I've used Reliable Delivery for two moves now. Both moves were as smooth as I could every want. Reliable was incredibly professional. They took excellent care of my belongings. All furniture was wrapped. My belongings were packed in boxes protected by many layers of paper. The floors and walls were protected before they moved anything. The crew was very friendly and pleasant. While they may not be the least expensive, they are worth every penny. If you want a hassle free move, these are the guys to do it. read more

these guys are great, and very sweet on the eyes. I will have to admit, I was not in a happy mood throughout this move, and I have a feeling the movers got the hint once my ex walked into the house and started acting a fool... I will have to say sorry to them, the movers; because I was not too friendly, but I have had the week from hell, and they were my saving grace. I had them drag this ridiculously heavy workout machine up the stairs in my new small semi ghetto apartment, and they had no problem. AMAZING... that alone impresses me, I felt sooo bad for making them do all the dirty work for me. Howevs they were cool and did their job fast. I would have never been able to get all that heavy stuff to my new place by myself. Thanks reliable Delivery, once I get out of this lease in the ghetto, I will call you back to get me up out of here... : ) awesome prices, no min 3 hour charge, and thats great for peeps who don't have that much stuff to deliver/move. read more

I decided to hire a mover for the first time, turning to Yelp for help seeking one. I called a few of the top rated movers and Reliable Delivery had the best quote for me. My place was pretty small and I didn't have a lot of furniture so I knew I probably wasn't even going to need the full 3 or 4 hours the moving companies make you sign up for. The guy on the phone told me I didn't have to go with a minimum so that helped, and also I wasn't going to be charged double time for the time it took them to drive in the moving truck from one place to the next (most companies will do this). On the day of my move Dan and another guy showed up on time and ready to go. I would like to note right here that both of these guys are easy on the eyes, so that was sort of the fun in my moving day. They wrapped up and moved all my furniture with no problems. They also helped me take my clothes from my closet and put in these wardrobe moving boxes they brought. I don't think they typically help pack those without the customer paying, but they helped out anyhow. I think the move took a total of 2 1/2 hours, and I was charged for just that. My new apartment didn't have a lot of stairs to go down (maybe 5?) but I did get a charge for stairs at this place (every moving company typically charges for this). With that said, the charge was SUPER small and then I got a discount (which was greater than both stairs charges) for paying with cash (take advantage of this if you can). Reliable Delivery came in WAY under cost what every other mover quoted me. The guys who helped me move (Dan and a guy who just moved here from Pennsylvania) were very friendly and helpful and I would trust them with my items with no problem. read more

Dan and Jeremiah showed up early and moved us in half the time I thought it would take. Reliable is a very professional, no-nonsense, moving company. We'll definitely be using them again! read more

I recently hired Reliable Delivery for my move from San Diego to Orange, CA. I have used various moving companies for my previous moves and Reliable Delivery is the best. The movers were extremely fast, courteous and for the first time in my experience did not break anything they moved. They gave me a very fair price for my move. I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them. read more

Very pleased with the move of my 5 bedroom house. They were quick, efficient, and careful. I would highly recommend. Thank you Gary, Kevin, Dan, Derek, and Kyle! Definitely would hire these guys again! read more

First time ever using a moving company, and they were FANTASTIC! no minimum, 10% discount when using cash, a flat rate, and even went to multiple locations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone and everyone to call these guys for all moves (big or small)! Thanks guys! read more

Seth and Nate were great! They moved me this past Sunday and they were nice, quick and efficient. They had my 1 bedroom apartment in Hillcrest loaded quickly, were at the new place in la jolla before we got there, and had my stuff unloaded in about 45 mins. We needed an extra couch wrapped up in saran wrap and moved (along with a few other boxes) into the garage in the alley and they were happy to help. All in all it was a great move. I was a tiny bit surprised with the price b/c I had thought I would be getting more then a 5% discount because I was paying in cash, mentioned yelp, and had active duty military but per the contract 5% was all. The total cost for 2 mover for 3 hours, the 17ft truck, double drive time from hillcrest to la jolla, and the fuel charge was $380 plus tip. So slightly more then it looks like others had mentioned they paid, yet still worth the peace of mind. They were super quick with emails and communication. Thanks Reliable Delivery! read more

I have use Reliable Delivery twice and both times they have provided an exceptional service to me. They arrived on time and worked fast and carefully to move my furniture. They were very helpful in placing furniture exactly where I wanted it, even furniture that was not being transported on their truck. Their rates are very reasonable too. I highly recommend them. read more

We chose Reliable Delivery based on Yelp. From the beginning contact with Daniel to the end of our move we could not have been more pleased. John, Nate and Seth arrived right on time and ready to pack out our 2600sf belongings to our 1300sf condo and storage. They were very accomodating and very pleasant. It was obvious that they were experts and we looked to them for a bit of advice. Unfortunately our storage closed at 6pm which left us with a van full of our storage items. They reassured us they would secure the van over night and meet us at 8am at our storage. This was a huge stress relief and at 8am the next morning they were there and expedited the move in an hour. We were thrilled with their hard work and positive attitude. Moving is no picnic but they made it so much easier! We definitely highly recommend Reliable Delivery. read more

Reliable Delivery is the reason Yelp and Angies List was created!! Daniel was very accommodating to my schedule and my buildings moving rules. Nate and Seth moved my things out of a One Bedroom Condo and into a Single family home with great care and quick service. They also made a second trip down to my off site storage unit. I felt that Reliable Delivery's hourly rate is extremely competitive. Considering the amount of care and attention to detail they give to your things, their hourly rate is "priceless". I would give them six stars if there were an option to do so. read more

Dan and Seth moved my things this morning in record time! Dan provided quick responses on all email communications prior to the move, showed up right on time, and were all smiles and great attitudes. They were very friendly and professional - I felt like it was my older brothers' friends who just showed up to help. Everything was moved and then re-set up in just 2 hours, not a ding in the wall or anything broken or chipped at all. They moved numerous large and unwieldy items (a double reclining couch...) expertly, secured everything, and carefully saved all nuts and bolts so it was quick on the unpacking end as well. I'm very satisfied with this company - it was the cheapest rate I found and worth every penny to save me the hassle of nagging friends to help. I will recommend this company to anyone I know who needs movers in the area from now on! read more

Best moving experience by far since moving to San Diego County. I moved from the San Carlos area to Santee back in March. Right from the start, they gave a good first impression. After calling them, I spoke to Daniel and was told to fill out a form and he emailed me back information that I needed pretty promptly. Any additional questions I had, he was able to answer them and was pretty honest. They had 3 guys who were very professional, efficient, and courteous. They did not complain and had a great attitude throughout the move. I was skeptical about hiring them for our move because we've had bad experiences in the past with movers. We ended up paying less than what we were quoted (probably helped that we moved a lot of items prior to the moving date) and we got a nice discount because we paid in cash. I also like the fact that they don't charge you extra for things like wardrobe boxes, shrink wrap, and blankets. I would highly recommend this company for your next move. read more

We contracted with Reliable Delivery to move the contents of a garage to a storage facility and then to move various furniture items to a nearby residence. We were in a time crunch as the owner of the property who was going to do the move himself, was badly injured the day before the scheduled move. I researched movers and identified three possible candidates and called each of them. When I spoke to Daniel (the owner) I knew I found the company we would use. He was professional and took the time to explain things to me. He was able to meet our time demands and completed the move as planned. They worked hard and fast and did an excellent job. If you are looking for a good, competent mover, give Reliable Delivery a call. You'll be glad you did. read more

These guys were on time. They packed everything carefully. It was quick and efficient move. I'll definitely use them again.

I have time to write this review on moving day, because Dan and Danny got us up and moved in record time. Excellent customer service, easily the most professional and experienced movers we've ever used. The price was absolutely appropriate for the caliber of the move, we would recommend these guys to ANYONE looking for an easy move with great people! read more

Reliable Delivery was all that the YELP ratings and comments had touted. The arrangement was easy--a quote initiated by filling out their web form, hearing back by email (just be careful that their message back might be sorted as junk mail), returning the agreement form, and then waiting for the call. The moving crew of three came just as planned. They were fast, efficient, hard-working, and careful in the move. It was two hours total for a local move from a medium-sized (?9x13) room in a local storage place. Thanks, reliable delivery, yelp, and yelp reviewers. read more

Overall I would have to say my experience was pretty great: they showed up on-time/early, were very friendly, got to work immediately, were very fast and efficient and worked tirelessly to complete the job. They even brought in an extra guy at no extra cost to help move the process along faster. So why not a perfect score of 5 stars? Unfortunately I was very disappointed in the way my bed frame was dismantled. My bedroom set is fairly new and I paid over $3,000 for it. It's my baby and I'm very careful with it. I walked into the bedroom while it was being dismantled and I was horrified to see very obvious dents from the drill all over the inside of the frame at every place a screw was removed! I nearly had a heart attack! I instantly confronted the guy and his response was "oh, you can't see it. It's on the inside." I seriously wanted to cry. I looked at the opposing side where the main guy had removed the screws and there wasn't a single dent, which goes to show that one guy (I think his name was Seth) was very careful not to dent it up, but the other guy wasn't at all. He wasn't apologetic either and instead gave me the excuse of it not being visible. It is visible, because I can see it and I know it's there and it bothers me, and it basically devalued and depreciated my property. I was really hurt and upset by it but the damage was already done. I had to leave the room because I was steaming with anger. After taking a breather it was kind of awkward being around the careless guy, and he now wasn't really talking to me anymore. He should have been more careful and apologized for it, rather than blowing it and me off. That wasn't cool. Also the extra guy they brought in accidentally broke one of my 3-drawer desk pieces. Yes, I know it's particle board which isn't sturdy, but seeing and knowing that, I would think that he should have been more careful with it than he was. Also, because they stacked heavy boxes onto one of the chairs-that-turns-into-a-bed that was at my new spot, that chair no longer turns into a bed :( grrr. Not totally their fault but it's a bummer. A combination of those cons are why I would have given my experience 2-3 stars, however the redeeming factors are (1) how overall efficient and friendly they were (2) bringing in an extra guy to help out (3) taking the time to carefully wrap each furniture piece (4) Seth was awesome and brought some furniture pens in to try to cover up the dents - of course it's not in its original unadulterated state but he at least tried to make up for his partner's mistake (5) not having to move heavy furniture is huge!! I don't think any ill-intent took place, I just think a little more attention to detail and NOT denting up my bed frame in the first place and when I call you out on it, be a man and apologize instead of make excuses and then shun me the rest of the time, would have made my experience perfect. But hey, I have to be honest about the overall experience and I think 4 stars is completely fair. Looking back, I regret not being in the room and hovering over them to make sure they weren't damaging any furniture. I'm just not that type and figured everything was gonna be fine. Lesson learned I guess. But hey, overall I'm happy despite the bed frame etc. and I still tipped them $100 because they deserve it!! These men work very hard and not having to do what they do is priceless. Thanks guys :) read more

These guys are great! They called to let me know they were on the way and arrived early. They started working right away and did not stop for breaks. I had several large antique pieces and a couple of big glass cases. Everything was carefully wrapped and arrived safely. I would definately recommend this company. read more

I had a great experience with Reliable Delivery. I found them on yelp and decided to use them based on the good reviews. The guys were great. They called 10 minutes before arriving, and even showed up early. Once they arrived, they started immediately. Seth, John and Cody were very careful and efficient. They even wrapped up my TV with blankets when I couldn't fit it back into its original box without removing the base. We were done in about 1.5 hours. Definitely recommend them. read more

Great moving company! Made the reservation over the phone a few weeks ahead of my move. Three guys showed up 15 minutes early and got to work right away. Moving out of a highrise in the middle of summer is difficult work but they did an awesome job. Made sure everything was right where I wanted it in the new apartment. Put together my large furniture very quickly. The wardrobe boxes are a great bonus. All rates and charges were exactly what they said they would be. Paid cash and received the 5% Yelp discount. (He even rounded to make it a few bucks cheaper.) Very friendly guys to spend the day with. Would definitely recommend Reliable Delivery for anyone moving in San Diego. read more

We recently hired Reliable Delivery to help us move from San Diego to San Francisco. They were great and made moving day so much easier. The guys were on time, courteous and hardworking. I'd give zero stars if I could!! I used these guys awhile back when I had to do a double move and had to be out of my condo before my house was ready. I used Reliable Delivery to pack & move all of my stuff into a large storage unit. I was frustrated that they had left some of my stuff behind in the move and then they wouldn't respond to my calls trying to catch them to come right back to help with the items they had forgotten. The worst of it was when I moved from my storage into my house. I used a different moving company, as Reliable Delivery did not prove to be reliable at all. The new movers checked each box in my storage unit before they moved it, as they didn't want to be responsible for items that may already be damaged from the first movers. What we found was astounding. The packers/movers for Reliable Delivery did the worst job ever on packing. For example, I had a large expensive vase. How did these guys pack it? They literally threw one 12"x12" piece of bubble wrap in the box and put the vase in. No other packing material to protect the vase! So you can imagine this didn't fare well in the move. Most of my breakable items were packed this way and were shattered in the move. Much of my furniture was damaged and it was obvious with some items that they had known they had damaged it but tried to hide it in how they packed it my storage unit. Another wonderful thing these guys did was in their labeling of boxes. While it might seem comical to a bystander, labeling many boxes as "Things" and "Stuff" and "Randomness" was less then helpful when I was trying to unpack and find things. I'm not sure if that makes them comedians or complete asses but either way, it was less than professional and I would never ever recommend these guys. **UPDATE** The business has responded (see below) by saying I'm a competitor. I AM NOT A COMPETITOR!! I moved last June and have the paperwork to back it up. I'm happy to dig it up and post the pics to prove I'm a valid customer. Great excuse though to try to get out of the responsibility of owning up to the HORRIBLE service I had. read more

We just used Reliable Delivery again to move us from Carlsbad to the SFV. In short, they are the best movers we have ever used (and we move a lot). They arrived exactly on time at 7 AM, quickly and carefully loaded the truck, and then on the other end, unloaded just as efficiently. We didn't have a single damaged item, the guys were friendly and polite, and I just can't get over how fast they were. We were completely done with the move by 11:30 AM. I love great customer service and these guys go above and beyond. Worth every penny! read more

We've used Reliable Delivery now twice: Once for a move from one home to another about 15 minutes apart and once for an in-home move. I recently used this company based on their glowing Yelp reviews, and had a very good experience. I was moving from a 2-bedroom apartment to another 2-bedroom, just a few blocks away. Seth, Nate and Daniel showed up exactly when they said they would and were fast, efficient and professional. I was able to get a $10 per hour discount off their hourly rate by paying in cash. I guess the only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the communication wasn't that great when I was setting up the move ... it took them several hours to return my initial phone call, I was then told to just fill out the request for quote on their website and they would get back to me "within 15 to 30 minutes" and that ended up being a couple of hours. No biggie, but I was under a time deadline (I had to move within a week, with very little notice) and I really wanted the reassurance that everything was a go, as soon as I could get it. Everything turned out fine though, and I would definitely recommend the company to others. read more

I used Reliable Delivery to move me from San Diego to Redmond, Oregon. First, they had to move my stuff into their storage facility, then later to a moving truck, then bring my belongings to Oregon. The first time they showed up, I was pleasantly surprised -- there were four clean-cut all American guys, and it was delightful having them as my movers, as they were all very nice and friendly. They actually arrived the same day that I did from San Diego (I was expecting them the next day), so I didn't have to go without my furniture until the next day.
