Please avoid selling here if your item is New/ Mint . you will get MUCH MUCH more money selling on Amazon or ebay even after paying the fees (Read my review for details) I am writing my experience solely on Selling. ( I cannot comment on Buying or Repairs offered by this place) I had a few items i had to sell an 8gb Ipod Nano 5th gen in Mint condition with original box and everything, an unlocked Blackberry Bold 9700 with all the original accessories and packing and a late 2008 Unibody Macbook 13" in great condition working smoothly ( just normal wear on the case) I entered the store and when my turn came the Guy greeted me, i told him i had stuff to sell and showed him the ipod.. he checked it and told me he will have to reset it to factory settings.. I told him " I have already done that" so he had a question mark on his face. he went and checked again and said "ok" he told me he can offer me $45. i said well u are selling the same piece in much worse condition without original box for $120. He said " where.. no way?" i had already seen the things they were selling at what price.. So i showed him in the Display counter.. He looked at me like I had 10 heads.. He said " well thats our price but this is the price we are buying it for... I told " fine i know u are here to do business and make money but at least offer 50%-60% of the price u are selling it for" He smiled as if i asked him for a ferrari. I said lets put it on the side. Next was the blackerry Bold... same thing he checked and everything, enters some number sin his computer and tells me "Best he can do is gimme $80".. I smiled and I told him " yaa and than sell it for $220" and I showed him in the display counter right below where I was standing... He stared at me as customers who sell are not supposed look at their Sale prices. 3rd Biggest joke was the Macbook.. as showed him the macbook which i had formatted and back to factory settings with the install dvd and everything. He called some guy from inside supposedly to be the expert.. He took my macbook and started terminal and ran a trace command and few other scripts.. I was watching it and I know this because I am Software Developer for Cisco,inc and have previously working for Microsoft also. I had checked online the resale price of my particular model and in that condition was $475. He says well this is a 2007 model.. so i can give you best $175. i felt like cracking up but maintained my composure " First of all this is late 2008 model because Unibodies were introduced in Oct 2008 and didnt exist in 2007" Than he says "Really" I said yaa " check it" he goes back to his comp and checks it.. during which an old guy who i guessed is the owner..comes and says" oh yaa maybe u bough in late 2008 and but the model is 2007" i told him " well i know whats the difference between what year the model is and when i bought it" The old guy frowns. Than the supposedly expert tells me " There is something messed in your Operating system kernel and we will have to fix it" I said " oh really the kernel is messed up i said lemme see. i saw what scrips he had ran on my terminal " i told of so by running 'trace command on terminal u know that my kernel is messed up...systemcheck was clean chit".. he just stared at me and had nothing to say than he says " well nobody buys it so best we can give is $200" I said " Thanks but no thanks.. I dont want to sell anything" I just grabbed all my stuff and left. Well the 1 star i have given is because i guess thats the minimum.... Dont treat Customer who come to sell as they are fools and they will believe anything u say. Well I sold my Macbook for $465 on ebay, Blackberry bold 9700 for $210 on ebay and Ipod nano 5th gen for $95 on craigslist. read more

Well, my friend has recommended this place. He has done business with them on numerous occasions and satisfied every time. I decided to buy an unlocked iPhone the other day. The sales girls were very knowledgeable and attentive. However I asked about the student discount and I misunderstood both of girls when they had explained the discount to me. I decided not to get the phone that day, and go home and do some more research. The next day, I went back and when I wanted to make a purchase, They only gave me $10 off. At that point, shouldn't it the discount ... this much... it should have been over $10 discount based on what they had explained yesterday. Anyways to make the long story short, the manager walked over and gave me a much better deal that I had anticipated. And apologized for the misunderstanding. I was very impressed with the way he handled the situations and took accountability for what I had told him. He put customer service above and beyond making a few more dollars. He was very helpful and took his time with me to go over the phone features, and said I could call if I have further questions about the phone features,etc. My experience with them was superb. read more

Great experience with these guys! Called ahead about the removal of a cd/dvd drive from my Xbox360 that fell over while playing a newly purchased Gears of War 3 which i was quoted $50 though the actual cost varies by the make/model of the drive used. The drive was so badly damaged it brought a tear to Daniel and Brian's eyes... which still sounds like Ryan to me-(poor things) LOL hahahah. (side note) I feel THIS comfortable making stupid jokes after meeting these guys ONCE. All the guys and gal are personable and passionate about what they do. I don't go to gaming/repair stores often but this retro gaming haven is definitely at the top of my re-visiting list! Oh, the disc was damaged so bad another guy(4got his name) stated he didn't even want to take my money, $2.oo for the disc buffering machine to fix because of his experiences with similar disc damage issue. He went ahead got it done I had not much to lose and IT WORKKKKEDDDD!!! He GENUINELY looked out for my pockets before their own greed even if it was $2.oo. Great experience, at least for me. Hayden and his colleague were really cool, nice, friendly and pleasant to help me out. I managed to sell them an old flip top hand-held Donkey Kong / Mario Brothers game, which I did not expect to get any money for but was quite surprised. The laptop computer and electronics equipment, they said, was to old to repair and/or refurbish and it was not worth fixing to get any cash for the items, so they kindly recycled the items for me. Replay'd is an excellent store and I highly recommend them. The weekend staff was professional, kind and helpful. I tried to find places on the Internet as well to recycle and/or buy my used laptop computer and electronics but had no luck, finding any place in Massachusetts and around the country. Oh this guy on here Adam who left them a bad review. He has nothing to do with his pathetic life other than leave nasty reviews. Let me explain something to you people. This is a small business and I support them 100%. All I've gotten is sick customer service and the nicest people I've ever encountered. Look at your options when they fix your phone. Their is a grilled cheese place across the street which has a secret burger menu, a taco bar and a Gastro pub and a habanero. My motorola cliq just randomly broke one day so I needed a to get a new phone and fast because my boyfriend is in a different state than I am and I needed to stay in contact with him! But I am also a college student so I didn't have that much money, my friend referred me to this store and the prices were amazing! Not something I could ever complain about and the selection was great! With their help I was able to get a new phone and they set it up for me too! It was awesome! I didn't even miss my boyfriends phone call that night! Was looking for a good place to shop for all my video game need, didn't have to look much further after stopping into Replay'd. The store is very well organized and easy to navigate threw, with each section sorted alphabetically, its very easy to find what your looking for. They have a very extensive selection of games that range from retro to newer game releases as well. The best thing to mention about the store is that the prices for the games are substantially cheaper than any other gaming store, and were even better than that of either amazon or ebay. Overall was really impressed with the stores cleanliness and the vast amount of knowledge that the employees had about gaming and tech. read more

I had a great experience at this store and highly recommend it. I needed a new Verizon cell phone and didn't want the free upgrade as it wouldn't be free anymore if I buy the new iphone when it comes out. The guy helping me at Verizon recommended Replay'd and I almost didn't go based on the one-star review below. I'm glad I did go because the salespeople were great and they had exactly what I wanted for a really good price. Do the same, judge for yourself, don't let one bad review fool you. If anyone is stupid enough to buy anthing from this place you deserve what you get. My grandson stupidly bought a Ipod from this place. After trying download and charge the Ipod it was determined that the prongs were bent. Naturally they claimed it was him who damaged it. Only after treating court. reporting to the AG office of consumer protection and bloging did they repair this gadget. I was asked to leave the store. Nice. this place is awesome. staff is professional, honest and friendly. first time i went there was to sell some 20 year old nintendo games. i was going to ask for $2 each hoping to gey $1 each. I probably had a dozen games and was paid approx $100 for them. next time i was in the market for an upgraded i pod. the one i got was $160 less tan they charged at Best Buy. then i dropped my i phone and shattered the screen glass. would have cost $400+ for a new phone. screen cost $65 and was ready in less than an hour. read more

Total sweethearts. Came in around 5 last night, ready to tear up and repair my computer after a nice drop to the floor. They took a look at it real quick and charged it up to see what was the matter. D'oh -- turns out only the charger was broken. Offered me a $40 universal charger, but didn't have the money. Found me an used $16 charger, which did the trick perfectly. I left, forgetting my broken charger. Called them up today and they were super friendly about retrieving it. Highly recommend these guys. read more

I recently received both an Iphone, and a laptop from this store. Both were in excellent condition, and as a college student trying to make my pennies stretch, I could not complain about the price. When i got my laptop, i forgot to buy virus protection and my laptop got infected by tons of virus' :( but luckily, they were able to clean it up in one day, allowing me not to get too far behind in my school work. Awesome group of people with massive selection of games. Cover just about every system or game to come out over the past 30 years with the best prices in Boston. Went in to trade an Xbox one for the ps4 and they gave an excellent value for the trade and a great deal for new games as well. Just walking through the door you're hit with a wave of nostalgia. My phone was fixed in the amount of time it took me to go across the street, grab some ice cream and come back. Just another great experience at a great local tech, gaming store. Prices on 360 games went down by nearly half, on vintage games went up about 20% but I still bought a N64 Mario Party for 20 bucks, the cartridge is like new. Score x2. No second guessing at that store always a great deal, bought 5 games, got a bulk discount and 10% student discount. Awesome! Also fixed my 360 RROD for 35 bucks in one-day. Took my phone in to have one of the microphones fixed. Complications during the repair - they gave me a loaner phone. There was oddly a little art in this repair, but Scott managed to return my phone back to its former self. This shop is responsible, respectful and they do the right thing. If you need new glass, or whatever to keep your phone running, don't get a new one - take it here. read more
