It was DISGUSTING and involved so much cleaning and I am just glad that the stuff I stored in there was basically all stuff I could easily disinfect (things from my mosaic studio, not textiles or anything fabric). There were definitely things I had to throw away though...so for the exorbitant price, it added insult to injury. Something else to note - these units are on an incline, so I totally tripped because of the weird angle while moving my stuff out.

Actually the worst experience I've had…read more I rented a unit that wouldn't even open because it was completely rusted shut. I had to report the issue multiple times before a property manager came out. Even with WD-40, she couldn't open it. I was told I'd need to transfer to a different unit. I agreed--as long as there was no extra charge, since the issue wasn't my fault. Then I was told it would cost an additional $86 to transfer. That's unacceptable. I paid for a unit I couldn't even use, wasn't allowed to check it beforehand, and now I'm being asked to pay more? I asked for either a free upgrade or a refund. Instead, I was told there's a non-refundable $20 fee, and I won't be getting that back either. Overall, this was a frustrating experience and a waste of time. I'll be contacting my bank about the charge.

NOT TRUTHFUL WITH ME - BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE…read more Unfortunately, I had rated them five stars...until I left after several months. I had been out of the country and, after a long drive home, got home from the airport at 2:00 in the morning. I called Anchor's Office Manager and said, "I know today is the last day of the month, but can you pro-rate me one day so I can come in this weekend?" He said they don't pro-rate charges, but for just one day, they wouldn't charge me if I vacated first thing in the morning. I DID...AND A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER I LEFT, THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR A FULL MONTH ANYWAY. Had I known they were going to be untruthful, I would have left the car there for the month! Instead, I paid a full month's rent for a vacant spot that they rented out. I asked the Office Manager to email his supervisor's contact information to me, which he agreed to, but never did. THIS LEFT A VERY BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH. This was a very bad customer experience.
