In a day and age where I am routinely disappointed by the attention to detail, work ethic and level of customer service, I was compelled to wake up early and give these men the credit they are due. Josh and Thomas at Reliable Delivery represent what everyone would want if they set their elderly mother up with movers. I originally spoke with Josh @ Reliable delivery by phone, he quoted me a competitive rate (not the cheapest but right in there with others) and then provided me with all the details I needed. Quick and easy. The reason I chose Reliable from the quote wasn't based on price. It was because he asked me lots of questions about what I needed, and about the move. It seemed like he asked me more questions than anyone and was trying to get a sense of the service we required. I booked with Josh and he sent me all the paperwork and then followed up with me several times to confirm our date and time. Josh and Thomas were on time, they introduced themselves, we all shook hands and they asked to got right to work. Meticulous inventory of items, then came the wrapping, padding, taping of all breakables and furniture. This takes time and they did it the right way, they acted like it was their families stuff they were moving. They loaded the truck like a couple pros, everything was strapped and tied down and everything fit perfectly. Then they drove it to our new location, asked us where everything went and they went right back to work. Thomas and Josh were so careful with everything and our walls, and our carpet. This isn't easy when you're carrying 250lbs between two guys and lifting it in all sorts of directions to make it inside the next room around an angle. My wife mentioned that she was also very impressed with how they communicated with each other in her presence. Always asking the other if they were "Okay" and she said her interactions with both young men were excellent and very courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and when they repacked their truck before heading off for two more jobs they both came and said: "THANK YOU" for the business and the waters at the end. I woke up this morning and called the Reliable Delivery office and was leaving a message when Daniel Parascand, the owner, picked up the phone. We had a nice chat. He explained it's not easy hiring in his industry, but he has a wife and kids of his own and he said part of his litmus test is finding team members that he would be comfortable with having them around his family. From my estimation, he's done a good job with picking the guys that worked on our move. As a business owner for 27 years, I know what it means to provide customer service and how important the little details are to your clients. This has been the 28th move in my lifetime, so not my first rodeo. I was in a jam and had to move out of a storage facility by Saturday(already Wednesday afternoon=2days! Some site called Thumbtack from a link via google search for movers in Oceanside sent requests to several vendors, I never used it before but will again! Darya from Reliable Delivery sent me the first quote, it was reasonable, so I contacted her. Within minutes we had coordinated a time for the next morning (inside of 24 Hours!), I paid a deposit and would pay the driver the remaining balance - note: discounted price for cash payment). Minimum time was 3 hours. This was a local move inside of 3 miles in Oceanside, CA. Goods consisted of furniture(bed/headboard/mattress/boxspring), chest of drawers, long dresser, Ashley mission style (think heavy wood) 8ft leather couch, and reclining chair, file cabinets, artwork, paintings, wardrobe - work clothes, civilian clothes, sets of double kettlebells up to 70lbs, lamps, military awards & decorations, bicycle, bookshelf, countless personal and professional files and documents, entertainment center, consoles, custom gaming PC, and two large 50" Plazma televisions (these were circa 2004, and still work great but are heavy). Basically a single bedroom apartment/condo worth of materials. Ilkhom and Alim were the great guys that arrived on time to accomplish the move with an approx. 18' truck. They called 20-25 minutes away to let me know they were inroute. I assisted them and we emptied out the entire storage unit in an hour. This was including shrink-wrapping some items for protection, much of the boxing I had accomplished prior to their arrival. Working as a team, they swiftly and safely loaded the truck. It started raining, so they placed moving blankets on the ramp to prevent slipping. The stores were offloaded in the same way they were onloaded - safely and expeditiously. Nothing was damaged, scraped, or misplaced. One of the television sets had a broken stand/mount - they brought it to my attention immediately, I assured them it was pre-existing and nothing wrong. Very Concientious! I will have to move again into my next residence, and this company will be the one I call FIRST! Who says you cannot have all 3 sides of the triangle at once! Reliable Delivery moved us last week from Carmel Valley to La Jolla. We had two pick up locations, home and storage space, before arriving at the final destination at the Towers at Costa Verde. 1) They arrived exactly on time: We needed them to arrive at a particular time (instead of giving us a window) since we had to reserve the elevator at the Towers for a particular 3 hour window. They were very accommodating, very professional and arrived exactly at 9 a.m. 2) They treated our belongings with care and respect: They were careful to load the truck well - no crushing light boxes with heavy boxes, etc. I've used movers before that put heavy book boxes on top of boxes that had fragile written all over them - as if they were too zoned out to look at the boxes. I had been worried about our digital upright piano, but they were extremely careful with it. Reliable Delivery treated our belonging with care and respect. 3) They didn't waste time: They got to work right away, padding the furniture and taking inventory as they loaded the truck. There was no hanging around chatting or complaining or wasting time. They moved quickly and professionally. They were respectful of our time and money. 4) They never asked for a tip: These guys were amazingly hard workers and at no time did they even ask for a tip. I gave them one anyway, because they more than deserved it. I am so happy I found these guys and I'll definitely use them again, and recommend them to our friends and family. read more

RUN. Was quoted $300 on a move, at the end of the day my bill was $900... more than triple what I was initially quoted (and I had it in writing). Rather than reconciling the balance, the company simply charged the remaining on my credit card. Dreadful. REALLLLLLY? Obviously there is no rectification from this company, I will let BBB and CA regulating authorities handle it from here. Never again. Update 2) Oct 12, 16' Just received my certified letter back, at the address on Reliable's website, as non-deliverable, unable to forward. Update 3) Nov 13, 16' The BBB filed the complaint, unresolved. My review is very tardy, but still matters to me. Not a great experience, to say the least. To schedule our move with this company seemed difficult, we had to call many times to confirm a few days before the move and getting a return call, wow.... The movers showed up 45 minutes late, with no call to us to let us know of their timing that day. I spoke to "Dan, the owner" when scheduling, and that was our only communication. We told them that we have a lot of stuff in our house and moving 25 miles away. In my past experiences with moving, I told them to bring a big truck.... So I see a little truck pull up.. Our last movers brought a 26 foot truck and i told them this. I think they had a 15 foot truck. As soon as that happened, I should have sent my husband to uhaul with my brother to grab a bigger truck. All in all, half of our stuff fit in their little truck to North County.. So we had to do the rest of the move the next day ourselves and rent a budget truck with the help of some friends. Im not accusing the company of anything but after the move was finished we could not find our box of checks, so rather than call Dan and see if they knew where they were, we just called the bank and cancelled them. The move costed us a lot more than planned and we should have used a different company who was more communicative and can handle larger moves. read more

My sister and I recently used Reliable Delivery for a move from a two story home and into a one story home. Typically we have family and/or friends help us move but with Covid things are a little different now & decided to go with a moving company. SO GLAD we did & now we will go this route in the future as well. Collin & Ivan were our movers & honestly were amazing. They arrived when they said they would, I walked through the house to let them know what was going and what wasn't (as we were moving out of a house where other people lived as well so it wasn't ALL our furniture) & I didn't have to tell them twice. Collin made a list of what they were taking and took care of everything, no questions. They were quick & efficient, handled everything with care. Once we were at the new place, it was even quicker. They are paid hourly but they do not take advantage of that AT ALL. Collin would be bringing items in, couch, fire pit, dressers, while Ivan was putting furniture together. It was honestly the best experience I think a person could have for their first time using a moving company. I didn't know what to expect and I am beyond please. I used Reliable Movers again for my recent move and remembered i had found them on yelp. They were on time again and had all the necessary equipment to complete my move on schedule. From calling them to talking with Daniel the owner to the estimate to the end result i could not be happier with the price and quality of service i was provided before-during-and after my move. I had a disappointing and negative experience with this moving company. There were several issues that impacted my move. It's disappointing that despite a positive initial interaction with the manager, Josh, the actual moving process felt rushed and poorly coordinated. Despite the professionalism of the movers, who worked diligently and deservedly received a generous tip, the overall experience fell short. The moving truck provided was woefully undersized, unable to accommodate all of my belongings, resulting in a stressful and inefficient move. Additionally, the refusal to accommodate a reasonable request for a quick second trip to a nearby storage unit is concerning, especially when coupled with the subsequent offer for a higher rate the following day. Overall, while the movers themselves were commendable, the shortcomings in truck size and managerial demeanor left much to be desired. I was dissatisfied with this company. I hope future customers exaggerate the volume of belongings to ensure their moving needs are adequately met. read more

Reliable Delivery is by far the most professional efficient movers I have ever used. After a quick walkthrough they got to work wrapping furniture, tv's and moving over 40 boxes. I lived on the 3rd floor of an apartment building and while other movers in the past complained of the lack of elevators Reliable Delivery is a professional moving company and brought the tools needed to complete the job. They wrapped doors, covered walkways into the apartment and even hoisted my sectional couch down the side of the apartment building! WoW, these movers are truly the best in S.D. I had a horrible experience with the last company i tried to have move me. The movers never showed up and i had to rent a truck myself and haul it into my new place no fun there. I was referred to these movers by my friend who had just used there services. He had great things to say about them. I called and spoke to Dan the owner and was very helpful in getting me a very fair price for my move. The best part was i didn't have to touch a single thing. Reliable Delivery is JUST THAT... reliable in every way! Their staff is courteous, respectful and on time. When I moved in late January 2016, they quickly assessed the project and were diligent to get the job done with efficiency and care. I moved from a three-story home that had limited, narrow and gated access opening up into an alley --- it was not the easiest place to carve out a walkway for moving bulky items. This was no problem for the Reliable team! Also, I had a few delicate items (mainly art pieces and hand-made furniture) and was pleased to see that their standard operating procedure is to wrap pieces with blankets to protect fine wood and fragile items. Their truck and tools were in good working order and clean. They navigated the project perfectly. While I personally hope to never move again (!), I would highly recommend Reliable Delivery to anyone who has a move in their future. read more

Moving sucks. And lets face it, hiring movers is a stressful situation. Like most people, I've had a couple bad experiences in the past with shady moving outfits who give you one quote and then when your possessions are hijacked on a truck they discover additional "overages" fees. Fortunately my experience with Reliable Movers was the exact opposite of that scenario. They arrived right on time (15 minutes early actually), and immediately got to work. The movers were a couple young guys named Seth and Cody, who were polite, professional, and speedy. They took good care of my stuff, and nothing was broken or damaged. Better still, it was cheaper than I had expected! So overall a good experience and I recommend these guys for a non-stressful move. And like others have mentioned, hit the bank beforehand because the 10% cash discount will save you some bucks. read more

Have used many moving companies both large and small and never had such a great experience as I have just experienced with Daniel at Reliable movers. They are well named. In this move my belongings had to go to storage first and Daniel and his crew packed everything. Then when my apartment was ready moved me in. Everything arrived in tact. His crew were beyond helpful, courteous and efficient. One thing tht was unusual was that they called before the move to reassure they would be there and then called Again ten minutes before they arrived. The owner, Daniel, not only personally returns your call and provides follow up but he also came to the job and did the dirty work right along with his employees. In my opinion that is why this company is a step above the rest. All the staff were extremely nice and professional and offered cheaper alternatives or tips before I could even ask the question. The arrived right on time (calling first to give us a head up that they were on their way) and took great care in wrapping and transporting our belongings. There were three guys, including the owner, Dan, and all were hard working and polite. It was a pleasure interacting with them. Marlon and Gary were punctual and extremely professional. They treated my furniture and belongings as though they were their own. They were so fast and efficient in moving everything out. We recently moved out of Oceanside where we had lived the past 19 years so we had accumulated a lot of stuff for a family of 4. A team of 3 young men came into our home, they were professional and very skilled at their jobs. They paid careful consideration and care while handling our household goods and they did it in a very expedient manner. The next day was the actual move day and they arrived promptly at the prescribed time. They prepared all our goods and moved everything to their truck while also kindly helping us remove a couple of large furniture items that we were not taking.
