    Peking duck sauce
    Why-Tie Z.

As Chinese born Berliner we enjoyed Jolly. The dishes were okay. Nothing really crazy, BUT the Peking duck is what is absolutely phenomenal and almost exactly what you can expect to get in good Peking duck spots in China. The Peking duck is an absolute 5/5 stars. All the other dishes + the high pricing of all dishes would make this place more of a 3/5. Very authentic! If you want to try great original Peking duck. This is your spot!

    Skimpy skanky dim sum

Truth to tell I can't leave a full review because my party and I left early. It started out well enough - soups (hot & sour and won ton) and beers were fine. But then we had to wait forever for some skanky, skimpy dim sum. Then we had to wait even longer for our wines, chop sticks and condiments. We finally pulled the plug when the waiter came to the table with one glass of Cabernet. When I told him him we'd ordered Sauvignon Blanc, he replied that both wines have the word "Sauvignon" and so he was correct. Because that's not a thing, we left I should note they had a full restaurant and the THREE wait staff were slammed

Delicious Chinese food from Sichuan and Canton. The different kinds of Dim Sum variations are awesome. This is place to be if you like to enjoy Dim Sum.

Quick service! Good food and nothing to complain about. Worth the money the menu was extensive and full of great taste.

They made the best hot and sour soup of my life. Nice casual and elegant setting. Service is quick, if not brusk. They could improve upon the friendliness. They seem well equipped for large groups. I saw many tables were already reserved. The red curry was good but not great.

Ice cream with fried banana. Has a touch of Caramel sauce. Very nice and not heavy.

Amazing food. When it has three chillies it is hot so if you like spicy food like mine it was delicious. Highly recommend.

Each table has a number, get your number if you want to order an omelet. You put the table number on your omelet order and then they deliver your omelet to your table. if the hotel is empty, your omelet will arrive in less than 5 minutes. BUT if the hotel is packed you might be waiting 15 minutes or longer and then the omelet will be under cooked. But in general the omelet is very good. Each omelet chef is different, some your omelet is huge and others it will be small. There is a nice selection of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, sausages including currywurst. The currywurst made here is special, highly recommend to give it a try. Homemade jams are very good with whole chunks of fruit. Yogurt with fresh fruits and all the toppings you can want on your yogurt. Service: it is very bad and slow. if you want water and/or coffee, just go to the station and get it yourself and put it on your table. If you want espresso, help yourself to the machines.

We chose to eat here the first night of our stay because we were tired of the long drive and we were told they'd be able to accommodate our children who have food allergies. First let's talk about the allergies. If I'd of known their accommodation of food allergies meant the have a food allergy menu we'd of chosen somewhere different. We were made to believe the chef/staff would be able to prepare a meal for our children that were tailored to their allergies. That wasn't the case. As for the food, it was good. I ate two meals there, with the first being ribs which were good. My second was a Berliner Currywurst and I've had better. My wife got a panini the first night and she said it was good, and her second meal was a linguine that was ok. All in all, we had a better meal around the block at another restaurant.

If I had been when Tim was the chef I think the experience would have been different as well. We ate in a nice quiet area near the front windows and overall we had a really nice time. We did the Chefs Tasting Menu. We were told the menu is the Chefs inspiration as to what comes out for us but we did see other tables get some of the same dishes. Nonetheless it was very enjoyable and portions were great. Dessert was a little light.. was hoping for something more exciting. We ate our dinner with Sake and Sparkling Water. The server was very attentive and other staff members were very nice. The Bar Manager (not sure if he was) but he was going around to the tables to pair Wine and Sake with everyone's meals. We had his favorite Sake and then another kind to end the evening with. If you're looking to treat yourself, impress a girl or boy, this is a nice place to come for a date. Atmosphere is dim lighting and dance music. My favorite thing was these chewy mint pineapple chunks they give you after the dinner. Our server brought us more and I was in love with it. NOT CHEAP. But it was a truly special meal with impeccable service. Sushi/Sashimi - nicely done. Salmon - insane like no salmon I've ever had. Prawn - probably the weakest dish as the sauce was a bit too tart. Veal Neck - wow just wow. Pork Belly Bao - phenomenal. Build it big! And a lovely dessert. Highly highly recommend.

Outdoor seating was packed, but pretty much all the (long) tables inside were open. So if it's nice out and you want to sit outside, be prepared to wait. Since almost all the patrons were eating outside, service inside was somewhat slow. Menus were already on the tables, but it took some time to flag down a waiter and get one in English. Food came out in a timely manner, though. Before placing your order, be sure to check out specials on the chalk board! Dudu's menu mainly consisted of a mix of Vietnamese dishes and sushi. Decided to start with dumplings and the starter beef pho. Although both were good, I enjoyed the dumplings more. I liked how the dumpling wrapper wasn't too thick and that it was packed with pork. The dipping sauce went well with the dumplings and wasn't too sour or spicy. I liked how you can order a starter of the pho. It was the perfect size to get a taste of the dish, leaving room for other items on the menu. The small bowl was packed with noodles and beef shavings. The soup itself didn't have as much flavor as I would have liked it to, but it was still good. Our main meal consisted of a variety of rolls that we shared. The salmon avocado and tuna rolls were pretty good, although standard. The fish was fresh and the ratio of fish to fish was good. The crispy yellow roll, one of Dudu's special rolls, was just okay. The roll itself was deep fried and contained avocado and cucumber. Separate from the roll was diced spicy tuna that you were supposed to eat with the roll. If I knew it would came like this, I don't think I would have ordered it. I was over the actual roll pretty quickly, but really enjoyed the spicy tuna. I also tried some of C's "rice for kids", which was a small bowl of soup rice with chicken on top. He quickly ate all the chicken, but left most of the rice. Again, didn't know the rice would be rice mixed in a broth. You could tell the broth had ginger in it as the taste was pretty prominent. Not so sure this is a good idea for a kid's dish...the only kid's meal offered. Price of all the food was reasonable, although pricier than typical meals in Berlin.
