I recently hired Lux Conscious Cleaning to help us ready our house to put it up for sale. The…read moreowner, Melissa, assisted us in garage cleanout and organization, home organization, staging, outdoor cleaning, house cleaning and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! My husband is very territorial over his garage and was having a hard time letting things go. However, Melissa won him over within 30 mins. I came home from work and was singing her praises. Her ability to understand the emotional connection to material items is one of her most valuable gifts! Lux Conscious Cleaning home cleaning left my house spotless--every surface was gleaming, and even the hard-to-reach areas were thoroughly cleaned. My walk-in closet has never looked better; she helped me organize everything in a way that maximized space and was esthetically pleasing. But the standout service was her over all home organizational skills, knowledge about the real estate market and staging homes. Melissa is patient, kind, and hardworking. If you find that you need more help than you anticipated, like I did, Lux Conscious Cleaning will bring in reinforcements. Melissa schedules just enough time where you don't get mentally and physically burnt out but, feel good your accomplishments. I cannot recommend Lux Conscious Cleaning enough, from start to finish, they were professional, detail-oriented, and incredibly efficient. Simply amazing! Five stars!!

Issues with service: They do not use cleaning products. They use your dish soap on your kitchen counter to clean your counters and bathrooms - zero antibacterial cleaners used. I tried working with their team four times, gave clear and respectful feedback, and the owner called to cancel 30 minutes before, denied providing poor service, and threatened a customer. The other team member is great, he was always professional, but it's a bad sign when the CEO/owner doesn't respect or acknowledge poor cleaning services and has an ego about their years of experience instead of remedying the situation. She only changed her mind on canceling the service when she found out I was going to leave this review after 6 minutes of gaslighting me. Unprofessional, poor cleaning, DO NOT USE.

The communication was good, though I was a bit surprised not to receive confirmation the night before or a message confirming when the maids had finished. That being said, they did an excellent job with the cleaning, and the price was extremely reasonable. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that I had requested carpet cleaning but wasn't informed of the additional cost upfront. It turned out to be $150, which was fine in the end, but it would have been helpful to know in advance. Despite that, I would absolutely use them again based on the quality of their work and their affordability.
