We stopped here New Years Day Eve to enjoy a 2025 celebration. They had a 3 and 4 course menu and…read morewe chose the 3 course. It started off with the mushroom and chicken soup. Delicious flavor and presentation. Cooked perfectly, broth could have used a bit more depth in flavor but I rounded it out with a touch of ground pepper. The dumpling with side sauces were absolutely wonderful and nicely prepared. Assortment of meats and vegetables all loaded and steamed to perfection. The entree deserves top billing as it was arranged beautifully which mirrored the delicious flavor of the meat and accompanying vegetables. Loads of flavor, cooked perfectly and married with a nice sauce. The highlight was a glass of champagne offered at the start of the meal. Bubbly, not overly sweet and it was a great way to start the meal. Highly recommended. Beautiful location, very clean and nicely decorated for the holidays.

Their shrimp dimsum and pork siomai are yum too! Then of course, how can you go wrong with their Jolly half peking duck! All good! Service - meh. There were only 4 servers to an almost full restaurant at 1pm. But you just make eye contact and smile and they will notice you. Ambiance - nice! Like those nice chinese restaurant, no smell of their cooking. I was surprised. Before you raise your eyebrows on my comment, I just want to point out that I have been to those that smells like their food, sometimes its off-putting, sometimes its not. Overall, highly recommend. :)

The Head Chef is not Tim Raue which is why I started this new yelp business review. Executive Chefs…read morechanged earlier this year. If I had been when Tim was the chef I think the experience would have been different as well. We ate in a nice quiet area near the front windows and overall we had a really nice time. We did the Chefs Tasting Menu. We were told the menu is the Chefs inspiration as to what comes out for us but we did see other tables get some of the same dishes. Nonetheless it was very enjoyable and portions were great. Dessert was a little light.. was hoping for something more exciting. We ate our dinner with Sake and Sparkling Water. The server was very attentive and other staff members were very nice. The Bar Manager (not sure if he was) but he was going around to the tables to pair Wine and Sake with everyone's meals. We had his favorite Sake and then another kind to end the evening with. If you're looking to treat yourself, impress a girl or boy, this is a nice place to come for a date. Atmosphere is dim lighting and dance music. My favorite thing was these chewy mint pineapple chunks they give you after the dinner. Our server brought us more and I was in love with it. Need to sell those little things!

We had an incredible experience here. Ask to sit in the…read moremain room. It's lovely. The side room sucks. Dalal cooked us up some beautiful cocktails (Moscow Mule and Negroni) and we ordered the 6 course taster menu (78 euros). We added a very expensive bottle of sake and the meal was over 350 euro. NOT CHEAP. But it was a truly special meal with impeccable service. Sushi/Sashimi - nicely done. Salmon - insane like no salmon I've ever had. Prawn - probably the weakest dish as the sauce was a bit too tart. Veal Neck - wow just wow. Pork Belly Bao - phenomenal. Build it big! And a lovely dessert. Highly highly recommend.

This place was busy. It was a Sat night and you definitely needed reservations. We needed up…read morebeing able to get a table outside but had to be out by 9PM probably because there were reservations after that. We were easily able to be served and leave by then (about 80 minutes). We had 3 kids so ordered the fish and chicken kids dishes. The chicken and rice kids dish was really good. Excellent broth with lemongrass. We also ordered a beef dish and the lovers sushi plate. The sushi was fresh and decent. The beef dish was also flavorful. They don't have regular pop/sprite here and my kids didn't really like what stye did have, but whatever, they dealt with it. I knocked a star off for two things. They really pack you into the outdoor area which is great for them, but it's super cramped to the point where we were constantly being elbowed in the backs by the people behind us... who didn't seem to care that this was happening over and over. So that was annoying. And the staff here were less than friendly. They did their job and we got the correct food and I also realize this is partly a cultural thing, but she was bordering on rude.

Decided to try something different on our last night in Berlin. Yelp pointed us to Dudu, which…read moredidn't disappoint. Outdoor seating was packed, but pretty much all the (long) tables inside were open. So if it's nice out and you want to sit outside, be prepared to wait. Since almost all the patrons were eating outside, service inside was somewhat slow. Menus were already on the tables, but it took some time to flag down a waiter and get one in English. Food came out in a timely manner, though. Before placing your order, be sure to check out specials on the chalk board! Dudu's menu mainly consisted of a mix of Vietnamese dishes and sushi. Decided to start with dumplings and the starter beef pho. Although both were good, I enjoyed the dumplings more. I liked how the dumpling wrapper wasn't too thick and that it was packed with pork. The dipping sauce went well with the dumplings and wasn't too sour or spicy. I liked how you can order a starter of the pho. It was the perfect size to get a taste of the dish, leaving room for other items on the menu. The small bowl was packed with noodles and beef shavings. The soup itself didn't have as much flavor as I would have liked it to, but it was still good. Our main meal consisted of a variety of rolls that we shared. The salmon avocado and tuna rolls were pretty good, although standard. The fish was fresh and the ratio of fish to fish was good. The crispy yellow roll, one of Dudu's special rolls, was just okay. The roll itself was deep fried and contained avocado and cucumber. Separate from the roll was diced spicy tuna that you were supposed to eat with the roll. If I knew it would came like this, I don't think I would have ordered it. I was over the actual roll pretty quickly, but really enjoyed the spicy tuna. I also tried some of C's "rice for kids", which was a small bowl of soup rice with chicken on top. He quickly ate all the chicken, but left most of the rice. Again, didn't know the rice would be rice mixed in a broth. You could tell the broth had ginger in it as the taste was pretty prominent. Not so sure this is a good idea for a kid's dish...the only kid's meal offered. Price of all the food was reasonable, although pricier than typical meals in Berlin.
