Best dry rub wings ever, and great margaritas. On a Tuesday so also tried the tacos. Sampling of several different kinds. A little too noisy for a "school night". The nachos coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. read more

Delicious huge burgers and friendly, fast service made this a great dining experience. Our server Tammy was a joy, and we enjoyed the drinks specials and came away with enough food for to-go boxes. The elote was also delicious! read more

I had the honey, ginger, soy wings & they were delicious! My husband had the shrimp street tacos & he enjoyed them also! It was obvious the locals love it too! We love trying local places & this was a good choice! read more

Cute place and nice comfort food menu - stopped in with a friend and had a beer and the chiles rajas tacos which were flavorful, and I loved, loved the elote inside. I thought it was kind of funny that I got an entrée and got 3 small tacos, while my friend ordered the elote nachos which was on the appetizer list, but it was huge! I was still a bit hungry when I got home, and she took food home with her. I guess the nachos are a shareable appetizer. It was nice enough for us to sit outside on the cute patio, but the inside was also really cute and had lots of big TV's. Service was good - fast and friendly. I'll have to bring my husband back as he loves taco salads and nachos! Lot's of great menu items - it was hard to make a choice! read more

This is my second time coming here with a large party (12 people) Service is great, their drinks are fantastic, and food flavorful. Drinks: their gold martinis (comes with dried pineapple), blueberry lemon drop, Manhattan, and smoked Old Fashion are all crowd favorites Food: Chorizo queso (spicy), Birria Tacos, burgers, and Elote Nachos stood out as the best! read more

Dominic is the whole reason I'll be back here! Such wonderful attentive, and the food is great. First time here, but again won't be the last. I got the Sonoran burger and added a fried egg, side salad (with ranch dressing), and a Bloody Mary. 10/10 read more

Another Sonoran restaurant Week meal (yess I was out every night :) ! This one was fantastic and my favorite Sonoran restaurant week meal that I tried! The Mocktail initially I thought was tart and watery however, after mixing upon my friends advice, I found it was perfect! The taco salad was absolutely everything. It was so tasty so flavorful, I really cannot say enough good things about it. The mail came with tacos and which you could choose the meat. I chose Pollo Asada and was not disappointed. I also really liked the green salsa that came with it and found it to be very fresh. The dessert is the only thing that was not a slam dunk for me. I'm not the biggest fan of peaches, so it may just be me but my friend was not a fan of hers either. It had a bread pudding like consistency as well, which is also not my taste. I feel they should have kept their normal dessert, even if it was just to share and that would have been a 10/10 menu! The service was great and very hospitable. I love that they brought crayons and the coloring kids menu for the two toddlers that dined with us. read more

This was our first visit...just not under the best of circumstances. We were waiting for our dog to get released from the ER and we needed a close-by dinner. The food, service and atmosphere were just what we needed. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos & street corn and my husband ordered the steak tacos. Everything was delicious and that street corn is downright addictive! Our server was so pleasant and she made the whole experience easy. We will definitely be back when we can explore the menu and just relax during a meal. read more

The food was really tasty! We came for happy hour and had the best margaritas! we got the pretzels as an appetizer and they were delicious... warm and salty and so good with the mustard and cheese! I got the Sonoran burger which was good but I probably wouldn't get it again, too many conflicting flavors but the smash burger patties were very good. We tried the waffle fries and they were good but with so much food we took them home. Love the warm towels they bring you after you eat to clean up! Overall I'm looking forward to going back and trying some other things and definitely going back for the margs! Service was great, very fast and the restaurant has outdoor seating when it starts to get a little cooler out! read more

We had tried to go here a few months back and were put off by the 45-60 minute wait. This time we remembered to get on the list before we headed over and so were able to be seated as soon as we got there. Everything we ate tasted very fresh. We started with shrimp ceviche which was really juicy and flavorful and the shrimp were not soggy (which can happen with mass produced ceviche). My companion had a blue mushroom burger which was incredible (and I will definitely get one the next time we come). The meat was tender and juicy and they had just the right ratio of burger to blue cheese. I had the harvest salad with grilled shrimp on it and it had all the flavors. Finally we had cinnamon roll bread pudding. It comes out with cinnamon toast cereal on it and I was initially dubious but it actually provided a nice crunchy contrast to the softer bread pudding. That being said, we shared it- I would never have gotten through a whole piece on my own due to the sweetness. All in all a lovely meal- would come again, as long as we make reservations in advance . Life is too short to wait in long lines for a table. read more

Fun vibes, MASSIVE nachos, and really great drinks! Appreciated Ava R and her recommendations!

First time here and was not disappointed! Saw a thing for Tucson foodie on it and had to try it! The passion fruit Maya tea was very crisp and refreshing. For the food I went with grilled shrimp tacos. Very tasty. Also the mac n cheese was super creamy and on point. Will definitely come back to try more stuff. Service was great and I enjoyed the environment. Outside seating area is very nice read more

Really good food! The nachos were unbelievable. The tacos were amazing, filled up and generous. I had the harvest salad and it was okay but not special. Stick with tacos and burgers. Service was really good and friendly. I thought it was a bit loud but still enjoyable. read more

This is such a great dinner spot. If you're going for dinner and don't want to wait, I'd definitely suggest making a reservation. The food feels intentional and well sourced. The burgers are great from bun to meat to grilled onions. If you get the fries (and I suggest you do) do not skip on getting a side of the cheese sauce to dip. We were celebrating a birthday this visit and were given a slice of the creatively plated Cinnamon Toast Crunch bread pudding. It was delightful. (The cocktail menu is a treat too, if that's your kind of thing. Got a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives that was done properly!) read more

I had a good experience with this restaurant. I'm pretty sure their lemonade is made from scratch and tastes amazing. I also got the chicken sandwich which was good too. The servers were really nice especially the girl who was a trainee server at the time did great. The only thing is my dad got sick later that day and he got a burger, maybe he just had a bug but i also thought it might have been that the burger was undercooked. read more

Local restaurants using fresh ingredients and sources as much as they can locally. The food is superb. The garlic confit pretzel was my fav. Service was attentive. Not a large space ( they do have indoor and outdoor seating) and I'm sure there would be a wait during peak hours... even at 8pm it was hopping. In fact, apart from the food... the late hours of operation is a huge plus - especially in Tucson where dine in restaurants tend to close early. read more

The restaurant opened December 11th when we visited Redbird. Usually when they open a new restaurant we wait to visit and let them work the kinks out, but that was not the case!! Argentina our waitress was amazing and very attentive. The food was very savory and flavorful. I had the loaded wings, daughter had elote nachos which we will order again, and son had a Sonoran chicken sandwich. Guys go check this place out! read more

Ryan was an amazing bartender! Made me a wonderful margarita!! Recommended the elote nachos and they were so delicious!!

Today was our third time at Redbirds and it's still getting better! We have always had a great experience here. Great environment, excellent service and always fast! We finally had the opportunity to go see what they hype was all about! The Hype is REAL! We were greeted upon arrival and asked if we could sit barside. Once we picked our seats we were once again warmly greeted and offered to get us waters while we decided what to order.my hubby loves margaritas but Hayes it when they are too sweet. He took a chance and ordered one loved it! It was well made and delicious! I stuck with a pint of beer and it was nice and cold! I ordered their special hamburger, I like things spicy so this one fit the bill. It was amazing! Super tasty, edges of the patties nice and caramelized, tons of melted cheese and lots of peppers. It was not overly spicy so order it. My hubs ordered the Sonoran Burger which was equally delicious! We shared some fries which are waffle. Waffle fries need to be cooked right so they are crispy and properly salted. These were both! Wonderful attentive service, one of the owners was working and helping out, and thanked us for our visit. When they say it's scratch made they mean it! It's a hit! We will return when we are in that side of town for sure! By noon the entire restaurant was full! Noise level was not bad even with all the people in there! Awesome vibe for sure! read more

Everything was delicious. Definitely get the Elote Nachos. Chrissy Chicken (Buffalo Chicken Sandwhich) was very good. Norris tacos and grilled shrimp tacos were excellent. As you can see, I have reviewed 1,200 plus restaurants and this is one of my favorite newbie restaurants I have ever reviewed. A must visit; an exciting addition to the vibrant restaurant scene in Tucson. Dive deep in the chicken wings, augmented with a salad. Corn nachos: the fricking bomb! Would give this 7 stars. When both the food and service are exceptional, it's a clear sign that you need to visit this place. The Elote Nachos are truly the best I've ever tasted! We arrived just an hour after they opened, and although we had to wait about 20 minutes, it was well worth it. They say a wait often indicates quality, and this spot certainly lives up to that saying. It's absolutely fantastic! read more

My friend and I stopped in for lunch today and had such a wonderful experience. Our server, I believe her name was Ash, was just lovely. She was so patient with us and took the time to explain the shrimp ceviche and the different salsas. She even showed us the proper way to eat it, which we really appreciated. The food was delicious! It's rare these days to meet someone so genuine and helpful. We left very happy and will definitely be coming back. read more
