The phlebotomist was a Russian Italian gentleman. Note: I had recently given blood at Red Cross. They bruised my left arm and had trouble finding a vein. Then had trouble with right arm too. Labcorp, one small pinch, blood drawn and it was done. Best experience!!! Worth the drive (22 minutes) from Laguna Niguel. Excellent experience!!

What wasn't understandable was waiting over 2 1/2 hours without a single standby patient being called. Throughout that time, they took scheduled appointments (as they should), but they also took patients who arrived early for later appointments while every standby patient continued to wait. The posted sign says "Walk-ins Welcome" with a wait expected, but it appears this location doesn't meaningfully accommodate walk-ins at all. We asked the staff multiple times whether they would be taking standby patients, and each time we were told, "Yes." Yet after more than 2 1/2 hours, not a single standby patient had been seen. To make matters worse, I was fasting for my blood work and ultimately had to leave without getting my labs done. I wasted an entire morning for nothing and now have to find another location to complete the testing. This was an extremely frustrating experience, and I will not be returning to this Quest location. If you're planning to come as a walk-in, I would strongly recommend making an appointment elsewhere instead

She got the poke on the first try and even though we needed to get several vials, she stayed patient and calm the entire time. This was my first visit to Quest Diagnostics in a long time. I had been going to a different lab company for the last several years since they had some long term employees that could get my veins. I was honestly a bit nervous to go to Quest and encounter someone who hadn't worked with me before. Check-ins are done at the kiosk. It's easy to do and was literally just one to two minutes at most. I had an appointment for 1:00 pm and was called back less than five minutes later. Unfortunately for me, only one of my Dr's lab orders went through their system, so I had to get bumped out of my appointment. I called the MD office for them to re-send the orders and ended up being a "walk-in" but since they weren't super busy, I was called back again after ten minutes. The phlebotomist who worked with me was, Gervon? I hope I got that right. I meant to write his name down but got side tracked. Anyway, he was great. He was progressional, and easily without hesitation, able to find a vein on me. The poke was painless. It was so fast. Gervon, filled several vials and was done before I even realized he was switching them out. I will definitely be asking for him during future visits. I was very happy from start to finish. Thank you for the pain free lab draw, Gervon. I really appreciate you.

He was patient with her while she got comfortable and the process was much better than our prior experience at Quest. That was April. We're now in October and our pediatrician never received the results from the lab. I've followed up on multiple occasions and finally got a response in September. He said he would follow up with the lab. I've followed up twice since then with no response. That is unacceptable. We're trusting you with our child's blood and to never receive the results... unbelievable. Now we have to try and have her blood drawn again, when we shouldn't have to put her through that.

I appreciated the Saturday morning hours. Not sure if they still charge for parking, but the gates were open with no attendants during my visit. Tons of parking. No people in the front desk, checking in on the iPad was a breeze. But felt bad for the older people that were not as tech savvy, had to help a few navigate.
