I really appreciate the efficient service and had reviewed with a 5-star and great feedback on Yelp. However, I have kept receiving emails from the shop bombarding my working (and personal) inboxes asking for more feedback and review on other networks/apps, such as Google reviews the last two months. At some points, this is very annoying as sometimes we need to know the balance point and when enough means enough. What do you keep asking for after receiving an excellent feedback, very nice words that truly reflect the quality here, and five stars? After the first few weeks keeping receiving the emails, I thought it was just a mistake and replied to the shop owner clarifying that I did submit a very nice review. I then received a response saying that I have not reviewed on Google. This is not appreciated and I am sorry that I have to say this. read more

I've gone to this place for over 6 years. The first few years I went as a grad student who needed odd jobs done (pdf files created of documents I needed scanned, the random print job, binding of notes I had made during the semester, color prints for pictures I wanted framed on my wall, etc). The past few I've had them create readers for me when teaching. Their prices are always amazing, their work meticulously done and anytime I've asked for something by a certain date, they've had it ready on time. But more importantly, they'll go that extra step for when you're in crisis mode. I can't tell you how many times I've come in and asked for something to be expedited or had a special request on an order and they've gone out of their way to make it work. These are good people, and their work is very professionally done. And honestly, while quality and reliability are more important to me, I haven't found a place with better prices either. read more

There are really professional, experienced people working here, but now I'm not totally assured that one of them will be the one helping me when I go in.... which means that despite past positive experiences (see previous review) I am more wary of using this business. The last time I was in, I had a more complicated print job that I wanted to consult with someone about, and the person just kept directing me to the 'self-print' stations without really listening to what I had to say about paper weight or size. I asked him about a specific type of paper, and he clearly didn't know what I was talking about. It was really awkward, and he got impatient with me. I got the impression he might have been new, but nonetheless, he didn't make any effort to be helpful or to ask someone who would know the answers to my questions. Eventually a more experienced printer swooped in a took over, and from there on everything was fine, but that experience really put me off. I don't think I will use this print shop unless I see an experienced printer that I recognize working in the front. read more

The best copy place ever...awesome readers, neat, legible and readers you can READ!...i have some readers from some other copy shops and i can barely read anything..toner marks, super dark..horrible! Replica copy..damn good location...close to the univ..and a free copy if u're printing just 1 page!!! and they dont even charge for the computer time if you're just printing...i go there for all my assignments. They are extremely price competitive (we switched over to them because our previous printer company was considerably more expensive). We usually print about ten lab books every year, running anywhere from 50 to 250 pages. Each printing consists of between 40 to 200 lab books. Replica Digital Ink is very fast with e-mail replies and I received my first quote from them in less than 30 minutes! Communication between the shop was good as when I kept sending/changing my order, they asked for clarification and were aware of the changes I was making. It must have been stressful for them as I kept making small changes here and there, but I am so glad they were able to hear me out and be very patient with me. Prints are great and I am so glad they were able to mount my posters because mounting is SO stressful. Gave them 5 stars 2 years ago. Would give them 6 stars if possible. Super friendly, helpful, and decent. The recent two times that I've come to print one or two pages they haven't charged me anything! I referred my friend here and he also had the same treatment. If I have a big printing job I'm definitely going to bring it here. I have since also tried printing places in west berkeley and this is still the best place among all places in berkeley. I also really appreciate the fact that they still let you print small jobs even though they obviously don't make money from it. This is the only place that I know that charges for computer printing at a low price and no sitting fee! I actually don't know how much it costs to print out a page but I know that it's really really cheap. Computers don't crash ( ahem, copy central). This is the place to go if your printer dies last minute. I needed to print out one page and I had my money ready to pay but the guy gave it to me for free. If you need any art (read: you're a weeb that sells fanart at anime conventions, like me) or design work (when I was at Cal studying architecture and needed a nice large print of my work, I came here) printed, this is your place. Super fast and very accommodating, this has been the best print shop I've ever been to. You can upload your files online and pick them up next day, and I've definitely had some pretty big order sizes sometimes.... They offer a ton of different paper types/weights/textures though, which you can't pick out online, but it is worthwhile to stop by instore and consult with them. I've since moved and I've tried to find others that could compare in SF... but alas, none of them even compare. Thank you to the dudes there that will run my jobs last minute or reprint stuff because I needed to adjust colors, or will patiently explain to me how bleed works (I am now a better person for it).
