Termites started our troubles & Shades of Nature fixed it all…read more We bought our home in 2000 and our beautiful olive tree lived in this neighborhood for 60 years. Over the years this tree was the back drop for many family moments ie.prom, and Easters, and its even still on Google maps picture of our address. (They haven't updated it obviously.LOL). Until termites and squirrels attack it causing a slow death. After the tree was cut & the stump ground out. This removal left a huge hole. The new "hopeful" design my husband and I talked about included fencing off the newly landscaped yard. We shopped online and visited the big hardware companies to no avail. Then we wanted to keep the business local and called LA Fence Company. The sales staff at the showroom in Duarte were very knowlegeable and encouraging. From start to finish, Mike S. and staff were accountable, timely, and completely professional. All of his workers treated our property with respect and care and attention to detail. The new fence install took 2 weeks as promised. And the finished outcome is simply outstanding. We live int he middle of the block our home is a standout from the work done. The fence adds a sharp modern & clean curb-appeal to our home that is both modern and handicap accessible for our elderly mother who has a walker. I am still in awe with what they have done to improve our LIVES and HOME. Please trust & give this company your business. Enjoy the pictures of this summer's yard transformation and now Fall decorations. The project was completed quickly and at the quoted price. Although this was not the lowest quote we received, Dmitrii's honesty during the consultation phase helped earn our trust. (He accurately flagged that one idea we had in mind for our project--adding stucco over existing cinderblocks--should first be evaluated by a masonry expert. He was right: we consulted a masonry expert who confirmed that the stucco would not have lasted long on that surface, and it would've been a waste of money. Other fence companies were willing to do the stucco work and didn't alert us to the need for a masonry expert.) We will be coming back to HandyMaestro for our future fence projects.

The responses to my questions were fast, and I asked A LOT of questions. All my questions felt welcomed by Shay and I am so thankful to him. Quality was superb. I asked Shay for help with adding a wall to my garage, change area of laundry air vent, demo carpet on stairs and on second floor , change subflooring on second floor, install laminate flooring where carpet was, new walk in shower, and upgrade our stairs to have risers. The finished job looked beautiful and well built. There were minor details that I wanted fixed and Shay had it fixed next day. It was amazing. As for the cost, it was comparable to other competitors. We saw Shay and his team had proof of work. Shay took us to one of his other renovation projects and that house was beautiful. Even after the job is done, Shay does not ghost you. I asked him if he could look at something for me and he still sent someone my way. Overall, my partner and I are both so happy we went with JRD Construction. Dont hesitate to choose them!

Out of the inquiries, 4 responded and provided estimates in person. Roi, from JRD, was the last one to provide the quote and was the only one out of the four to provide a detailed explanation of what the work would entail and also showed photos of prior jobs and design inspirations. Needless to say, we went with JRD and from the get-go, Roi was responsive and kept us up to date every day. He made sure we were satisfied with the job before considering it closed. If you want a work done by a company who delivers on its promises and keeps in touch with you until the very end, JRD is for you. Not to mention, Roi was able to beat the other quotes which was also a plus.

Our home has teak trim and architectural features. Many of the surfaces that get a lot of sun exposure needed work. Indy came out, evaluated what needed to be done, and Teak Master promptly sent an estimate. The senior crew supervisor was Indy, and our crew consisted of Andres, Arturo, Samuel, Abidan, and Juan. They were here for three days, sanding and refinishing the teak. As an example of their attention to detail, my wife has a lot of potted plants on the patio. It was no surprise that they moved all the potted plants out of the way. The surprise came at the end, when Indy took out his phone, looked at the photo he had taken three days earlier, and directed the crew as they put every plant back in its original position! Nobody else has ever done that. And, on the day the trash was collected, I left the barrels on the driveway, to give the crew more room in the side yard. After they left, the barrels were back where they belong. It's the little things. Although Indy and I had examined the house in advance to determine the scope of work, as they were wrapping up Indy looked at the garage doors and pointed out that after refinishing the other areas, the doors looked a bit shabby. He was right. I look forward to having them back in a few weeks.
