However today, a year later from starting, my deck remains unfinished and only passed inspection after we personally went through the process with the county. From the first "final delivery" of the deck to me is where I started seeing issues. Huge gaps in the Trex were made at each post that collect water, incorrect pieces of Trex were used on the railings, Trex were cut inappropriately in the middle of the flooring, and none of the footers of the original deck were removed. Cleanup was terrible, large cuts were made in railings that needed to be rectified, the edges of the deck were left unfinished, and the overall workmanship was very poor. Over time, HaiJoe "fixed" a few of the issues, while many of them remain "as is" as they would otherwise require a complete rebuild to be resolved. Many of the "fixes" actually caused additional sets of issues, and the owner still sent the same Foreman! Elder Ramos, the owner was hard to get a hold of, then hostile on the phone, and altogether unresponsive. Elder accused us of lying, raised his voice, and hung up on us over the phone. He lied that our deck passed its final inspection, which it did not until months later when we took care of it ourselves. I am so disappointed with the deck that I have been left with. Every day I use it; I see the poor workmanship that was put into it. Do not use this company unless you want a terrible product and bad customer service.

When others were all pitching a kitchen island, she understood we were happy with a peninsula design, and paid attention to the limited space and work areas based on our small kitchen. She made suggestions and redrew the plans to address our own ideas and questions. There was a great back & forth dialogue on what we envisioned. She encouraged us to take our time and explore all the different choices available. Katie eliminated a lot of the decision fatigue that happens with having to make so many choices. Katie never pushed, just made helpful suggestions. She stressed there was no rush. We chose Cabinet Discounters over other companies/designers because Katie listened. As you can see from the photos, our kitchen is falling apart. Cabinet Discounters used the wrong grout, so it continues to crumble. The tile floor is cracked, and we have had to have the grout repaired at additional expense from another contractor. Our kitchen needs to be gutted...again, due to the extremely poor quality of work provided by Cabinet Discounters. Their customer service is terrible, and they have yet to respond to my outreach.

A crew came out Jan 24th, "completed" the job in 1 day. Tiles were terrible cut, grout was cracking and falling out, trim was barely hanging on. Horrendous job. After much back and forth, they finally came out 5 weeks to fix their terrible work. I was told they would come out to do the work and it would take 1-2 days. It ended up taking them a week, Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday, to re-do the job. Some days were no call no shows, leaving us with plywood from the base construction of the building as our kitchen floors for that week. The job is still not completed as there are still areas of the flooring unfinished. Absolutely terrible work, and even worse customer experience. Would not recommend to anyone looking to have any kind of work done.

But the worst part of the job was the quality of work. See the pictures and decide for yourself. They actually used chipped tile. To top it off they used some type of grout protectant and didn't cover my wooden floor. Now I have white residue in between the wooden planks and their shoe sole prints too. I couldn't even get them to clean up their handy work in the driveway. I had to hire a cleaning company to undue the damage. I definitely wouldn't recommend this company to a friend or anyone else. It could cost you more, so do your homework!
