This place used to just be the unnamed bar by DU that everyone knew about, and a couple weeks ago they finally got an actual name.
Nothing else about it changed though, which honestly is exactly what you want.
It's a proper neighborhood bar, bartenders are genuinely nice, regulars everywhere, no pretension at all.
There's no cocktail menu, you just tell them what you're in the mood for and they'll make you something good, I've had a really solid old fashioned, a Manhattan, and a martini here and every single one has been well made.
Beer and liquor selection covers you too. Get the
charcuterie board if you're there early in the night.
And if you're around on a Sunday, the spaghetti is normally $10 a plate but it's all you can eat for $14 that day, which is a genuinely great deal. This is one of those bars that doesn't need to try hard to be good, it just is. read more
