The place is a real professional operation that is focused on rentals, AND has lower rates. The staff was friendly, the policies were clear, and the vehicles clean. So glad I found this place. The truck I got had maybe 45k miles and had some wear and tear, but seemed well maintained. I forget their names, but everyone I dealt with on Feb 12, 2024 was great! Some other folks complained about the Burning Man policy and I get it, it is frustrating when you think you are all set for wheels and you find out at the last minute that you aren't. I been to BRC several times and I totally understand why they have that rule (especially after 2023). If you want certainty with your reservation wherever it is be sure to ask in advance. And get it in writing. Some of the smaller Uhaul outlets say they are ok with it then whack you with the cleaning fee. This place might not let you take their trucks to the playa, but I'm sure they would be upfront and polite about it.

The guy working at the front, Jerry, also known as Ali, was the rudest human being I've ever encountered in my life. My fiancè and I were visiting from Orange County, had just flown in to Reno, and waited to get picked up from the airport from the rent a wreck driver. The girl with red hair who picked us up was very kind and everything was normal. She had us put our luggage in the trunk and asked us to come inside really quick to sign some paperwork. We go in and meet Jerry, who was immediately rude to us for absolutely zero reason. I asked if I could possibly change the return time of the car from 10:30am to 10:30pm, because I made a mistake when placing the order online. This upset him and he responded with "no, you know what, get the fuck out of my office. I am not doing business with you." We were extremely confused and asked what the problem was. We asked to return the car the same day at a later time. We had already paid the deposit weeks before and our luggage was literally in the trunk of the rental car. He then told us to get the fuck out and that he was going to call 911. We then were left in this crappy parking lot in the middle of nowhere with no ride. They didn't offer to bring us back to the airport so we were stuck with our suitcases without a ride/without a rental car. Our plans for looking at a wedding venue unfortunately started on a negative note thanks to this horrible business and horrible manager. The police ended up coming and we explained everything that happened. The guy is psycho and was actually really scary to speak to. Please do not rent a car from here.

I…read morereported it right away, but we were already in the middle of our move with movers on the clock, so we couldn't afford to drive across town to swap trucks. Because the ramp didn't work, my movers had to carry everything by hand, which added a lot of time and extra cost that I would not have had if the truck was in proper working condition. When we returned the truck, the franchise owner was dismissive and rude. He said "things break" and implied there was no way they would rent the truck out like that, instead of taking responsibility. He was also disrespectful toward my wife while we were calmly trying to resolve the situation. After all of that, he only offered about $50 off, which doesn't come close to covering the inconvenience and additional labor costs caused by renting out a truck with a broken ramp. I'm now escalating this to Budget corporate. Customers shouldn't have to pay full price (plus extra moving costs) for equipment that doesn't work and then be treated poorly when they ask for it to be made right.

It was a round trip so we picked up and dropped off at this same location. The man who helped with the transaction was friendly, however, he didn't walk out to the truck with us to inspect damages like uhual would. Instead he said the truck was already inspected on his own time. That could have created some trouble down the road, thankfully it didn't this time. The truck was clean and we were able to do an after hours drop off, which was nice. A couple negatives would be the high price per mile as well as them tacking on an extra $15 charge at the end.
