A few years ago, I was a charge nurse here as Mrs. Samuel David Esquivel, Salvador's daughter in law. I don't believe in step for step children or in law for married to biological children. We all need to learn to love each other as humans no matter what we call ourselves. One human race. I did not choose to be born or the color of my skin. This place is great. All my nurse aides were efficient and knowledgeable. I only had one that could not do her job because she was a Marijuana smoker. The others had to do their job and hers too and I did too. They refused to fire her. Also, one nurse aide shined a Lazer light into my eyes. I was wearing contact lenses and with my nearsightedness it could have blinded me quickly. The night crew slept on the job. That could have made for a disaster. Since that time, I have kept up. This place seems to have improved. Please be kind to each other my American friends. I was told--both verbally and in writing--that my insurance would cover 60% and 40% of the total cost of a crown and mouth guard, and I was required to pay the full $3,596.25 upfront based on that representation. This was false. My insurance ultimately covered only $279.64. After receiving my Explanation of Benefits, I contacted both the dental office and my insurance. My insurer confirmed that the office had been clearly told on the date of service that coverage applied only to the allowed amount, not the total billed amount. This critical information was never disclosed to me. I agreed to treatment solely because I was assured I would be reimbursed a specific percentage of the full cost. Since then, the office has provided inconsistent explanations, denied statements that were later proven untrue, and has not contacted my insurance again despite repeatedly claiming they were "working on it." I also requested a copy of the document I signed showing the quoted coverage, and the office failed to provide it. I have repeatedly asked to speak with the dentist or owner regarding this issue, and each time I have been told I am not allowed to speak with anyone except Ruby at the front desk. This refusal to escalate concerns or allow communication with management is unacceptable. I believe I was induced into unnecessary and costly treatment based on inaccurate and misleading information. The lack of disclosure, refusal to correct the issue, and ongoing evasiveness demonstrate a serious disregard for patient rights. And the car and service i received from the MRI department the IMAGING department and the mammogram department a beer than i ever thought i was going to receive. I did 5 different procedures in 1 hour and 45 minutes on one of my trips there, the place is exceptionally clean and the receptionist at the front was inviting and delightfully pleasant to hold a conversation with at 7am. My ER doctor was so good at her job, but the compassion was what made me feel like i received exceptional care.. Thank you Barstow Hospital..

I have had an implant and several crowns replaced, and all are holding well. He is also affordable. He only charges half of what Bay Area dentists were asking for an implant, and that comes with an in-office CT scan to determine the viability for an implant for insurance approval - and you don't have to leave the country or risk your health for the affordable price! You just have to get to Barstow (a 2-1/2 hr drive or bus ride from Las Vegas or L.A., or an hour drive from Ontario airport). His office manager is a genius at getting the insurance companies to cover their share. I always owe less than anticipated. Their office and facilities are modern, comfortable, and attractive.

Even our new dentist said its a ill fitting crown which he took pictures of and is submitting them to have it replaced and show them what Dr Jangs office did to me. I kept telling Jangs office that the crown wasn't right. I should have to be in pain after getting a cemrown and I definitely shouldn't be getting food in an opening! Then he yanked some of my teeth telling me they couldn't be saved and crowns were denied. Crown were denied because they could have been saved and I realized that when he had the audacity to ask me....." Don't you want dentures?" Fuck no....do you? Then they kept trying to push us to get my mom's teeth yanked....NOPE! Plus I waited about 2 months to where they were supposed to submit the paperwork for approval for my mom's work and heard nothing. So I would call only to have that bitch that sits in front be rude. She's lucky I bit my tongue quite a few time because she doesn't realize she playing with fire. 2 of the ladies that work up front need a good ass whipping and one day someone is gonna give it to them. I told the one who submits all the paperwork to her face after she had the nerve to be rude to me on the phone that she better never talk to me like I'm her 5 year old child again. Watch out people! Lots of scamming going on at this dental office. Money hungry and they don't care who's mouth they ruin....because they ruined mine and ALMOST my mom's. Its sad how people complain about some of the staff up front and nothing is EVER done about it. Even a few of the girls that work in the back said their very rude to clients. Please look up Bliss Dental Products. I healed 2 cavities with their mineral toothpaste plus healed my receding gums with the gum massage treatment. Don't let ANYONE ruin your teeth for greed!
