I'm from the South. I am no authority on pizza, by any means. My opinion is that Boston has better pie than NYC. I also love a Detroit style pizza. So there's some context. And here's the buried lead: Regina Pizzeria has the best pizza I've ever had. It's the dough. And it's the sauce. I'm a meat enthusiast. My favorite desert may be jerky. So I ordered the slice with a bunch of meat on it. And it was damned good. The Scientist, my beloved wife and graduate of Suffolk, knew better. I heard "I'm basic" when she ordered the simple slice of cheese. Once I had a bite, and I did not...absolutely did not...tell her that the meaning I came to understand from her basic order was "I've done this before, and I know what I am doing, and you're about to pass up the best slice of pizza ever so you can have texture contrast offered by pepperoni and sausage rather than God's way of saying He loves us and wants us to be happy via crispy, cheesy perfection". Ok, self-inventory and didactic admission over. Message: get a slice of the cheese. You won't find anywhere to sit down if it's winter. Seating is a nightmare inside Faneuil Hall. You just got a slice from a stand, and if Camus is right and hell is actually is other people, inside the crowded touristy environs of colonial downtown Boston trappings, but nonetheless, cheese slice on plate, you've picked one hell of a last meal. Hand down all time favorite pizza in New England. It's very thin crust, sometimes a little too much crust around the edges, but they have three types of flavored oil at this original location, so problem solved. I really love these and wish they were sold everywhere, other locations are also excellent (usually malls) & yes we will pull off highway to get a fix. The Boston location has a tight space, but who cares when the pizza is perfect. Everyone we've taken here loves it too. Sausage isn't my thing, but it's a hit with sausage lovers. Darn good pizza! I had extra cheese and chicken Uber Eats delivered. The delivery sucked and took an hour and a half to process so I didn't exactly get it hot and fresh. However, the flavor and the texture the pizza was very good and I'm glad I had to have a few slice slices. read more

Okay first off the marketplace on a Sunday afternoon is completely crazy! Although it is nice to have all of those options it needs to be a bit wider for my liking. But as crazy as it was the line moves and we got our food pretty quickly. Now for the slice. I'm from Chicago and love pizza, and I'm not taking about Chicago style, so I like to try pizza from other areas. A friend from Boston had recommended Regina, and thank god they did. This was a phenomenal slice! I had a spinach and mushroom slice while the rest of the family did pepperoni, but the star was that crust. It was crispy and firm, and the sauce was perfect. It was a great slice, so good that we went back the next day for another one. In the market so probably not the best experience. Would have been nice to sit at their sit downs. But ordered 3 slices. 2 peps 1 cheese. With all the people they still managed to pump out great zaaa. The market is fun but service is just ok. They don't even look you in the eyes. But overall the basic cheese was fresh cheesy and had a decent flop with perfect crust. The pepp was amazing but slightly too greasy. Had to degrease it a bit with a fold. Still rock solid. Was recommended Regina's and it did not disappoint! We went in the market so it was a bit busy but the service was fast so we didn't wait long at all. We got a BBQ chicken and Margherita slice. $5.50 slices is also a great deal nowadays for a good sized slice! The BBQ chicken was easily the winner, it was so delicious!!! The margherita was unfortunately cold, so it wasn't the best but definitely had potential. The market doesn't have much seating, so we stood outside and eat which was fine. The lady who ordered right next to me was handed basically a cold pizza Clive but they put mine in the oven. Located inside Faneuil Hall food hall, I realized it is now my favorite pizza flavored ever - Rosemary Ham Bianco. It has basil, cheese, big pieces of Canadian bacon, and yes, a whole slice of pineapple on a pizza! The taste was delicious, I just wish it was in the oven a little longer because I prefer a crunchier crust personally. This Regina Pizzeria is inside the Quincy Market. I had heard really good things about their pizza and wanted to try it but I was left disappointed. The pizza was a little harder and crunchy than I like and very salty! I also ordered the 2 slices of pizza and a drink value meal and it was still $12. I get that it is in a touristy place and prices are usually higher, but it was not worth that. The service was also not great. They handed me one slice of pizza and started helping other customers. When I asked for my second piece, she was rude in saying they were waiting on the next pepperoni pizza to come out of the oven. She could have just said that from the start and I would have waited patiently, but I thought they had forgotten to give me my second slice. A solid 3.5 stars mostly for the value and the crust, it was like $12 for two gourmet slices and a medium drink. Walk up to the counter to whoever is free, kinda like a bar and let them know what you want. I got a spinach&pepperoni and Hawaiian slice. Pros: crunchy thin crust, cheaper than a number #1 at McDonald's, you get your food quick, girl at the counter was friendly and efficient. While I was paying with my card on the terminal she was taking the next order. Cons: Slices weren't hot enough for my taste, cheese didn't melt and the sauce was kinda cold, ingredients were not sparse but not generous. Located in a food hall tourist trap, I know I didn't get the full Regina's experience. This spot is just OK. The pizza slices are huge and reheated to order. This is definitely are breadier, thicker crust, so one slice is definitely filling enough. I like that the toppings are fresh and generous. They hold up well on the thicker crust.
