Showed up at 5:30 for a 50 minute feet and 50 minute body massage. My masseuse was attentive and caring, asked if I was okay several times when my body language changed. He was great! The part that isn't so great - they are an offshoot of an old business... Feet Retreat. They still have an operating website under that name (https://www.feetretreatspa.com) which shows different prices for the longer services offered. Not cool. Don't advertise that you've moved when you've become a completely new/separate business. Get rid of the old website or update it... The place is clean, cozy and comfortable for massage. The guy working the desk was super friendly. A 15% tip is included in your total so remember that upon checkout. Would I go here again? Honestly, I don't know. The price is an issue for me when you can get the same service for less money elsewhere. Time will tell.

I am leaving this one-star review because this situation has been unresolved since March…read more I went to Massage Etoile for what I was told would be a full-body massage. I paid approximately $100 expecting a complete service. Unfortunately, the massage I received was extremely disappointing and did not match what I paid for. The massage only focused on my neck and shoulders. My lower back, mid-back, legs, stomach, arms, hands, and feet were either not addressed or barely touched. I specifically asked for more pressure, but my request was not followed. I left feeling like I did not receive the full-body massage I paid for. Out of habit, I initially left a $15 tip, but after reflecting on the experience, I requested that the tip be returned because I was so dissatisfied with the service. I also requested a refund because the service I paid for was not provided. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the manager repeatedly contacted me and threatened to call the police because I disputed the charge. I paid for a service that I believe I did not receive, and I was disappointed with how my complaint was handled. My bank initially credited me the $99 while investigating the dispute, but the matter was ultimately not resolved in my favor, and I am now responsible for repaying that amount. This means I am paying for a service that I feel I never received. What was most frustrating was the lack of professionalism and the way my concerns were handled. I later went to another massage location the same day and received the full-body massage experience I originally expected. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. Customers deserve to receive the service they pay for and to have complaints handled respectfully. I was ripped off.

Filled out the form with not a lot of requests but had some troubles with my shoulders. Sunny was my therapist and did check in with me even when I didn't say anything. It's a spa, waiting area at the entrance, it's dimly lit, soft music playing, and the rooms are private. I don't need much more than that. I was offered tea (barley I believe) and a man brought out a bucket of warm water for me to soak my feet while I waited in the lobby. Not sure the purpose of the foot soak, but I appreciated it. There's also a short form you complete to indicate how much pressure you'd like, areas to avoid or focus on (if any), & preferred oils (for massages that include oil - shiatsu does not). After a brief wait I went back to the room and so began the best shiatsu massage of my life. The first time I had shiatsu I had no clue what I was about to experience, several later and this is my preferred massage. Very firm, lots of pressure, and knees in my back to get all of the tension put of my body. I scheduled for 60 minutes and it was so satisfying I added 30 minutes when he asked if I wanted to extend the session. Love this place, I will be returning for future shiatsu massages and maybe try the thai massage. Also, parking is free in the garage adjacent to the spa. However, it's only one level and I had to circle at least 3 times to catch somebody leaving. I'm sure this varies depending on the time of day, but I'll probably just pay to park on the street out front. There's a 3% charge if using a debit or credit card, but they offer payment by a few other methods to avoid the charge (Zelle). Which was easy to pay and avoid the charge.

I had run 48.6 miles (5k/10k/Half Marathon/Marathon) in four days, and was feeling the strain my muscles had gone through. I was able to get in after work. Eileen asked what I'd done to torture myself, and already had an idea what hurt. A few more questions, and a quick tour of the offices, she began digging out the pain and suffering that had my muscles knotted up. It's not a soft music/incense/spa day experience, but does dig out the knots in my glutes, quads, and hamstrings. Just walking out the door I felt infinitely better, and today the recovery improves.

The 90 minutes went by quickly, and she did an excellent job balancing her time and attention so that my whole body felt cared for. The scalp massage at the end was especially nice and even helped relax my jaw muscles, which I didn't realize were tense! TLDR: HORRIBLE customer service. Take your hard-earned dollars elsewhere…read more We have been loyal customers of this place for years, since we are in this shopping strip all the time. We will NEVER be back based on our recent experience. A friend of ours, who was also regular customer here since we told her about it, bought my husband a gift certificate for $100. It was a thank you gift for him for helping her move. Unfortunately, shortly after getting the gift, my husband had to head out of town to care for his mother (who is battling cancer). After spending most of that month caring for her, he returned home for a weekend and I tried to book an appointment for him using his gift certificate. The woman working there said that the gift certificate was only valid for 30 days (and 35 days had passed). I explained the situation my husband had been in, and that he had been unable to use the certificate until now. (What kind of business only gives 30 days to redeem a $100 gift certificate?!?) Anyway, the woman there did not care at all about the circumstances, maintaining that the gift certificate had "expired!!" and they had "new management!" (After 35 days? Ummm ok). I asked for the owner to call me to discuss this situation, but I never received a call. The name for this business is ironic. Yes, "they won" my friend's hard earned $100 and gave NOTHING in exchange for it, a mere 35 days later. My friend works as a nanny, and I'm sad that she lost her money to a business with such poor business practices. It would have cost them nothing to honor this gift certificate 35 days later. Instead, they have lost thousands of dollars of future revenue from us and from everyone we have warned away from this place. If this is how they treat their loyal customers, they won't be "winning" for long. I am giving two stars only because the massages here are decent. However, the people who run it are obviously not.
