I really wanted to share my honest feedback because I left pretty disappointed with my service. First, I do want to say the salon itself is beautiful after the remodel, and everyone was very nice and welcoming. My issue is specifically with the nail service I received from Nancy. Before we started, I explained that I wanted my cuticles cleaned. At other salons, and even at this location years ago when I used to go to Queenie, my cuticles were always cleaned before the acrylic was applied. This time, Nancy waited until after the acrylic was already on to clean them. I even asked during the service when she was going to do my cuticles and was told "not yet." Because the acrylic was already applied when she finally did them, I don't feel like they were cleaned properly, and she also ended up cutting the corner of my right thumb while doing them. I was also charged an additional $15 for the cuticle service, which was disappointing because they still don't look properly cleaned. I asked for a skinny square shape, but the finished nails look much wider than what I requested. The acrylic also feels extremely thin, and overall I am just not happy with how my nails look or feel. There was also very little communication during the appointment other than being asked what color I wanted. I understand every nail technician has a different personality, but when you're paying for a service, communication about what you want and whether you're happy with the shape and nails makes a big difference. I also want to make it very clear that the price was NOT the issue. I was told the price, agreed to it, paid $95, and still left Nancy a $10 tip. I am willing to pay for quality work and good service. I didn't complain while I was there because I didn't want to make a big deal or make anyone uncomfortable, but after looking at my nails, I honestly regret not speaking up. For $105 total, I expected to leave loving my nails, and unfortunately I didn't. I was in town for work and my nails were BAD, girl. I needed a fill but didn't have the time to before I flew out, so I decided to make an appointment here during some free time I had. I don't remember my tech's name, but she was nice and pretty quick! She had to do a little repair on them since the acrylic was starting to lift and even then she had me out in about an hour. I didn't get anything crazy done in terms of design because I was on a time constraint, so I just got a simple red nail and was on my way. They felt SO much better after my appointment (iykyk). The shop itself is also pretty standard in what you'd expect at most other nail salons and is pretty clean from what I saw. The price was a little more than I was expecting, but she did have to do a little more repair than normal so I'm guessing that was the reason. Overall I was super thankful to stop in here because there's nothing more annoying than insanely grown out acrylics! read more

I just moved to Reno and was hoping to find my new nail salon however. I spent 2 hrs for pedicure and full set. Picture vs what I got is a no go. She cut the length before I could even say the length. Pedicure was OK. The pictures in the yelp vs what in the place is different. The nail tech did talk a lot it nice. I wouldn't say it was the best job on a pedicure but it was $52 and doesn't seem like it will last. The full set nail tech was super clumsy made my nails really thick like jersey style. I went and got my nails done for the first time last late October 2022 after searching for a nail tech in the Reno area and I found Ni. She is amazing and very talented with her work! I showed her my Pinterest inspo pics and she nailed it! The quality of the nails were really good. I work in the warehouse industry and my nails were well kept after 3 weeks. They could've gone longer but I'm not used to wearing long nails. Ni is amazing and I would definitely come back in the future. This year, I haven't been the most consistent at where I've been getting my nails done however, Reno nail spa is just always available when you need it! My work schedule has been all over the place so booking an appointment and a scheduled time has been a little bit out of the question and this place is one of the few that does walk ins! Granted, you do have to wait as it is a first come first serve but they do try to fit you in! Like everywhere, this place was a little short staffed and there was a point where they were juggling 8 clients when they only had 3 people and they were just so quick and efficient that you honestly could not be mad at them. They were still trying to find a way to take care of everyone. This time around I got queenie. In past times I've been with chi and Liam and between these 3, they're able to give you the designs of your dreams. I asked her to give me EVERYTHING. Design, rhinestones, ombré, whatever it was that she wanted! And each time she added something, she would tell me the new price. I appreciated her transparency. Although there are fancier or more modern salons in Reno, I can't think of another place that's faster, more efficient that leaves you satisfied with how beautiful your nails are than this place. read more

Ni matched my inspo pic almost perfectly. The image I had was kind of fuzzy because it was a video screenshot, and we had to make some slight changes due to my nail length being shorter than the photo. I'm obsessed and can't stop looking at them. I will definitely be coming back here for the foreseeable future. This set of acrylics was $100 and I added a $20 tip.
