I recently purchased a 2010 Infiniti G37x and as expected, the dealer only had one key fob (Proximity Key)to give me. I immediately started calling to find out how much a replacement key fob would cost and prices ranged anywhere from $100-$350 for the key and then another $200-$250 for programming it. After doing some research I decided to buy a key from ebay and take it to get it programmed somewhere. After doing some research and a lot of phone calling, I learned that programming proximity keys is a racket where a few companies do the programming outside the dealership and they are engaged in a price-fixing scam that ought to be illegal!!!! I searched the internet and came across Reliable Locksmith, and i noticed that there website appeared different from the other scammers out there. I called and spoke with Bo, who gave me a price up-front for programming and a time to come by to do the work. I was blown away when his charge was less than HALF of what the other guys were charging, and half-expected a miserable experience. Boy, was I wrong!!! I met Bo for my appointment, and he immediately went to work on programming my key. I was in and out with my key in 30-45 mins, and he made sure and erased any existing prox keys programmed to my car. First my apologies for being late with this review as it should've been done earlier. I rarely write good reviews for I am very skeptical and jaded, these day when most are eager to write negative reviews writing this was is very easy. I had a self inflicted wound today(meaning my fault) and Bo came to the rescue, after looking on here for the best recommended I came across Reliable Locksmith. Even after he provided a very fair price point I still wanted to check and in a time when many of us seem to be at odds it was very refreshing to call a fellow competitor (you know I shouldn't even say that) another company but whose owner Kevin Wilson Certified Master Locksmith had nothing but kudos for Bo after he queried the price point when I declined his for being a bit more. He was already on a job and thoroughly encouraged me to call Bo back which I did. In such time when it seems all businesses want to do is "pick your pocket" it was VERY encouraging to see such class and a genuine demonstration of what life could be when we all try to work together and support each other. Lost my keys to my 97' Ford Expedition. The door was unlocked but no way to start my vehicle. I jumped on Yelp to find reviews for mobile locksmith in my area. I found a few with some good and some not so good reviews. I also was not prepared for the pricing range I saw but what can you do. Reliable Locksmith had 5 very good reviews so I called them. I spoke with Boaz. He looked up my vehicle and gave me two prices. He said it depended on the type key the cylinder takes. The range was $155 to $200. He arrived in 40 minutes just as we had agreed. He worked for about 20 to 30 mins. He had me ready to go and charged me the lower rate of $155. He was easy going and professional.
