We ended up at Relax Lounge & Grill because a friend from work invited us, and honestly I had no idea what to expect. The biggest surprise of the night was realizing that the lead singer of the live band was actually our friend. That made the whole experience even more special. The performance was incredible and the energy in the place was amazing. I only ordered drinks since we didn't plan ahead and just wanted to enjoy the music, so I can't really comment on the food yet. But the atmosphere alone made it worth it. I'm definitely coming back next time to try the menu as well. read more

Super nice staff, very roomy dining room and bar, and there is also a patio. Plentiful beers, tasty cocktails, and a great choice of eats are available. The restaurant plays a wide array of music, and it was a piped outside, as well. Plenty of parking, and it is centrally located. Thee women's bathroom was clean, and there are two stalls. I was very happy with both my cocktails and my burger (which was a special on a Tuesday). It was the rodeo burger, and it was cooked perfectly! Came here for night out with friends. We were seated in the open portion of the bar area. They had a few food specials and drinks specials that lasted the night. Food on what we ordered was better than average. Good enough that I would order the same things again. But also had enough to me on others. Service stayed on top of things are enter visit. Wings weren't great. Very dry and hard. Seems like they were air fried and I chose fried. Fries were great! Fresh and hot! Wings, not so much. They weren't meaty and very bare bones. I'm glad I wasn't turned away by all of the critical reviews because this place is an excellent spot! I'm in town for work and things here are a little slower than I'm used to. The bars close early and many don't have much variety when it comes to drinks. They've got 24 beers on draft here though, and I really enjoyed the 11/30 ChambersBurger. If you haven't had a burger with mozzarella sticks in it yet, you need to give it a shot. The service was excellent too. I sat at the bar and the bartender was polite and attentive. I couldn't really ask for much more, aside from maybe a cocktail program, and it was a bit noisy. I won't take any stars away for the noise though, especially considering how many stars they've been robbed of by other reviewers. read more

This place was OK at best. They were hyped up by several of the local people that I had met around the town and it was a letdown. They are a Greek restaurant and I was hoping to get an awesome Gyro but I wouldn't even put it up against Arby's Gyro. The menu is big, pricey and just ok. It's a sports bar and it seems like maybe a club vibe inside. I think it's a fun place to go grab some drinks but I don't know that I would go back there for their food. Relax Lounge is a separate little nook with a side entrance attached to Orchard Restaurant. I'm certain it's the same owner/manager. My husband and I were leaving the gym last night and asking one another that age old question, "what are we having for dinner?" We have been making a real effort to try the local spots in town and settled on Relax, because they advertised an expansive list of beers. When we arrived the chalkboard sign advised us to seat ourselves, which was okay. A server promptly came up to us offered drinks AND told us the specials (which I appreciate). Turns out the beer list is not that long, but it is diverse with several local choices. The menu is good old American Pub fare. We decided to try the fried calamari and something called Crab Balls to start. The crab balls were little mini circular crab cakes. Tasty, fresh from the grease and yummy. The calamari was crisp and perfectly fried (theme here warm comfort staples). Hubby chose chicken Philly steak sandwich and sweet potato fries, I went with the veggie burger and waffle fries. No surprises here, but again it was good, it was hot, it was perfect bar food. Also, the Moscow Mules I drank were well made and he like the Lancaster Strawberry ale he tried. It was a decent crowd buzzy, but not excessively loud. Several TV's lined the walls around the bar area. i went there and got the filet mignon and shrimp scampi, the filet mignon was over cooked very dry and unappetizing, the shrimp scampi first of all was 13$ for 3 pieces of shrimp that's ridiculous definitely do not recommend this place better off eating at applebees,terrible. read more

If you want a great meal, this isn't the place. Ordered 3 apps; the "big" meatball, crab dip, and charcuterie board. Nothing was good. Meatball was dense, 2 oz max, and was $13. Charcuterie was skimpy and nothing special. Crab dib very cheesy but lacking crab. My entree, the NY Strip was definitely not "choice" grade (likely "select" grade), chewy and overpriced. It was also in a shape I've never seen before; about 1 inch at its widest point. Drinks were good but I had beer! Service ok but unable to defend such bad food. When I asked what made the meatball worth $13, the server replied, "I'm wondering the same thing." Very sad........ read more

One of the worst meals I've ever had out at a restaurant. Relax has gone down hill. Most of their food is fried, frozen food. We got "authentic" spanakopita and being that the owners are Greek, I expected them not to be frozen out of a box. We also got the pretzels with mustard and beer cheese. The pretzels came out of a frozen box, the mustard was just jarred mustard and the "beer" cheese was literally orange nacho cheese. My "honey hot" wings were Texas Pete and a drizzle of honey with barely any sauce. Very disappointing. read more

Have eaten here many times but tonight we could not get any service. After being seated by the hostess we sat for over 15 minutes and finally had to go ask for someone to wait on us. Our server was great once she recognized that she had a table. As we were finishing up, the same thing happened to a guy sitting near us. He got sick of it, after being bypassed many times by other servers who ignored his table. He decided to leave. This restaurant needs to step it up. read more

I'd rate a 3 star because it's hit or miss for service and the atmosphere. Sometimes they start playing loud music at 7PM so loud you can't talk at dinner & drinks with friends. I usually have a good experience at Relax but I can't say the same for last night. My friend and I were there for the all you can eat shrimp and I was sick in the bathroom before I could even leave the restaurant. I didn't think much of it until my friend couldn't even make it home without having to stop somewhere because she was sick as well. I'm not sure if their shrimp was bad or their kitchen staff was not very clean either way I'm extremely disappointed and I will never eat here again. read more

I've been a customer for years here. The menu and service have become so poor, my recent experience will lead me to avoid a visit in the future... I think the only thing they can get right is the wings. $12 for bacon wrapped scallops, two.. TWO scallops. $14 capresi salad, a slice of tomato and a slice of mozzarella. Wrong food brought to table, you'll wait too long to request a correction so might as well just eat it no matter how overcooked it is. It's unfortunate that a chain restaurant can do better than an independent place that used to be better but that's how it is unfortunately. Spend money somewhere else unless you want beer and wings. New to the area and thought I'd try this place out. Food was average. Waitress was nice. Drinks were below average. Bartenders were cocky, rude and not customer friendly at all. Heard them making negative comments about customers and rolling their eyes to each other with their backs turned. The manager was a young guy playing on his phone for most of the night, not to mention he was wearing a hat indoors. Guess proper etiquette isn't part of the training here. Will not be back.
