An assortment of pricey (possibly very rare) games
    John B.

Replay'd was on my list of spots I wanted to check out in Allston during my visit to the Boston area. Even though it's a small shop, there is a great selection of retro and current-gen games, at reasonable prices. There were a lot of cool display cases that had vintage hardware and games, which is always neat to see in retro game stores. I was particularly interested in PS2 games, and they did not disappoint. I picked up a handful of pretty well-priced PS2 games and saw a lot of other games that caught my interest, too. Another cool thing about this store is that they have a stack of old strategy guides. I saw the Donkey Kong 64 guide calling out to me, as it's one of my all-time favorite games. That was so neat to find! All-in-all, this is a great shop. We should try and support more of these stores if we can, while they're still around. I'm glad Allston has a solid store that seems to serve its community of gamers well.

Glass screen replacement was great and quick! Got to play old Mario 3 on Super Nintendo while waiting.

I've compared their prices with ebay and Replay'd beats almost all listings for the games I was looking for.

As we walk in the cashier duo team greets us, the store is warm and welcoming. The shelves are filled and organized. The area of town is totally packed but inside the store is not crowded at all. Compared to the local shops at home, this east coast haunt has more collectibles. What are we defining as a common collectible? As an example they stock the old Mario Hats and movie props to make life easier to scare away people . They have all sorts of Hello Kitty stuff. The twins found themselves all sorts of strange collectibles that we just had to have . The games were great too, but they already have that new tech, we are building past memories. The check out process was amazing. The pricing was good, the twins informed me. Time to start the rest of the day. Thank you to the team of new friends and family we just made .

We called the local store we dropped them off at, and they pointed us to call GameStop corporate. GameStop corporate told us to just go to the store. Nobody is willing to do anything to help, and my poor 12 year old son gave them money, cards probably worth more than $200, and now he has nothing.

I said Yes and he then gave me their quick spiel. From other reviews it looks like 20% off isn't new and has been a thing for a very long time. I didn't find, in general, their prices to be too bad. A few books maybe but they're smack in the middle of the city in a high tent area and their selection of pretty much everything is great, do slightly higher prices are understandable. Highly suggest a visit for current books, back issues, slabs, and I think lots of gaming stuff as well (I didn't pay attention to their non-comic stuff). It was actually fun for me.

Rob, Yakov, Stee, Jeff, and Jacob are some of the coolest and most chill employees you can find. I'm probably gonna get my Spider-Man/Superman from there someday lol. And how could I forget the pricing of the comics? All of it is fair but they always have special discounts/sales and Rob always welcomes you with a.. "WELCOME TO FRIAR TUCKS!" And then the spiel is explained from there. Awesome stuff.
