Not so Reliable. Brought my Ram 2500 diesel in for an oil change and diagnosis of a hot oil smell at the rear of the truck. Tech attempted an upsell by saying my shocks were going bad - but they were just replaced 6 months ago and there is zero bounce in my truck. Oil change was fine but not clear if they replaced the fuel filters as well which is recommended. Tech advised there were "no visible leaks" and they couldn't smell the hot oil, blamed on the exhaust regeneration. The oil smell continued so a few days later I had a friend take a look underneath and he saw extensive build up of oil residue on my gas tank and exhaust pipe - clear evidence of a long term leak. Turns out my rear pinion seal (and flange) were bad. I doubt the "Reliable" tech even looked under the truck. I tried calling the shop - voice mail was full. Emailed and never got a response. Will not be going back. read more

Good service at a fair price .. it's really that simple. Trucks today are not as simple or archaic as they once were, as such that trusty steed might need some technical repair that's beyond your skill set. Reliable is the place to go for knowledgable diesel mechanics that do honest work. I brought my 7.3L Powerstroke in thinking something was wrong with the turbo. They diagnosed that I was actually needing an injector replaced and sure enough my truck is running like a champ. They keep good communication with you as well so you know what's going on. I will be back (hopefully not too soon) and will recommend these guys to anyone. read more

I talked to several diesel shops including A 2 Z diesel performance solutions and the guys at reliable diesel were by far the best. They are super friendly and willing to help. Even the owner is such a nice guy which may be the reason the whole office is friendly. Talked on the phone with the owner of A2Z and he acted like it was a chore to talk to me like he couldn't wait to get off the phone, super short and kinda rude. The owner here at reliable diesel was so friendly and helped me get my truck to pass emissions. Because of my positive experience with these guys with something so small and simple to get my truck pass emissions even though it was a small not highly profitable job for these guys, I will definitely come back to this place when I need other work done on my diesel truck which I can assure you I will need. These guys have looked after me on a number of occasions over the last year. When I had a mishap with my Ford in a parking lot, I was able to call Randy out of hours, and have my truck delivered to hum by tow truck. He was good enough to advise the best way to go about getting the truck repaired and back on the road, even though he would only get a small amount of work through the repair. Don't even think about taking your truck to Reliable, Had them fix the timing case gasket on my Cummins Dodge, a $1200.00 repair. A/C worked fine when I drove it down but after the repair it doesn't work at all. Randy told me it must have a leak. Funny thing the leak started while it was parked at his place for a weekend. Randy said he thought I was trying to rip him off for some freon. Really, I'll pay you 1200 to fix an oil leak but I won't pay 50 for some 134? The attitude from Randy and some other guy sitting in the office was unbelievable. read more

I took my 2004 F350 dually here. Would not recomend them to anybody. I tried to get my truck into Bullet Proof Diesel first but they were 4-6 weeks out, Reliable got me in thee next day, hould have been a red flag right there.I have had nothing but problems with thier work. the quality of work is shoddy at best and every time i had to take it back there was always an excuse. Took the truck to Bullet Proof Diesel and they found multiple problems due to just plain lak of pride in work. ground wire on FICM not connected, freeze plug from EGR valve bypass instal had come loose and got stuck at turbo causing whstle, and now the 4' exhaust has come loose AGAIN and is banging on the leaf spring hanger bolt, i think its because they didnt hook up all the exhaust hangers. When I took it back the first time,I was toId the tech who worked on my trruck never made mistakes, then the last time i was there( so they could fix another thing they did wrong) I was told the original tech was fired for doing sloppy work.. They will never touch my truck again. read more
