I have been coming to Regis salon for 5 years now. I fly over from the east coast (Washington D.C.) and get my hair cut only by Juliette. I just learned that the management has changed the policy and now stylists that are stationed at other salons (she is based out of Bremerton) cannot cut hair at the Northgate salon. This is a total shame. You just lost one of your best assets and all of my business. read more

I am giving this place 1 star because the lady was nice. But she waxed my eyebrows Monday morning October 26th and if you are a female or male and been trying to grow your eyebrows out, it take forever to grow them!! Well I decided to go get them cleaned up, and well goodbye eyebrows :( I almost cried my eyebrows are ruined!! She made them completely uneven and one is way thinner than the other and different shapes. I am so sad! I will never be going back again and I even tipped her! Ugh what a horrible experience! DO NOT GO HERE! I've been here a few times and had decent to good stylists - I really liked Stephen. But my last experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be going back. I called to make a same-day appointment, and with some difficulty, was able to get through and get in for a cut. I'm a pretty simple guy with a pretty simple haircut. The cut itself was fine, some quick clippers and a little scissors to refine and done quickly. My issue was the cost. When I got to the register, Majid charged me $44. I considered a normal cut at this chain to be $26, 28, maybe $32 for a guy. But $44 for a simple men's cut with clippers when the stylist didn't even offer to shampoo afterward?! Absolutely HORRIBLE. Especially considering he didn't even say anything about stylist level over the phone or in person. On top of it, the guy told me that his previous client had been in for a 4-hour foil/dye job and HATED it at the end. Explain to me how a stylist who pisses off two customers can justify charging a king's ransom for a simple haircut?! I won't be returning to these extortionists. read more

This location does not do a good job on short hair. If you want a short, layered hairstyle, you're going to look bad. If you just want a trim of your long hair, you might look okay. It's not really a safe bet. I don't recommend going here. read more

if i could give this place 0 stars i would, don't go there if you want to leave your house without being mortified! My hair is in a complete mess i can't tie it up or clip it up! it is all uneven and different lengths! Tracy cut it and apart from doing a terrible job and taking 40 minutes to blow-dry it after a 2 minute cute she was rude and insulting too. you would have better luck cutting your own hair i wish i had! read more

I got my haircut yesterday by Stephen. This was my first time ever with a male hair dresser. And he did not disappoint! I was grateful that we were on the same page of how I wanted my hair trimmed. I also told him that I hate getting my haircut because I feel like it's a chore. He was able to get me in and get me out as quickly as possible, which is the way I like. I went to Regis salon early today! I'm about to go on a trip to California and decided very last minute that I wanted a cut and color before heading off. I called Regis after seeing how well they did my friends hair and was pleasantly surprised that they were able to fit me in on such short notice. I head in and meet some of the nicest, most welcoming, and friendly people before sitting down for my cut and color. I got my hair done by Kelly who is relatively new to the salon (not new to doing hair, just to the particular location) and she did a phenomenal job. My hair is a little bit difficult to color sometimes as I am a natural redhead, and Kelly was very attentive to all of my concerns and gave me complete individualized attention from the second I walked in the door. Everyone at this salon is so welcoming and they are hilarious!! I would definitely recommend coming here and it is my new go to place!! read more

I am so happy with my hair! I was referred to come here last minute-they got me in at the perfect time and even when I showed up early Amber was able to take me. My color turned out so fabulous; it looks almost natural but there's enough contrast from the foils and all over hair color to make it obvious that I had it done. That's the whole point of getting your hair colored! Amber was really speedy but took her time to make sure the color and cut was exactly what I wanted. I love stylists who actually pay attention to the clock and don't fuss around! I just got a trim since I'm growing my hair out but my hair is so thick that it needs special treatment. Amber used a technique I had never seen before but it worked so great; all the layers are even and my hair feels a lot lighter. I've been a stylist for a year now and have gotten a chance to work in a couple different salons (which were very high end) besides the dated decor of Regis Salon, their stylists set the bar high. read more

Best hair cut I have had in awhile, Amber was great and took her time to make my cut perfect.

Caitlin did a fabulous job on my trim and added some life to my hair. She took her time, and made sure it was perfect. She is absolutely a perfectionist maybe even as much as I am. I have definitely found my new hair stylist. It was 46 for the trim and layers. When I have some more money I will be getting a dye from her also. I'm a regular customer at Regis. But last month I went in for a trim and Helen was the lady that cut my hair, I was really nervous and I had a bad feeling, guess what? I was right. I just wanted a trim and my hair was so uneven, the cut is horrible, I told her it was uneven and she said "no it's not you just can't see it, you're not seeing it right" wtf? it looks so bad that every time i have my hair down someone points out how uneven my haircut is and why one side is alot shorter than the other..now I put my hair in a bun until it gets long enough for me to cut and fix it..I've been waiting 6 months for my hair to get long enough for me to get a nice trim and then this happens...MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GET HELEN, she's also very unprofessional. I had a 10% and she wouldn't let me use it..? Yeah just a big NO NO. And while she was cutting my hair she always kept leaving like get the job done first!!! I would only give this a 2 star because the salon itself isn't bad but Helen ruined it for me and I'm honestly going to find a different salon. read more

It's taken years but I finally found a hairstylist that knows how to cut my course, dense hair. Marjorie is very intuitive and really listens to you. I have a hard time explaining what I want with my hair and she did a perfect job. She is very nice and talkative and gives an amazing scalp massage during the shampoo/conditioning. She is also talented in the color department. I have a very specific long term goal and she has a plan to get my hair to the color I want. 5 stars for her all the way! I rate the salon as a whole 4 stars because you do have to shop around in there to get the right person. It's true that the stylists vary in their experience and prices and that can be annoying when you first start going here. Basically if you get a bad hair cut from one person, don't write off the whole salon. There could be a gem in there like Marjorie! read more

I've been going to Regis for almost a year now, and I have never been disappointed. I get my hair cut and colored there regularly (since I'm a brunette gone red-head and roots are always a problem). I always book Michelle whenever I need an appointment. Though I usually just get my roots touched up, about every other time I come in I get my color freshened up, and I am always amazed with the results. Whenever she refreshes my color she always picks a slightly different shade which keeps my hair looking new and keeps me from getting bored. Lately I've been shifting to a more purple-red, which is such a fun look! They have such a beautiful variety of colors at this salon, especially if you're planning to go red. I haven't had a cut from anyone else, but the rest of the staff seems good as well. Wesley is the bestley! This girl can foil and is mean with a flat iron!!! I walked in randomly and was placed with her and she listens well and had great suggestions. We did a partial foil and all over color; I couldn't be happier!!!! After my amazing color and foil that made my skin look amazing. We then consulted on a cut that would work for me. All things were considered like how much time I want to spend, what I am comfortable doing, and so I could repeat it...AND I DO! The cut feels great the color amazing! I have naturally curly hair and this look I can wear curly or straight. I have big loose curls but she showed me some techniques to play up my curls and also to flat iron like a pro...like her! I couldnt help calling the store back, my hair wasnt in any shape that i could even ride it out, i was two weeks from a mullet. The manager Jewel got me in to see what she could do about the cut and I thought for sure we were going to have to take it down to a pixie to get it functional again. Jewel was a savior, she assured me we didnt have to cut it up to match, that we could blend in the choppy layers and even out the back and sides to make it something that would only take a month or two to grow out into the haircut i originally asked for. She did an amazing job cleaning me up and when i walked out of there I felt SO much better. the haircut looks and feels sooooo much better... i'm not the most picky person when it comes to my hair but I know when things arent right and Jewel was able to get things back on track. I would give negative stars to this place if I could! This is not my normal hair place (thank goodness!!!) but I booked an appointment here for a blow dry and styling appointment and I told them that I would be short on time and therefore would need them to be as ontime as possible. To make a long story short, they kept me waiting over 25 minutes. When yet another person came over to tell me 5 more minutes I finally left. I knew I wouldn't have enough time. I am furious that I pre-booked an appointment and am now left to style my own hair. Do NOT go here if it's an important appointment. They don't honor appointments and you won't be able to count on them being prompt or friendly. They seemed pretty apathetic about the whole thing. They'll never get business from me again. read more

The terrible management, and customer service soured me on this place for good. I showed up for my appointment with Amber only to be told that I didn't have an appointment booked. I wasn't wrong, either, since I was holding a card from Regis Salon with Amber's name at the designated time and date. Amber was also apparently late, as she was stuck in traffic. I spoke with the manager (Maia?) and she said that she would cut my hair. However, she was more experienced and charged more than Amber. She did an OK job, I guess, but was no better than Amber. The proper thing to do would have been to eat the difference and make a customer happy and insure that they return. Instead, she charged me extra and then gave me a 25% off card for my next appointment, which I made out of politeness and then cancelled because I'm not rewarding that crappy treatment. read more

You know that urge you get when MUST CUT YOUR HAIR. That was me today. I don't have a complicated 'do' that needs to be dyed, colored or highlighted. I just need some layers cleaned up so I don't feel like a Yeti. I had a coupon for 20% off at Regis that I got when I went there to buy some Moroccan Oil products in December,but learned I could only use it with the stylist that gave it to me. She is out until next week. Did I mention I MUST CUT MY HAIR? I called Ulta. Booked. Didn't want to spend a lot of money so I didn't call Gene Juarez. So back to Regis I went. Talked to a very nice man; got an appointment for the afternoon. Got a great shampoo, conditioning and cut for $31 courtesy of Diane. The salon has seen better days and may not have the polish of your other salons, so if you're looking for a spa-like atmosphere, don't go here. But, if you want a great haircut for a great price with nice folks, then by all means go to Regis. read more

The first time I went to this salon I was happy. I went back several times, and each time was worse than the time before. The final time I went, about 6 months ago, I left looking like h-ll and was charged $200 for it. This was after having 3 different stylists work on my hair over a 3 hour period (while the stylist I was booked with ran from chair-to-chair & client-to-client). Absolutely no individual attention. I think they assumed that since I had returned several times that I would always return, so customer service went down the drain while prices went up.
