My wife and I used Blaine to remodel our master bathroom and quest bathroom. When it came time to…read moreremodel our kitchen, we selected Fine Line Construction again. There really was not much of a decision based on our history with Blaine. We were not disappointed. Remodeling a kitchen is much different than remodeling a bathroom - many more moving parts and design decisions. The kitchen remodel highlighted the best trait about Blaine. You can discuss design alternatives throughout the process. He listens and provides the pros and cons. He will go out of this way to ensure you are happy with the result. The name Fine Line Constructions speaks for itself. Blaine's attention to detail is amazing. He will spot imperfections and fix them before you even notice the problem. And on those rare occasions when you are not 100 percent pleased with the result, Blaine will address the issue without question. I am not sure what our next remodeling project will be, but when hiring a General Contractor our first choice will be Fine Line Construction.

Over the past year and a half they've masterfully completed several jobs for us, and we have them on the books for several more. They have dug out and installed french drains with sump pumps as well as repaired and painted walls, ceilings, and brickwork. All of these things were done expertly. But the most significant work they've done was to create, from the ground up, an addition to our house. We call it an addition, a sunroom, our new "hang out all day" room. A 14x16 vaulted ceiling with support beam masterpiece, the casement windows are all handmade with the finest craftsmanship and care. They spent hours, days and weeks measuring, sanding, staining, painting, glueing, nailing, and appraising. Perfection was the goal and it was accomplished over and over again. We were especially appreciative of the creativity and thoughtfulness with design and vision: Blaine especially was adept at providing the many options involved in all aspects of the job to choose from - such as tile material and color to stain shades - and then, when asked, gave his highly informed and relevant ideas and opinions. And when supplier issues and delays occurred as they always seem to these days they were undeterred and never rushed nor took shortcuts. They were always punctual, courteous, and up front with all details and accounting. Our cost overages were insignificant. We couldn't be happier with them and their work, and the end result was well beyond what we expected.

He then finally showed 2 days later with 2 workers and asked me to borrow a ladder since he forgot his. Workers wouldn't show until 12pm and sometime they wouldn't show up until 2pm. There were days they didn't even show up. The workers were not clean or organized. They never cleaned up the site after they were done. Fast forward to completion of the project. It looks like crap. The gutter leaks and the workers butchered the soffits. Oscar said he would fix it but would never show up. He promised me that they will be out on Monday 10/24. They never showed up and no phone call. no response from Oscar. I reached out to Oscar this morning and he said he was sorry. I told him I am going to hire someone to fix it and hold him responsible for the payment. His responses was "sorry, I'll pay! I asked him does this mean your not going to fix it. No response. So I'm forced to go to yelp and complain. This was my wife's project that she wanted done. Unfortunately, she passed before she got a chance to have it done. I spent a year looking for the right contractor. This is the only time I have ever had an issue with a contractor. I'm not big on complaining but this company is horrible. I will mot recommend OG construction. I have plenty of pictures, texts and emails to prove that OG construction is a horrible company

I appreciated their attention to detail and their craftsmanship. Also, Jeremiah patiently answered all my questions throughout the entire process -- from the free estimate at our house through the completion of both projects. He also made several excellent recommendations regarding color, stain, layout, design and so forth. The new concrete walkway and stoop/threshold (with matching pavers) took years off the appearance of our house, which was built in 1969. The back patio also looks fantastic! They removed the original 4 concrete slabs, as well as some pavers that we had installed ourselves as a temporary fix several years ago. All of that was replaced by stamped concrete that was antiqued and sealed. One of our friends commented that the patio now resembles a European old world square. In addition, the project significantly increased the usable outdoor living space. We have received numerous compliments on both masonry projects from friends and neighbors. I would give Jeremiah and his crew 5 stars for the finished projects. I highly recommend their work! In fact, I would have given a 5 star review OVERALL but there were a couple issues that precluded me from doing so. First, I was told that the work at our house would begin between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. but no one showed up until approximately 3:30 p.m. [They had been at another site working on a concrete project that had been delayed due to rain earlier that week]. I understand scheduling conflicts can happen, especially with businesses that are at the mercy of Mother Nature. However, I would have appreciated a simple phone call to keep me in the loop. Throughout the morning and early afternoon I left voice messages with the contractor and Masonry Specialist, LLC. I sent a couple emails to the company. I even posted a message on Masonry Specialist's Facebook page. It was only through Facebook that I received a response. The second -- and main reason -- I gave 4 stars instead of 5 has to do with the way the final payment process was handled. Our two projects combined were not inexpensive. Therefore, I wanted to take advantage of my credit card companies' rewards programs. I emailed Masonry Specialist and asked if I could put half the project cost on one card (to get air miles) and half on another card (to get points). Brandy at Masonry Specialist responded via email, "We can certainly accept credit cards, however, they charge us a 3.5% fee -- with two transactions, they would charge us 2x -- we prefer cash or check due to this." I suggested a compromise. I said I could send a check that day for half the payment and then immediately call her with a credit card number to pay the remaining amount. Brandy responded that she would be happy to accommodate. HOWEVER, she would pass on the 3.5% credit card fee to me. What?!? Since I wasn't thrilled with the idea of having to pay more than we both had originally agreed to, I wrote a personal check for the entire amount and mailed it to the company. Masonry projects can be costly. I doubt that all families have large sums of cash at their disposal. I would hope that Masonry Specialist, LLC would reconsider its policy of charging customers a fee for the convenience of using credit cards. That would be a 5-star idea.

I'm leaving an HONEST review here, please consider your options. This review is based on my…read moreexperience (which reflect experiences from others on here). Background: Infinite paved my driveway on 04.10.23. Infinite suggested that we do an overlay, to lay 3 inches of asphalt over my old driveway because the foundation was still good. Miles, the salesman who sold us on the job, ensured that there would be no water drainage issue. However, due to the new pavement being higher than my cement at my side door entrance, there is indeed a water issue where water and dirt is collecting with no path to flow out (photos attached). I tried reaching out to Infinite via phone calls but no one was picking up, so I had reported the issue on Yelp. MIles and team came to my home shortly after I posted the review to look at the situation. They agreed that this part of the driveway was overlooked. So, they provided me with a plan to rectify the issue (photo attached). They also asked me if I would be kind enough to remove the Yelp review. I agreed and was more than happy to remove the review since I appreciated their followup and their plan to rectify the problem. I was flexible with the timeline to fix my driveway as long as it was reasonable and Infinite would communicate with me effectively. Fast forward to today, we are now in a situation where I can't get ahold of Miles and I have no answers from Infinite. I have given them a while to get their situation together and respond to me before I came back to yelp. It's been several months (it's now July) and they haven't responded to my emails. From the screen shot you can see that Miles reads my texts but chooses to ignore me... Could someone please provide answers? As a customer who kindly removed the Yelp review and was willing to be flexible with the timeline to fix my driveway, all I want is to simply resolve the problem per the plan that MIles provided (photo attached) and to have effective communication. Fast forward to today, we are now in a situation where I can't get ahold of Miles and I have no answers from Infinite. Could someone please provide answers? What happened on 04.24? As a customer who kindly removed the Yelp review and was willing to be flexible with the timeline to fix my driveway, all I want is to simply resolve the problem per the plan that MIles provided (photo attached) and to have effective communication. I have a incredibly dangerous water issue, where water and dirt settlement collects at the cement in front of my door due to the driveway being higher. I had to push out the water and dirt dozens of times already and I'm not looking to have this issue in the winter when things get iced up. This is their doing. If anyone would like to discuss their quality and what went down, feel free to contact me. Heck, you can come to my driveway and view for yourself. Please be aware. I have spoken to others who experience similar situations with their customer service and quality. Infinite, if you're reading, you need to fix the problem and honor your promise. I'm tired of waiting. You've taken advantage of me and my family, and you should be accountable for your predatory tactics. If you want to be an ounce respected as a company, you should put customers first and rectify the problems you've created.

Buyer Beware! This is a scam company. I regret hiring them every time I pull into my driveway…read more Read the reviews and don't do business with Peter Hardy or any of his con-artist friends. I had a very similar experience to the rest of the folks who posted a 1-star review. Peter was soliciting in my neighborhood last spring and said he could replace my existing asphalt driveway with a larger concrete one for $5K. Red flag #1- he quoted half the price of other legitimate concrete contractors. Red flag #2- I didn't find any reviews about them. Check it out- the oldest review on Yelp right now is from Mar 2023. They must do an annual scrub of negative reviews which are likely the ones they get. I signed a contract and Peter wrote on it that no deposit was required. The evening before work was to be started, Peter texted that he needed $1K deposit and he wanted the check made out in his name. I agreed...I know, big mistake. That was Red flag #3. Red flag #4 When Peter gave me the original quote, I pointed out the lines where I wanted the new driveway to be expanded to. He said he'd come out with his crew and mark them. I saw his markers when I came home and noticed that they were quite a bit off from what we had discussed. He said it'd cost an additional $1K for "materials" to expand the driveway back to what we had originally agreed on. Red flag #5- Just like other folks have experienced, Peter's crew ripped up my driveway into a big pile of rubble and then demanded an additional $3000 to finish the job. Of course I was very upset and knew at that point that I had been scammed but the real kicker is that the driveway is crumbling and cracking 10 months after it has been installed. Peter doesn't respond to my text messages and the numbers listed on the contract aren't in service anymore. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and am posting this review in the hopes that others can save themselves from a very expensive mistake.
