Amazing service, drinks, and food. Love the vibe. Laid back, quiet, not super loud or bright. Definitely a great date night spot!

This was my first time at this restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's fairly cute and in a retro style. With retro pictures on the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitresses were lovely. They explained everything and they were very kind. We noticed them chatting with other people at other tables throughout our meal.. I ordered the chicken and waffles and I am sad to say that the chicken was very bland and the waffle was downright dry. My daughter had an egg dish our waitress recommended to her and she said it was absolutely delicious. So I just may have chosen badly that day. Still, the place is cute and I would definitely give it a second try ordering something recommended by one of the waitresses.

If you ever patronized the previous restaurant occupying this space, you'll be blown away by the transformation Regina's has wrought. Think diner, but with sophistication and a bit of playful swagger. The menu is rather small, but offers high-quality choices that delight and satisfy. Penny Cup, in my view some of the finest coffee anywhere, is featured. Service is attentive and friendly.

We tried Regina's on a rainy week day and easily found a seat. The waiter was extremely pleasant and competent. The pink interior walls are a bit jarring but the banquet was quite comfy and welcoming. Honestly one of the best biscuits I've ever had. It came loaded with bacon, scrambled egg, and gooey cheese. My husband had the biscuit with perfectly seasoned gravy. The local roasted coffee was also delightful. This was a perfect diner meal, and we will definitely be back and may try a lunch sammy next time.

The Hot Honey Chicken sandwich was to die for!! Delicious biscuits and gravy as well. Highly recommend dining here. To top it all off, the service was the best part. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The chef even came out to see how we enjoyed everything. We may only be in town for 3 days, but we will be returning again tomorrow to try another dish. Day 2: We just had to return and we were Not disappointed at all!! Sarah as per yesterday and I'm sure as always, was an absolute delight. The vibe on a Sunday morning was a fun and positive energy that we left with. Breakfast was great!!

Wonderful egg and cheese biscuit with delicious, perfectly prepared fries.

Since we got there so early, we had ordered from their cafe and their lattes were nice to sip on while walking through their edible garden! For starter, I got the smoked salmon hash, and that was filling enough and very fresh! I had ordered their Philly cheese steak with auju and it was sooooo filling, I love a hearty breakfast, but I could only finish one half. I ordered their local sausage patty and it was nice and Smokey and savory! The grits were chunky and cheesy which I really enjoyed, everything was great! Love it! My partner ordered a classic breakfast and their maple bacon is sooooooooo good, I told him he needed to learn to make it because I want more! Their fruits seemed home grown and I really appreciate their decor of sexy veggies on the way! Such a cool place to eat and hang out!

The best falafel (a daily Benedict special) and that's saying something given I've eaten falafels in Israel, Turkey and NYC. The bed of arugula and hollondaise sauce was chef's kiss. My honey is a meat and potatoe dude and the burger he had was sumptuous. A hint of horseradish (he thinks) with the smoky bacon and perfect seasoned fries. In summary... total gastronomic taste gasm. The menu is Southern creative. We started with the biscuits and gravy appetizer which might have been a mistake because I was almost too full for my entree after sampling it. The signature gravy was heavenly! We scooped it up with our forks when we ran out of biscuit. The coffee is excellent and we all enjoyed the fresh squeezed juice. (Those are important touches for breakfast.) the service is super friendly. Maybe could use a more extensive child's menu. My older son eats like a little adult but my younger kid is a typical "kid" eater. Although he loved his waffles and the picture provided for coloring. I found Chestnut on Yelp and decided to wander in. The space has this elevated modern rustic vibe with a southern twist and a little bit of sass. They even sell shirts that say neither hoity nor toity, which cracked me up. Honestly, the atmosphere was great, but our waitress was the real star. She was absolutely phenomenal and looked after us perfectly. My palate was pretty fried, so I started with a Bloody Mary to wake up. Truth be told, it was just okay. The house mix had an odd flavor that nobody at the table could quite identify, and it seriously lacked spice. It was just kinda bland. I noticed a bottle of Firewalker hot sauce on the table, and splashing that in helped a little bit. After that, I transitioned to a mimosa. You really cannot mess up a mimosa too much, and it was a solid, reliable second drink. For the main event, I ordered the southern chicken and waffles. This came with a fried chicken breast sitting on golden malted waffles, smothered in sausage gravy, and drizzled with chipotle honey. It was a really great dish. The kitchen did a solid job with the fry on the chicken, and the gravy had a nice flavor. It leaned a little on the sweet side because of the honey, but it was not totally overdone. The real sleeper hit of the morning, though, was the side of cheesy grits. Those grits were absolute heaven. They were incredibly creamy and perfectly seasoned. If you go, you have to order them. Chestnut is in a great location, and despite the weak Bloody Mary, it was a stellar visit.
