PROJECT: replacement of bathroom vanity countertop w/quartz…read more This is a great company. Top notch customer service offered by Enes and Godze (not sure about the spelling of their names). They are always unfailingly professional, polite and responsive. They walked me to their "shop" in the back - the area where all the stone is cut - and allowed me to look at the slabs - AND allowed me to take home a sample so I could decide which one worked best in my home. They fit me into their schedule relatively quickly as well. Not next day but within the week. The crew was professional, showed up on time and finished the work quickly. Here's where they really earned their 5 stars. There was a very small portion of the sink where the enamel seemed to be chipped off. I called them - sometimes you just don't see these things till later and they arranged for someone to come right out to fix. Enes very politely asked the location and indicated the damage could have been done by the plumber. They could have made things very difficult and we could have gone and forth but he didn't. Enes sent a crew (I called him on a Saturday) and he had someone out in the next couple of days to replace the sink. That's the hallmark of a company that prides themselves on a job well done and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The picture does not do justice to how nice the countertops turned out. Really impressed by the company.

All told, I paid $10,050 for approximately 200 sq. ft. The stairs were a big expense (about $3k), but well worth it. I found Steve via HomeAdvisor. He came over, took measurements and photos, and within a day or two sent us beautiful high-tech renderings, along with estimates for all of the options. After getting two other bids, I chose Steve after he agreed to cut his bid from $11,200 to $10,500 (which ended up being $10,050 after he knocked off $450 for delays). He started within a couple weeks of his original estimate--weather obviously delays things--and while it took longer than it was supposed to, the end product is beautiful.

He did a quick design for me at our initial meeting and later did an official one to submit to my HOA. I spoke to half a dozen other contractors who all priced about the same for the work. What sold me was Steve's portfolio and how up front he was with everything. Not once did he try to sell my on something I didn't need or go beyond what I was asking for. We decided on a wood deck to match the majority of the homes in our HOA, and because we just like the look better. From the beginning of his crew showing up till the last piece of trash picked up they were extremely friendly and FAST!! They started on a Tuesday and finished by Friday for a 24'x16' deck that was 6' off the ground on uneven ground. Finish product was even better than the graphic design of it. Hands down 100% glad I went with PowerHouse. Even neighbors and friends have already commented on well of job they did and wished their contractor was just as good. If you have any doubts just invite Steve over for a chat and you will see for yourself your money will definitely go the length and you will not be disappointed.

However today, a year later from starting, my deck remains unfinished and only passed inspection after we personally went through the process with the county. From the first "final delivery" of the deck to me is where I started seeing issues. Huge gaps in the Trex were made at each post that collect water, incorrect pieces of Trex were used on the railings, Trex were cut inappropriately in the middle of the flooring, and none of the footers of the original deck were removed. Cleanup was terrible, large cuts were made in railings that needed to be rectified, the edges of the deck were left unfinished, and the overall workmanship was very poor. Over time, HaiJoe "fixed" a few of the issues, while many of them remain "as is" as they would otherwise require a complete rebuild to be resolved. Many of the "fixes" actually caused additional sets of issues, and the owner still sent the same Foreman! Elder Ramos, the owner was hard to get a hold of, then hostile on the phone, and altogether unresponsive. Elder accused us of lying, raised his voice, and hung up on us over the phone. He lied that our deck passed its final inspection, which it did not until months later when we took care of it ourselves. I am so disappointed with the deck that I have been left with. Every day I use it; I see the poor workmanship that was put into it. Do not use this company unless you want a terrible product and bad customer service.

Andres regularly comes by to check the work and ensure everything meets the highest quality standards, which I truly appreciate. They came up with the best solution, made the necessary adjustments, and made everything work seamlessly. Their professionalism, problem-solving, and dedication really stand out. They'll also be working on my backsplash and finishing the cabinets next week, and I'll be adding more photos then. For now, I just want to thank Cisco, Andres, and the entire Home-X team for their hard work, integrity, and commitment to getting the job done right. I'm looking forward to the final result, and I'm confident it will be amazing.

Mr. Stuardo said we have to wait for countertop installation which takes 3-4 weeks so they can come and finish the remaining 3 wall cabinets, he did not let me finish and hung up on me. Am I to deal with the mess around my condo since everything is in boxes all around the place for 3-4 weeks just to get the 3 remaining wall cabinets to be installed? I do not understand why wall cabinets have to do anything with countertop for floor cabinets. I know countertop takes 3-4 weeks to be measured and fabricated but Mr. Stuardo said we have to wait till the countertop to be installed meaning I have to wait another 4 weeks then he did not let me talk and hung up on me. Again, I told him and his boss Mr. Franciso the countertop installation has nothing to do with wall cabinet. I am very upset Mr. Franciso said talk to Lowe's since we are contracted with them. The Home X Remodeling crew are very disrespectful and rude. DO NOT work with these people as they are not on time, they do not care for customers. They created very bad experience and frustration for us. If you are thinking about working with Home X Remodeling, think twice before you hire them. Also I will let Lowe's know what company they are contracting with since Lowe's reputation is on line and important as well. Never recommend Home X remodeling anybody.
