The staff assured me that a light power wash with a steam clean would not affect any internal engine components --and they were correct. Recommend Holy Moly highly, a near-religious experience. LOVE I've had my car detailed here twice. It really is shiny. Service is good. MEH I've asked for wax twice. The first time, water didn't bead up at all, so I could tell it wasn't real wax. Also, the price wasn't enough to be wax. The second time, I made a point of asking for real, hand-rubbed paste wax. I paid twice as much. Water beads up somewhat, but not as much as I expect. I found my detail spot. I had been wanting...no needing a proper detail for my beloved '24 MINI Cooper S. There are a small handful on the Peninsula. I found Holy Moly That's Shiny through Yelp. I called, got a decent quote and made the appointment. The place was a little hard to find. It is behind an auto repair shop. I rolled and they immediately went to work. A tip of the cap to them for having an air-conditioned office and WiFi. I got a little work done. The good folks a HMTS are awesome. My MINI looked like it did when I picked it up when I first bought it. My goodness it looked good. The tech (I forgot his name) also gave me some good advice on protectant for the door panels and dashboard. Anyway, my goal is to have my car detailed every 3 months or so during the sunny months. I'll be honest I picked this place because of the name and of course all the positive reviews. My car has been through some things and hasn't been cleaned for years but I couldn't take it anymore and decided to get an exterior and interior detailing. There were layers of dog hair in the car and I eat in my car too so there was a multitude of crumbs and other questionable items on my car including a birthday candle that had baked itself into my cup holder. When I got my car back it looked fresh from the dealership. I was amazed by how clean out was . Truly worth every penny ($600). Wow, they did an amazing job. I expected just a quick wash and vacuum, but I got so much more! My car was really dirty (it had just been through a 1000 miles of road trip). It came out spotless! On the inside they even got rid of sunscreen stains that I thought would be there forever. They ended up taking a bit of extra time but they did communicate this and i understand why. I'll be back! Stephen did a great job buffing out the scratches on my Tesla and was very thorough. He explained that for the scratches that couldn't be buffed out, applying touch up paint on very superficial scratches would look blotchy cause there wouldn't be a deep enough surface for the paint to settle in. I found this gem to fix swirl marks left by my last PPF guy. Brought my car in without much expectation, but George and Yvonne (hope I got their names right), owners of this shop, removed the swirls within 5 minutes and like new! I recently bought a 2021 Ford Explorer from a friend. It was in good shape, but not too clean, and had the swirls from occasional automatic car washes. There was also a lot of dog hair from a Golden Retriever, and a bit of dirt on the floor pads. I wanted to get it detailed properly so I can maintain it at home. Jorge walked me through what he would do in a full detail job and I was really impressed. Yvonne got me set up with an appointment for the next week. Sunnyvale is a bit of a slog through early morning traffic, but it was well worth it. The car is immaculate! Other than a tiny paint chip that was on the hood, the car looks better than most new cars I have seen at dealerships. The leather seats are newly conditioned, and even the engine looks new! Okay WOW!! I brought my car in covered in FIREWORK DEBRIS all thanks to my disrespectful ass neighbors. It was so bad to the point where I was sure that the paint on my car had no chance of coming back to life. My appointment was pushed back 30 minutes because they were backed up but Yvonne was so professional and kind enough to let me know in advance.
