I was tricked by the fancy advertising! When I got on the bus in Miami and the seat was comfortable however when I placed the tray on the seat underneath the tray was a family of German Roaches!!!!! They scattered all over!!! I was mortified! I managed to kill a few . The next thing was the air quality, the cool never came on. I felt trapped from Miami to Orlando! Wow. Ft. Lauderdale airport closed due to 25 inches of rain. Ft Lauderdale has declared a state of emergency. My flight was canceled because the airport is impassible. I have to fly out of MIA because the airport was closed. I called Redcoach to see if they could issue a refund since there is no way I can use the service (the service is transportation from MIA airport to FT. Lauderdale so I can catch a flight). I filed a claim online the same day and it is June 8, 2023 and no resolution. They were unable to find my bags and acknowledge baggage liability supposed to get a payout. Still nothing. While the tickets are relatively cheap, the luggage policies are horrible. Someone stole my family's luggage that contained valuable Christmas presents...literally collected it from the bus luggage compartment and walked away with it. Redcoach said they have 8 cameras to "protect" passengers, but here we are, weeks later and we're still getting the runaround. I prefer to chat with them via text, that way, there is evidence of their incompetent responses. At this rate, it looks like we will see in court, because I will NOT let this go. From MIA, Concourse H departure, the big Red Coach bus can is easily found. The driver, Daniel, was courteous, professional and well spoken. Boarding verification was fast and simple. Departure was right on time at 7:15am. Bus information was communicated clearly and concisely. I was nicely impressed since other reviews of misfortunes concerned me. One small blip was at the Ft. Lauderdale stop. One of the passengers coming aboard noted to the driver her lap belt was wedged on the side of the seat between the seat and bus paneling. He could not unwedge it so offered her an alternate seat being unused. Tip: Nice crisp cool temperature, definitely wear long pants, bring a sweater / blanket. For napping, a travel pillow comes in handy! The ride? Soft n supple leather seats with Plenty of wiggle room and leg room at the business class service level. The bus itself moves along calmly, but at various speeds you feel the tires pulsate and is more pronounced at higher speeds. You get used to it. Around noontime, we arrived at the Orlando Red Coach terminal, where the bus cleaning turn around time seemed expedited. I'm guessing to make up for lost time during early morning traffic delay of approx 20 minutes. During this time I quickly used their CLEAN bathroom and ordered lunch from a small food truck outside. I was starved and thank this little oasis for being there! Grabbed my club house chicken sandwich with its fried egg, bacon, mayo, tomato and lettuce and hustled it back to the bus where we shortly departed. Raheem, our second driver, seemed to hustle us back to the highway where we take up the same speed as this morning (courtesy of third-party app). Took the 3:40 bus from Austin to Dallas - I was at the stop 15 minutes early, 3:40 rolls around and still no bus. I check the tracker and it still shows the bus at a different Austin stop, so I'm thinking it's just delayed. Around 4, I check the tracker again, and the bus is already on the freeway, having skipped my stop. My stop is crossed out and says 'skipped stop'. No email, no notification from RedCoach. I quickly book the next bus back to Dallas, which is at 6:45 same day, and also call customer service to figure out what the heck happened to the bus. They tell me the bus is actually just delayed and going to make it to my stop in a few minutes, so I ask them to cancel my 6:45 ticket and give me a refund. They tell me they can't do that as it is within 3 hours of the departure time, but they could give me a voucher - I filed a formal complaint for a refund and have yet to hear back from them. At 4:14, I receive an email saying that the original 3:40 bus is, in fact, not making it to my stop, but 10 minutes later the bus shows up. The driver is upset and tells us that dispatch told him not to go to our stop but later told him to U-turn and come back to our stop after he was on the freeway for a good 15 minutes. Terrible communication from RedCoach all around, and we ended up getting to Dallas an hour after our scheduled arrival time. Would not ride again. read more

First Class Bus Service!.. I've seen mixed reviews for the red coach but my experience today was that of a first class motorcoach company. The bus was cool and very clean and comfortable. Seats recline with an adjustable footrest. Arrived on time. Left on time. Driver was personable, polite, and helpful. Was able to log on and get plenty of work done. Clean bathroom. Stopped for a ten minute break and I was able to get a bottled water. Fare was less than I would have spent on gas!!!!!l What more could anyone ask???????? read more

They are eat out an email about the delay the night before, when passengers catching a 7a.m. Bus weRe asleep. No text was sent! I arrived at the bus stop at 6:50 a.m. for my 7a.m. departure. There was no sign indicating where (along a city block) the bus would stop. At 7:10 a.m. I called Redcoach and was told the bus was "15-20 minutes late. At approximately 8 a.m. I called again and was told thE bus was 2hours late. The facilities consists of a few benches on the sidewalk off a very busy street: no bathrooms or vending machines, and a cold wind tunnel in January. When a Redcoach bus pulled up shortly before 9, I and the other passengers ran up to it in relief, seeking warmth and a bathroom. The driver checked my ID and said it was the wrong bus. "This is the 8:30 bus" is all he would say. "Is it going to Tallahassee?" I asked. "Yes," he replied, but it's the 8:30 bus." Every other passenger was denied boarding, and the driver drove off empty. I called Redcoach again after 9, and was told the bus was on its way. The bus came at 9:15. The seats did not recline and leg space was cramped. We stopped too long to refuel in Albany. The return trip was almost as bad. The bus was scheduled to leave Tallahassee at 7:15 a.m., so when a Redcoach bus pulled up at 6:55 a.m. I got in line to board. Same thing: denied boarding and told it was the "wrong bus." (Neither bus had a destination displayed.) When I asked when to expect the right bus, I was told, "I don't know - it's not my bus." Remember when "It's not my job, man" was a T-shirt? The right bus came on time, but had cramped seats tHat did not recline, reading lights that did not work, too much heat, and a toilet where we were forbidden by the driver to "go number 2." I am disheartened by the ill-treatment my son received yesterday from the Bus Driver and his Supervisor, Ricardo. My son, who was heading back to College, was expecting a safe and relaxed ride back to his College city until his world was rocked by the bus driver and his fellow supervisor's lack of professionalism and courtesy. They should have honored the pick-up location ticket change processed by the Red Coach Customer Service agent despite the bus app failing to depict the bus location accurately. Instead, the driver informed us while my son and I stood in the rain that he would not allow him on the bus unless he purchased another ticket. The Customer Service agent on the phone asked to speak with the driver. Still, the driver refused and abruptly said he would not talk with the customer service agent, only his supervisor, Ricardo. He then shut the door and drove off, leaving my son stranded. The customer service agent then arranged for my son to be picked up by an alternative bus and location later during the evening hours, which in turn set his arrival back to school in the wee early morning hours. I bought a round trip Tampa USF-Miami Airport and the bus was late even if there wasn't traffic, it takes about 6 hours . There's no WIFI and it is impossible to charge the cell phones I tried to cancel the ticket to come back and the fee to refund is $17 , even if the ticket costs $25 . It is a trick, it is better to take a flight. If you buy 1 month before, the flights are very unexpensive. Never more!! read more

I wish I could write a good review for my one and only Redcoach experience from Orlando to Tallahassee and back. Unfortunately, my experience from beginning to end was quite shady and frustrating to say the least. First of all, when trying to book tickets for me and my daughter, I tried calling Redcoach to find out the exact location where the bus would be dropping us off so I could book our hotel stay in walking distance. No-one ever answered the phone. The voice message said to send a text message to 321-342-3063. I did that and never got a response. Those should have been my first set of clues that this business was very unprofessional. I went ahead and booked round trip tickets. We were scheduled to depart Orlando at 5am so we arrived at least 30 minutes early to be on the safe side. When we arrived, I parked in what appeared to be the first available spot unaware that Redcoach Orlando shares their building with a car rental company. Unfortunately, I happened to park on the rental company side of the building. Well won't you know on my return the following day, my car had been towed. There was no sign in sight as to the towing company and no one from Redcoach or Easirent was helpful or willing to assist me to find out where my car was. Redcoach Orlando gave no instructions as to where to park upon arrival. And with it being 4:45am on departure day, it was not easy very dark to figure anything out. There was no Redcoach employees on site to give any directions or answer any questions. We simply had to sit and wait for the bus to arrive. When inquired of Redcoach and Easirent employees as to the towing company and who was responsible for having my car towed, each company simply passed the blame from one company to the other. I was told to speak with Javier the office manager on the following Monday regarding the issue. When I returned to the office and requested to speak to Javier, Chris at the front desk went inside to inform Javier that I would like to speak with him. Unbeknownst to them, I could see Javier and his reactions while he was doing something on his phone. Totally uninterested in my (the customer's ) concerns. I saw him shrugged his shoulders as if to indicate that my problem was not his problem. He never left his chair to even address my concerns. My experience with Redcoach was the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. I would like to give credit only to Alex our driver who was the only professional on the journey. Alex although you drove like a bat out of hell, I'm grateful for your sense of humor and for getting us to our destination safely. Redcoach you really need to take some lessons in hospitality and how to exceed customer expectations. Your company is lacking tremendously in that area. If it were not for the customers, you would not be in business. I would like to be reimbursed the $160 out of pocket expense that this has caused me. read more

This was the WORST experience of my life. All the traveling I have done I have NEVER experienced such lack of customer service. My first time riding with this bus and I will NEVER AGAIN. 1.) My bad was taken by mistake. (There should have been tags for the bags) 2.) No since of urgency to fix the issue. 3.) I was told managers don't take calls. 4.) I was inconvenienced trying to get my bag back I had to work around their time which is horrible. I also paid $145 in lyft fees to get to my bag just to get to the spot a d the bus was 40 mins late. My driver Victor is a great driver and he actually made sure trash was picked up before we boarded. He was very professional and made sure we knew how to access wifi and the scheduled stops . I went with the bus line charging $55 to go from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale. There were others charging $15. May as well have gone cheap. RedCoach left 50 minutes late - no explanation, no updates. Called CS while waiting and only said the bus was there and face bus number. When it finally arrived - no such number on bus. The driver never checked boarding passes. He pulled off along road 2 times to adjust luggage doors. No explanation. Anyone could get on if they showed up. App had us pick seats - no seats were numbered. No WiFi. The power outlets in the seats were dead. Driver had no clue if anyone was booked to get off at stops... even though our reservations were for specific stops. We stopped several places and no one got off or on. Seats were not the most comfortable. It was clean and masks were required. read more

By far the worst experience I've ever encountered. 1.I took a trip mid February, on my return bus they some how lost my luggage and said some visual impaired gentleman took the wrong luggage. Made a claim the day of incident, called back the next day to get updates they told me no claim was submitted. Ok cool let's do another one 2.Lost and found reached out strictly through text would not answer the phone when I called only would text. When they did reach out it was at the end of February going into March. They ended up finding my luggage the week of March 4th The following week lost and found texted me with confirmation that it is my bag and said they were sending it on the next bus to Fort Lauderdale for me to meet the driver. The driver did indeed got the same message that he will be delivering a bag and when I got there it was no bag. So they found my luggage just to loose it again 3.At that moment I reached out to help support through email on March 7th to see if they can do something about the situation. Help support didn't email me back until April 19th to say they will are sorry they couldn't find my luggage and they will compensate me. I didn't mention between March 7th to April 19th I would call customer service probably twice a week for any updates and they were so unprofessional and horrible horrible customer service and that they couldn't give me any information every time I called It is now May 1st and still no compensation and the emotional damaged I've endure through this process was not easy read more

They will leave you in a unattended station RedCoach denied my son from his paid seat because he misplaced his phone on the other bus that he had just came down off and was not able to show them ID so they left him in Orlando to fend for himself without his phone. Please for your own health and safety, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!!! I would give this negative stars if I could. My partner bought me a ticket from Austin to Dallas and from the moment we arrived, everyone on that bus was treated horribly! The driver was the most rude person I have ever met in my life, yelling at everyone regarding their bags and everything else under the sun. This one man came on last minute and the driver yelled at him to show him his ticket right away. The guy said "please stop yelling at me" and the driver opened the doors to the bus and said "take your bags and get off!!!" It gets even worse. I was sitting rigt behind the driver adjacent to him. Once we started driving, he began FaceTiming a group of people/friends!!! He had one hand on the wheel and sometimes none. I have a video of evidence of this down below. He was swerving in and out of lanes and honking at all of the cars. Serious road rage. I told him I had to get off because I was having an anxiety attack and was about to throw up. He said that he doesn't stop the bus and I began hyperventilating so he stopped and let me off at a gas station 30 min from departure. My friend had to drive and pick me up and I had to take an different bus the following morning, an actual business class bus that I had a wonderful experience with. Oh yeah, and Not to mention, the website for Red Coach shows business class and luxury seating, seats that recline, have charging cables, and are black. The bus looked absolutely nothing like it, it was a scam from the start!! Please please stay away from this bus. There should be a negative star option for companies like this. The bus was 6 hrs late, customer care service is very rude. I have filed for cancelation and a refund but they said we MAY BE give you a voucher but we can't confirm anything until 7-15 business days. They only gave verbal confirmation of cancelations and no confirmation about how the refund will be processed or if it will be at all (amount back to the credit card or voucher or nothing). They also did not send an official email about cancelation in spite of requesting them. Very very bad experience and would not recommend it to anyone. read more

The bus was delayed 45 minutes and never stopped at my departure location. I reached out to customer service and I was told I would receive an email confirming my refund. 4 days later I haven't received a refund. Follow up e-mails haven't been responded to. Paying $50+ for a regular bus ride in an unclean stinky bus earns 1 star. Ride itself wasn't terrible, but there's absolutely nothing special about Red Coach or their busses. Photos make it look like you'll be riding in luxury, but you won't be. The power outlets might work, but the WiFi will be nonexistent. I tried to cancel my return ride; however, RedCoach requires 24 hour notice and takes up to 50% of the purchase price as a "service fee". Even worse is that you can't even cancel with a person on the phone... you have to do it online. Unsure what garners a "service fee" when you have to use self service to cancel the ticket. If you try to cancel within 24 hours of your ride you won't get a refund of any type, so don't even waste your time. Honestly just take a mega bus, it's a third of the price for the exact same ticket. read more

On time departure from orlando. However when we reached WPB we had to wait almost 45 min. I asked the driver why and he said bc a passenger missed the bus in Orlando we had to wait for them in wpb. There are 20 other passengers trying to make their destinations and now we r ALL late. The policy states if a passenger misses the departure they forfeit their ticket. I paid $59 for a ticket and bc we r more than an hour late I now have to pay $25 for a cab home. I tried to request a refund but of course the site would not let me select my current trip. Another girl is trying to get to MIA to catch a 10pm flight. She probably won't make it and I'm sure red coach will not be accommodating her to help her get to her destination. Rode the bus from West palm beach to Gainesville. I have used this company before and the trip was fine, aside from how annoying it is to stop at their station in Orlando instead of a service plaza with somewhere to eat. The driver was helpful. This is getting 1 star because they advertise luxury and big leather comfortable seats and instead I was on a bus with normal small seats like any other regular bus. HOWEVER I was charged 3 times and never received a ticket confirmation. Upon calling the agent on the hotline I was told they could do nothing about my refund and there was no one available to help, then I tried the chat service online and was greeted with the same resistance, they said it was an issue on my part however they charged my card? that makes no sense it's clearly their booking system. Because of COVID19, I called Red Coach on March 25th to refund 2 tickets. When I first called them, they told me I would only get 70% of my money back for those tickets. I was fine with that and they said I would see the money back on my credit card...Waited a month later, still no money on my account and I called again. They said it's because their refunds are backed up and there's only 1 person making the refunds working from 9am-5pm on Mondays to Fridays. I was sympathetic with them and they said they'll get it fixed in 2 weeks....2 weeks later still no money in my account...I kept calling and a month ago every time I called in the beginning of the week they said I would see the money in my account by the end of the week because it needs time to process...2 and a half months later. Today is June 9th and I still don't have my money back. You know what I think about this company. They don't have enough funds to return their money back to their customers so they keep dragging us along when we call them weekly about our refunds and giving us hope that one day we'll get our money back (it's not because the person working refunds can't keep up with them).
