, too. read more

My 997 C4S was due for routine maintenance. I decided on Sportech after weeks of researching. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They brought to my attention other services that were recommended, but never pushed the sale of anything extra. They are honest and straightforward and I will be bringing my 964 and 993 in for service here too. read more

After looking around for someone to replace my clutch I was referred to Sportech from a Porche forum. Reached out got a quote quickly and made the appointment. Unfortunately I also needed a flywheel and that part was back ordered 1-2 months. They were very understanding and luckily it came in within 1 months time. A week later they got me back on the road. I had a concern about the repair and they promptly got me in asap. Test drove the car and reassured me it was fine and if anything else pops up to let them know. read more

Avoid, the owner is rude. They test drive my car for 20 miles! Overcharged me for the service,

My car made a whistling sound when accelerating. I pinged Sportech and got an immediate response, took the car in the next day, and by the following day it was diagnosed and fixed for a very reasonable fee. Great experience all around. read more

Came to Sportech for a PPI on a 987.1 Cayman. They were extremely knowledgeable on the possible issues to look for on the platform (IMS etc) and made sure I knew what they were doing the entire time. They brought me under the car while they were doing the inspection and pointed out all the defects that they found. Would highly recommend! I ended up buying the car. -Ronald McDonald 987 read more

Brought my 996 911 in for an IMS bearing replacement and possible clutch replacement. Quick turnaround, daily communication, and even daily progress photos. My clutch didn't end up needing replacement; Instead they refreshed the pivot components - really appreciated the transparency. I also had installed an aftermarket exhaust prior to bringing my car in, and noticed that I was missing a few bolts. I didn't care to mention anything when I brought the car in as I had intended on just buying the bolts and installing it myself. The owner Ryan, noticed it himself and went ahead and fixed it without ask. Overall, truly an above and beyond experience. Looks like I'll be a regular here moving forward. read more

Initially went to Ryan to get my a new clutch slave/accumulator and spark plugs serviced for my 997 after a PPI done at the dealer stated my clutch slave was leaking. Ryan found zero issues it--no leaks were found. Had the spark plugs replaced and got a new starter as well, no need to touch the clutch system. Responses were always quick, service and experience was great. Thanks again to Ryan and staff, i'll be back in the future! read more

If you have a Porsche or BMW, you need to give Sportech a call. Mark, Ryan, and the others at Sportech are top-notch mechanics and individuals. Not only will the repair/diagnosis they perform on your car be of great quality, their prices are fair and their communication is excellent. I brought my Boxster here over the course of three years of ownership. Whenever I had an issue, they helped me and often went above and beyond what they had to do. Whenever I had a question - even if I was going to DIY something, they would answer with great detail. Whenever I messed something up DIYing it (happened more than I care to admit) they were there to help me fix my problems without judgment. Unfortunately, I sold the Boxster so I do not know when I will be back at Sportech (unless they would be willing to work on my Miata...) but I will sorely miss my interactions with everyone here. A+ mechanics, A+ people. Thank you for everything. read more

Called Sportech this past Weds to book an appointment for this Friday at 9 am. based on their excellent reviews. I had a good discussion over the phone on the issues I wanted Sportech to service on my Porsche Cayenne. This Friday morning I arrived at Sportech at 8:50 am and waited until 9:15 am, but no one showed up and the shop was closed. Left a message for them before my departure. I assume Sportech had an emergency to handle this morning, thus the missed appointment. Ironically, the other auto repair shops next door were open for business and busy. read more

I have taken my car here for the past 2 years and can't recommend them enough. Ryan and his team are a pleasure to work with: honest, knowledgeable and never pushy with what needs to be done. We chose Sportech on the recommendation from two cousins, Jeff and Richard, who own Porsches and have been going to Sportech for years. Earlier this year, we purchased a pre-owned 2010 Cayenne and took it to Sportech because of a check engine light and an oil change. Ryan quickly diagnosed the check engine issue as a faulty temperature sensor. They changed the oil and we made arrangements to drop off the car a couple days later. We dropped of the car in the morning and it was supposed to ready the next day but they called when it was ready that afternoon. They even stayed a few minutes because we were running late. Ryan and Erik have such a passion of Porsches that I could pick their brains all day but I felt guilty because they have a job to do. The best part is I can text Ryan with any question about Porsches and he replies with professionalism and knowledge. I will for sure being using Sportech going forward. read more

Ryan is the best, get all your Porsche service done here without thinking. Their price is also pretty competitive.
