Everything we ordered was good and clearly well made, but nothing really stood out as something I'd go out of my way to come back for again and again. The chocolate chip cookie was the most memorable item, but not necessarily in the way I expected. It leans heavily into a salted dark chocolate flavor profile. If you close your eyes, it almost feels more like eating a salted dark chocolate bar than a traditional cookie. If that's your thing, you'll probably love it. Personally, I tend to look for a little more balance between the sweetness, chocolate, and salt in a cookie. Overall, a nice stop for pastries while walking around Asheville, but nothing that quite pulled me back for repeat visits.

SCW thought her reuben was "kick ass good", I agreed as I had a couple bites. My spicy Philly was good, the star of the show for me was the buffalo cauliflower bites. When he asked me if I could bring some bacon, I panicked but still said I would. Then I saw a review saying there was a market full of cute butchers here AND they had good meat. The customer service was excellent and I love all of the Knick knacks. Oh, and those gentlemen could sell ice to Eskimos with those smiles, but I'm glad they're selling meat because I have use for that. If my son-in-law doesn't like the bacon, I'll come back with an update (but I doubt it). The space reminds me of being back home going to get cuts with my grandmother
