Great food. We had a burger and a cheesesteak. Both amazing. We had several Oktoberfest's. Very good. This is our second time coming here. Same seats and everything. Different employees but they are good at their jobs

Everything about GearHouse is amazing. The food is creative and delicious and the rotating menu never disappoints. If you are looking for brunch you should run, don't walk, to GH. The beer and cocktails?! Fantastic. The classic libations are on point and the seasonal releases are always creative and refreshing. If the Farm-a-Rita is on the menu, try it! You won't regret it. The live music is thoughtfully curated and a welcome addition to Chambersburg. Thank you for providing music in a welcoming and beautiful atmosphere (be it inside or out!). GearHouse is not only all of these things but in addition is a valuable asset to a small, but growing, area. The staff are caring and good at what they do and the owners love not only their patrons but the community at large and it is apparent.

Wow! Felt the good vibes at the GearHouse Brewing. Spacious area for parking. Even though the restaurant looked packed, parking wasn't cramped. Parking in front and back. GearHouse offered inside and outside dining. The ambiance was fun! People chatted, laughed and ate. We ordered our food and sat outside. Servers were very attentive. We were told that our drinks would be set at the end of bar that we picked up. The only problem was that I was engaged in conversation it was kind of pain to keep peeking in the window. Servers delivered the food and other drinks then on. In fact they were attentive. .

A tasty hop-fixiated before what should be an awesome lunch!

Awesome brunch experience! We had the huevos rancheros and breakfast tacos (chorizo) with chorizo hash. Very delicious! There were more items on the menu we wanted to try. Kids got a basic waffle and eggs (off menu but they're happy to do it). Definitely check this place out for an awesome brunch with your family/friends.

Stopped in from a recommendation from a friend & glad that we did!! We did a flight of their sour beers: Tropical Taste Sour, Don't Cry Joe!, Solidago Shandy, Smashing Pumpkins & we all agreed that the Shandy was the best. We as had the Czech Dunkel Lager and Canary in the Coal Mine... & the Czech was far superior!! For lunch we had the fried brussel sprouts appetizer, the Wagyu steak & cheese, the Joey Capicola & the Szechuan Bang Bang Chicken. Everything was really tasty!! Definitely not just 'bar food' as one reviewer said!!

(3 Stars = A-OK) So I still haven't found a beer I enjoy here, but now they have bunch and I checked that out. I kept hearing, "it's amazing" and "omg it's soooooo good" and "omg gearhouse has brunch - it's awesome!". I'm so tired of the words "amazing" and "awesome"...there is NOTHING wrong with something just being "good" or "okay". With further discussion, it was said to me that GH is just okay, but it's the only place in town that offers "brunch" so that's what makes is amazing...(There are plenty of breakfast places in the area, but I think people are looking for something trendy). With that said, Gearhouse Brunch is good. I ordered the chicken and waffles with "hash brownS". I had a little issue with the menu because on the "sides" section it says "hash brownS". Personally, when I think hash brownS I think shredded potato...not a pre-frozen potato patty that I can fry myself. So it was a hash brown patty like McDonald's rather than shredded hash browns. The chicken was the best part of the meal. Crispy, juicy, and flavorful. They nailed it. The waffle was so bland. It looked so promising! The texture was very airy on the inside with some crispiness on the outside. There was no depth to it. Chicken and Waffle is sweet and savory dish..there was no sweet. The waffle was lacking in complimenting the delicious chicken. The hash brown...I'm not discussing that... -_- The Chicken and Waffles were drizzled in what tasted like Frank's Red Hot Sauce with Maple Syrup?.. I think I would have preferred this on the side...or maybe a whole different sauce entirely....like...a maple honey mustard sauce. Again, I thought the waffle needed help - so much potential though! My friend ordered the French toast. It was 3 pieces of baguette with some soggy bacon on the side. This was $9. I felt it was missing something. Like Fruit or maybe a special like a "free" mimosa with 3 pieces of baguette bread and bacon for $9. I did not think it was worth $9. Should've been $6-$7. The bloody Mary was alright. $8 was pretty steep. Service was very slow. I don't think they had enough staff to handle the brunch rush. Although service was slow, it was very friendly! Our bartender was energetic and never skipped a beat. He was great. I'm still unsure if I wait in line for brunch or sit down. I saw people doing both. Someone recommended the $14 Grant Street Nasty so I'll have to try that next time. For $14, I'm hoping it's filling and delicious.

Probably the best breakfast burger I've ever had. GearHouse has a cool, open environment. The prices are not bad and their merch is top notch. I want to return here again, the next time we're in the area.

We came in to get drinks to go with our food (we got food from the food truck outside "Firebox"). The food from Firebox was good and it was a generous portion for the price. The drink options that were not beer were limited, and half of those options on the menu weren't available. My partner got the berry chocolate stout and said it was "pretty good". We hoped to sit outside, but the only available table had broken glass all over it from a busted door. It does have convenient parking and I liked the industrial decor. The service was good and the lady was very nice. One thing I will point out is that one of our glasses had pink lipstick on it from a previous customer. But if you only want beer and a place to chill - it might be just right for you.

I also appreciate the ample outdoor seating available. Always a big plus for me, even if the outdoor area is really just tables set up on the sidewalk overlooking the parking lot - as it is in this case. The service was fine. It wasn't crazy busy there but the bartender had a little edge to her like we were more on an annoyance than a patron. They have a refill club where you can buy a mug and get your name printed on it with discounted refills. Again I appreciate that kind of thing, but the bartender seemed way more interested in some of the regulars than us. Just the vibe she gave off that night I guess. And lastly the beer...it's solid. Not great, but solid. Lots of darker beers which is fine for me personally, but the darks outnumbered the IPAs, pilsners, etc the night we were there. I'd expect a little more variety. Still, it's good enough that I'd go back next time I'm in Cumberland, but not so good that I'd make a special trip out of my way. My scale: 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive up to 30 minutes just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

Fenced in outdoor space, corn hole, food, drinks, live music, and recommended by a friend. And technically it had all of those things! And yet somehow, those things were generally only okay. First, music was inside and it was incredibly loud. So we go outside which was just.... A mess. Like, we got mustard on our clothes from an unclean table; food and napkin scraps all stuck in the grass everywhere you looked. Then, the service outside is through a window, which in itself is no problem. The issue is that it was single server on a Friday night and the line took a really long time. The food and drinks we did get, we enjoyed. Based on the other factors, I am unsure that I would make it a point to stop here when back in the area.

More kind and accommodating on the phone than just about any restaurant I've ever called. We came in like a half hour early, over the course of 20 minutes, cause we were traveling in multiple vehicles from ways away... I called ahead, but they said it was no problem at all. They were super helpful, I got drinks started while the rest of the party arrived. Ordered a bunch of appetizers... Mozzarella, sweet potato, waffle, fries, calamari... With like three different dipping sauces. Each of those was fantastic. Folks ordered burgers, chicken, cheesesteaks, traditional fair, like cottage pie, etc. Quantities were massive. Food was tasty. Many to go boxes were provided. The desserts were a surprise... I got my bread pudding to go. And then a few people got the lava cake and shared it. Great beer selection. Great cocktail selection. Great music on the speakers... At least I thought so, the Young'ns weren't as impressed with the sing-along Classics.
