Just over the Sean O'Casey bridge and right in the heart of uber-sleek IFSC shopping district, this is the kind of restaurant I wouldn't mind making a habit of. Our table was in the rooms under the main restaurant, enjoying a full view of the massive wine vault (glass fronted for maximum drooling) and stand-and-your-there bar access. The restaurant was buzzing that night but we could have been the only table there. The staff were, as to be expected, experienced professionals - suggesting wine / food combinations with practised calm. After a starter of oysters I opted for steak (done rare, pinking my mash so deliciously) and a good glass of red. If my little notebook could fit in my fashionably slim clutch, I could report on the name and pedigree of the selection. Suffice to say, it was tasty! Finishing off with espressos and a chocolate marquis, we raised our glasses, toasted the evening and wondered how to finagle another visit.

This might be one of my favorite meals of all my travels. We were immediately seated and taken care of in a small cove. It was very secluded and quiet for a nice date night. The service was on top of it, someone at the table every few minutes. It's definitely an experience. They have some phenomenal wine options by the glass or bottle. We started with the avocado ponzu which omg really set the stage, it had perfect flavors. My fiancé got the duck, which was so tender and flavorful and the pepper sauce (mousse?) was to die for. I got the potato dumplings on the vegetarian menu and they had chunks of perfectly cooked morels! The sauce and the flavors were so delicately paired and showed the no brainer of why this spot is recognized my Michelin. We also got the side of carrots and the aroncini, both super tasty. It was a wonderful meal, definitely an experience. I was impressed with the prices, I expected much more expensive for a place of this type, but it's very fair and makes it attainable for almost anyone to splurge on a delicious meal. 1000000/10 probably one of the best restaurants I've eaten at, highly recommend.

The gentleman who greeted me was pleasant and took my coat and offered to take my bag as well. I was escorted to the second room where multiple individuals were there to greet me. They recommended a berry vodka martini to start. It was sweet but not overpowering. I was given an appetizer of the tartare which was beautiful and delicious. For dinner I ordered the halibut with broccoli as a side. I would have sworn the halibut was cooked sous vide (don't know if that's how it was but it was amazingly soft and delicate). I could have ate the broccoli as a full meal it was amazing. The team here would come and check on me and have casual conversations with me. They were engaged and I enjoyed the conversations. For dessert I chose the crème brûlée. This was probably the best brûlée I can remember ever having. As most places in Europe there was no rush and I enjoyed my experience peacefully. Everyone thanked me for coming and the gentleman at front recalled the rest of my time here and conversed a bit before leaving. I loved this place and absolutely will recommend making a reservation here.

The spot is located up a literal winding staircase that takes you into an inviting room that boasts a lovely view of the river below. We didn't go to the third floor, but I can imagine it was equally lovely. They've got an impressive wine list and a moderate beer list that's predominantly bottle. Interestingly they don't have spirits so the mixed drinks are wine cocktails - boss! I tried a white port and tonic drink - seriously next level! I don't often find wine cocktails and even more rarely are they really good! The menu is impressive and seasonal, save the potted crab and haddock, which are on all the time. It should be know for any who dine with our crew, that we share a lot, so everything we had was enjoyed by all 5 of us. The crab was unbelievable! Creamy, flavorful, magical. The beef cheek and fish plate were also perfect for sharing. We also had two scotch eggs - these could have a Klondike bar (look it up youngins!) like marketing campaign! We shared the Haddock and the Pigs on Green Port Tenderloin. Both were awesome, with the Haddock more memorable. We haven't had such delicious mashed fish since Iceland and the cheddar mash and onions were the perfect accoutrement! The chocolate fondant was delicious and the bread and butter bread pudding was life changing. The whiskey sauce is something I'd swim in if given the chance! It was lick the plate good. The service was spot on and we got out of there for about €50 a person, full and happy! The whole evening was excellent and this place definitely deserves the accolades. If you're in the area, you should check it out!

This is evident by the name drop of some producers in each dish. My family was able to try a scotch egg for the first time, some beef cheek, crab and a charcuterie board with meats from Cork. Even the beers we ordered were local as well, mine from the Waterford area. Our server walked us through this experience with ease and we all couldn't be happier with our time here, especially for a Sunday afternoon when it could have been a lot louder and chaotic.

I was hungry and cold and feeling a little unimaginative myself so I went for the bangers and mash. Which managed the job of filling me adequately. This is probably unnecessary to say but I did check in, an offer of cocktail if I got two courses popped up. This was like 2.30 in the day so wasn't feeling that really but out of a sense of interest, I asked anyway. Waiter had no clue what I was talking about. I showed him the offer on the phone, he went off to speak to the boss, came back and said that that's an old offer and he doesn't know why it's still showing up. Riiiiiiiiiight, suuuuuure. Whatever man, I didn't want it anyway (sob sob)

I was impressed that such a sophisticated brasserie was located in an area of town known for being rough and dodgy. The inside was tastefully decorated with plenty of tables. French framed posters of old advertising campaigns decorated the walls. Most of the customers looked like they were on their lunch break from the office. It was quite busy and the waiter asked us to wait at the bar for a free table. We only waited 10 minutes which gave us enough time to look at the menu and decide what we wanted to eat. The food was delicious and well-presented. I order a duck spring roll and noodle salad to start and a goat's cheese and pumpkin tart for my main. Both dishes were light and healthy so I did not feel uncomfortably full at the end of the meal. The service was excellent. We felt looked after despite the busy atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back here next time I fancy French food.

We should have made reservations in advance, but it was our first night in Dublin. We lucked out and got a table for four. Nice selection of items on the menu yet not overwhelming. Had something for everyone. Wine list had most of the bases covered. My wife had the pan roasted chicken and the rest of us went for steaks. I confess we didn't do the dry aged version. One of our group had the filet and raved about it. Yet she wouldn't share, but that's a different story. Two of us had the garlic and thyme infused ribeye. Cooked to our liking and delicious. For dessert we all shared the apple tartlet, and a port. A great dinner and a perfect way to kickoff our vacation.

Perfect temperature, great flavor and mixture of cheese/croutons/onions. Portion was a good size too. Filet was cooked as ordered and was flavorful, not as tender as I would have expected but good nonetheless. Steak came with a choice of a sauce and I chose a butter with some type of cheese. It was good but it was more of a butter than a sauce. It also came with a side and I chose a fancy French named potato that was nothing more than a thick cut French fry. Pass. Overall was a great dining experience
