Great coffee and food at reasonable prices - love the bagel with lox and the breakfast paninis

LOVE THIS PLACE! My favorite healthy place to eat in and around the Cumming area! Everything is fresh and made to order. I've tried almost everything on the menu and it's all wonderful! My go to is the Vegetarian Salad, sometimes I add the smoked salmon - YUM! Love the avocado toast, the best around (not sure if it is, but the bread taste homemade). The veggie wrap is awesome and the turkey sandwich is the bomb, I get that on the multi-grain bread toasted! Their home made hummus is fresh and tasty! They also have a great variety of coffee's, tea's and smoothies. My favorite smoothie is the Green Explosion with protein! The staff is wonderful too! Sign up for the reward program. The macaroons are worth the price. It's a bit slower service than your typical coffee shop, but none of us were disappointed in our drinks. The smoothies were delicious. The taro boba was perfect for me. I am not a fan of over sweet drinks and that was perfect. The creme brulee macaroons were so good. read more

I stumbled upon this gem purely by chance one day when I was heading to the gym because it's practically next door. The service is pleasant, and the girls who work there were very helpful. Every time I go, I enjoy my favorite: lavender coconut matcha. As for the food, I've tried the turkey sandwich, which was tasty, and the chicken pesto panini, which was delicious. On my next visit, I'll venture to try something different because their menu offers a good variety. I've already invited some friends, and they really liked the place. The atmosphere is peaceful. It's not uncomfortable, but it is small, so you might end up sitting close to people you don't know, so be prepared . You can come across people who are working on their laptops or friends gathering to chat and have a good time. They have two outdoor tables in case you prefer to be outside. I haven't tried them yet because I've been there at noon, and summer was at its peak. Maybe I'll give it a try in the fall with a piping hot coffee and one of their sweet pastries, yummy. Hopefully, they consider extending their service hours during the week because in Cumming, we definitely don't have many places like this where you can have a good time alone or with friends while enjoying something tasty. The cafe is stocked with coffee, tea, pastries and food. I ordered matcha latte with sugar free vanilla syrup and it was A+++. You can really taste the matcha and the syrup makes it subtly sweet. Since I'm a matcha latte aficionado, skip Starbucks and just go here instead. read more

I stop by this cafe when I have a visit at the hospital. This cafe is local and fantastic. The people behind the counter are gracious and friendly. The food is delicious. I've eaten lunch here twice and breakfast once. The prices are reasonable and worth it. I leave feeling great: mind, body and soul. My granddaughter found Rendezvous Cafe today and we were so happy she did! We ordered the ham and brie pressed sandwich and it did not disappoint. The food here is absolutely delicious and the staff is as sweet and helpful as can be. This is a great blend of a awesome coffee shop with a great breakfast and lunch menu. There are many great foods to choose from including a smoothie menu! It's super clean and very comfy inside. We will definitely be dropping in more often!! read more

Have seen this place so many time but friend and I decided to finally go after a regular place started going down hill. The food was delicious and the ladies who work there are so kind and helpful. Only downside I would say is that they have limited seating and if you're a sweet tea connoisseur this is not the place for it, it's simply just unsweetened black tea. Solid CoffeeShop/Cafe in Cumming by Northside Forsyth Hospital! They use Batdorf&Bronson beans and make awesome lattes/iced lattes and they have bubble tea options. I tried their Bombay Chai bubble tea and even my mom really liked it. Being indian, that is a big deal. Their iced white mocha was hitting my coffee craving spot also. Their food looks really great, but I wasn't able to try it. They had lots of seating and offer seasonal options in addition to their base menu. This is a nice cozy cafe with healthy food options such as avocado toast, yogurt bowls, coffee, baked goods, and everything you would find in a casual cafe. I like the fact that they have gluten free options. My mom and I had a lunch date here and she liked the smoked salmon avaocado toast as much as I did. It may have been slightly over salted because the salmon is already salted I guess to stay preserved. If I order it again I would with no salt next time. The girls behind the counter were SO nice and SO patient as it was my first time using Samsung Pay to tap my phone and pay. They helped me figure it out. Great customer service. I love this little cafe. From the outside, it doesn't look like much because it is located in an older strip mall. But once inside, it's quaint and family owned and operated. The food is fresh the prices are great. Whenever I'm in the Cumming area, I make a point to stop here for lunch. The menu for breakfast looks as equally as appetizing as the lunch menu. You would probably miss this place if you weren't looking for it. We just happened to stop by after spin class Saturday morning and saw Cafe Rendezvous. Hmm what is this place we asked? Located right between LA fitness and RadioShack (yes there's actually a RadioShack still in existence), we popped in to see what this place is about. It's actually a very cute little cafe offering baked goods, even gluten-free items and a selection of coffee drinks. We ordered an ice coffee (great strong brew), hazelnut iced coffee (very nice flavor) and a gluten-free cheese biscuit. The biscuit was a bit dry, but it's so nice to even have this option I'm not complaining. There are other gluten-free options as well as sandwiches and salads. I really like this place and hope it does well. The owner was also super nice and accommodating. So give this place a try a try and support your local business! read more

I have to adjust my rating. I hate doing it but something is off here now. I believe it is under new management. The last 2 times the food quality has dropped and the salads come with prepackaged dressing. The salads were all made from scratch before including the dressing. Used to come here for cupbearer as it was convenient location on way to tennis and home from traveling. I love the interior decoration and the beautiful glass displaying some of their delicious treats. I really like the concept of a bistro/cafe offering healthy choices for lunch. I ordered just a small hot mocha this time to compare the flavor to cupbearer and other surrounding chains. One thing I noticed was I didn't hear the expresso machine while my drink was being prepared, not sure if perhaps she had some extra from another patron, so I'm assuming that may be the case. The flavor is good, better than Starbucks or panera. The cost is higher than cupbearer but right in line with Starbucks, so not a big deal. The flavor still isn't quite as perfect as cupbearer but it's a great attempt and would definitely choose this place over any chains nearby. Great edition to the area :) read more
