It might not be the most modern office but I did appreciate not having to fill out paperwork by hand but on the laptop instead. Dr Robinson was very knowledgeable and was very honest. He is very caring and takes the time to listen. My emergency ended up being taken care of and I am changing dentists now. Would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

My experience with Barstow Friendly Smiles and Craig Robinson Dr. involved significant…read moremisrepresentation of insurance coverage and a lack of transparency throughout the entire process. I was told--both verbally and in writing--that my insurance would cover 60% and 40% of the total cost of a crown and mouth guard, and I was required to pay the full $3,596.25 upfront based on that representation. This was false. My insurance ultimately covered only $279.64. After receiving my Explanation of Benefits, I contacted both the dental office and my insurance. My insurer confirmed that the office had been clearly told on the date of service that coverage applied only to the allowed amount, not the total billed amount. This critical information was never disclosed to me. I agreed to treatment solely because I was assured I would be reimbursed a specific percentage of the full cost. Since then, the office has provided inconsistent explanations, denied statements that were later proven untrue, and has not contacted my insurance again despite repeatedly claiming they were "working on it." I also requested a copy of the document I signed showing the quoted coverage, and the office failed to provide it. I have repeatedly asked to speak with the dentist or owner regarding this issue, and each time I have been told I am not allowed to speak with anyone except Ruby at the front desk. This refusal to escalate concerns or allow communication with management is unacceptable. I believe I was induced into unnecessary and costly treatment based on inaccurate and misleading information. The lack of disclosure, refusal to correct the issue, and ongoing evasiveness demonstrate a serious disregard for patient rights. I cannot recommend this office to anyone seeking honest or transparent dental care.

I have had an implant and several crowns replaced, and all are holding well. He is also affordable. You just have to get to Barstow (a 2-1/2 hr drive or bus ride from Las Vegas or L.A., or an hour drive from Ontario airport). First off he told my 86 yr old mother that she need her 4 bottom front teeth pulled and a plate with teeth to wear. WRONG! Our new dentist shook his head and said....NOPE! I'm so glad you came to me. A good deep cleaning will secure those teeth because her jaw bone is just fine! Now I've also been complaining about a crown he put on one of my molars. The day after getting it I noticed it kept hurting so I ran my tongue across the back of it. There's a opening between the cap and my gums where food is getting in....SMH! I told dentist at Jangs and he had the nerve to tell me just to keep it clean and use a toothpick to pull food out! I knew he was full of it. Even our new dentist said its a ill fitting crown which he took pictures of and is submitting them to have it replaced and show them what Dr Jangs office did to me. I kept telling Jangs office that the crown wasn't right. I should have to be in pain after getting a cemrown and I definitely shouldn't be getting food in an opening! Then he yanked some of my teeth telling me they couldn't be saved and crowns were denied. Crown were denied because they could have been saved and I realized that when he had the audacity to ask me....." Don't you want dentures?" Fuck no....do you? Then they kept trying to push us to get my mom's teeth yanked....NOPE! Plus I waited about 2 months to where they were supposed to submit the paperwork for approval for my mom's work and heard nothing. So I would call only to have that bitch that sits in front be rude. She's lucky I bit my tongue quite a few time because she doesn't realize she playing with fire. 2 of the ladies that work up front need a good ass whipping and one day someone is gonna give it to them. I told the one who submits all the paperwork to her face after she had the nerve to be rude to me on the phone that she better never talk to me like I'm her 5 year old child again. Watch out people! Lots of scamming going on at this dental office. Money hungry and they don't care who's mouth they ruin....because they ruined mine and ALMOST my mom's. Its sad how people complain about some of the staff up front and nothing is EVER done about it. Even a few of the girls that work in the back said their very rude to clients. Please look up Bliss Dental Products. I healed 2 cavities with their mineral toothpaste plus healed my receding gums with the gum massage treatment. Don't let ANYONE ruin your teeth for greed!
