I highly recommend this Red Wing store and recommend the Red Wing shoes they have to offer. I have visited this store 3 times and each time has been an excellent experience. The first time on 8/05, I was looking for my first pair of Red Wing shoes and the representatives Cherry and her mother (apologies for forgetting her name) helped me with my foot scan and exploring the slip on boot options. Working that day I tried on several pairs of shoes with two different inserts and they were extremely patient with my trials and present to answer any of my questions. Today 09/27, I spent about 3 hours in store. I had caught rush hour and the representatives Will and Grant helped me when they could. Will helped me figure out how to contact corporate and send them an email about my first pair of boots I had bought on 08/05. After that they bounced around from customer to customer before getting to me but I waited patiently as they were ahead of me and I understand the amount of detail it takes to find the right pair of boots. Once I received help, Grant asked me what I was in for today. I explained my situation and he got right to work and fetched a few pairs of boots and a few inserts for me to try. He checked in on me just enough to comfortably review the inserts and boots without feeling being rushed on deciding what worked and what didn't work. When a pair wasn't in store, he checked who had an available pair in the size I was curious about. He was patient with me going back and forth between pairs and inserts. Eventually I asked about Irish Setters and he didn't hesitate to get a pair from the back and another pair of inserts. At this point it was about 30 minutes till close and Grant didn't seem to mind I was still there and made sure that the boots and inserts were working out for me. After 3 long hours of reviewing and combining different inserts with different boots, I made my choice on the Irish Setters. Within those 3 hours, I noticed Will was working diligently with other customers and Grant was the pure embodiment of peak customer service. When other customers came in, I let him know he could help them and I'd flag him down if I needed him and he greatly appreciated the fact I let him help others so that they don't wait so long since I knew I was going to take a while. If I could tip for service like you would at a restaurant, I would've given Grant gratuity based off of his service and attitude. This location hasn't let me down and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Do not hesitate to visit here if you are looking for a pair of boots and don't know where to go. The workers here will be ready to help and get you what you need. read more

So after my horrible visit at the Red Wing on Kyrene and Warner (see that review on Google), I decided to give Redwing another shot and visited this location on Pecos and Higley. First of all I'm not sure if this is family owned or a franchise, but this store has a completely different atmosphere. All of the inventory seemed to be the same as the other store, but the level of customer service, professionalism and high energy makes this place one of the best stores that I've been to in a long time. I recommend this place for the staff alone. The shoes are going to be the same at any Redwing store. I was quickly greeted by every employee in the store with smiles and "I"ll be right with you!" Michael helped me and he is truly a godsend. He asked me questions and actually listened to me and let me talk without interruption. He took note of my complaints and was able to find a solution for my aching feet. He took size and measurement of my feet with some sort of graph that detailed where most of the pressure was going. He then went on explaining all kinds of things to me about shoes, feet, bones, and tendons that I never knew. He was very patient and full of information. I bought a pair of shoes, sole inserts, some really comfortable socks, and leather conditioner. The shoes feel amazing. They feel like pillows are hugging on top of my feet. I think the prices are reasonable for the quality of shoe you're getting. I actually didn't look at any of the prices of any of the items until check out. That is highly unusual for me as I'm normally quite the penny pincher, but I truly trusted that he wasn't selling me anything I didn't need. To everyone in the valley: It's worth making the drive to this store. I can't verify customer service at any of the other stores (besides Warner and Kyrene) but the staff at this location is wonderful. Sue is too funny, she'll have you laughing. read more

Was in need of OSHA compliant boots, first time getting a Red Wing and the staff were amazing to talk to and work with to figure out what was comfortable. They have fancy technology that helps you figure out your shoe-size and walk style. Shout out to Jewel, she greeted me first thing and understood what kind of boots I needed. She answered all my questions with detail and explained the difference between the pairs we looked at, she's knowledgeable and I learned a lot. The boots are all high quality, they're comfortable, they look nice and they offer wide foot options. Overall an awesome experience and great customer service. I'll definitely be going back here next time I need more boots. read more

I have been struggling to find a good boot for work. Especially tired of buying online where you can't try them on. Went to Red Wing in Gilbert, AZ. Mady was very knowledgeable of their product. I finally selected the Boa. Non steel toe gives me protection with less weight than steel. I especially like the knob and cable laces. Quick and easy adjustment, even on the job. Pull the knob up and they released. It understand they will contact me when it is time to "Service" my boots. Can't wait to see what that is all about. Kevin K read more

Just aant to start off by saying the staff here were amazing to me and amazing to work with on finding something that was going to work with me. Denine the manager here at Gilbert Red Wing was a blessing to me from the good Lord. I was very excited when I first walked into the store. I have been really wanting a pair of moc toes and I was excited to get fitted for them. I went back to the store and Michael spent over an hour to help me find a much more comfortable pair for work and answered all of my questions, he was super polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. I would completely recommend this store to anyone! Definetly am going to go back and look at other pairs and insoles! read more

With Covid-19 considerations only one customer is allowed in the store. Michael helped me find the right boots to fit my feet and my style and to the specifications of my job. He found the right orthotics to support my arches and he explained to me how to take care of what is now my best pair of boots. He also recommended fancy socks and knows the difference between a blake stitch and a Goodyear welt. I do recommended this location. read more

The staff was very informative taking their time to help us understand how and why different options could work for us. We spent an hour or more there and never felt rushed. They were all friendly and willing to jump in and help. After 1 week of my husband wearing his new boots his back pain is gone. The staff practiced social distancing and wore their masks. We highly recommend them if you need excellent work boots or shoes. read more

I bought the same pair of shoes three times in a row. Each lasting over two years. I recently bought a different pair because they were a new style and had a sharp look to them. The souls were completely gone after 4 1/2 months. I brought them into the store and they gave me a brand new pair of the shoes I normally bought, free of charge. I got no hassle at all from them. That's how business should be done. Thank you! read more

When I was there at this store I mentioned some of issues about my boot that I had. The manager remeasured my foot and it turned out I may have been the wrong size previously. So she proceded by giving me a new boot and a pair of the unlimited waranty socks! Making sure of course my foot actually fit in this shoe correctly to make sure the shoe lasted as long as possible. Overall a great experience in the end! read more

I have been wearing Redwings for the last 20 years. I have always been happy with them. I spend about 12 hours a day in my work boots. I've been buying boots from Red Wing Boots for years because of the service they offer, the comfort of their products and the long term wear I get from a pair of boots. This location is owned/operated by a small family and they do great job, highly recommend! They offer a wide selection of boots with a variety of accessories to go along with them. Custom boot fitting with a courteous staff you can't go wrong. read more

Needed a new pair of boots for work. Was connected with Michael who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with getting me set up with a very comfortable set of boots. Super kind and willing to take his time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It may be a bit pricey but I would argue you get more than what you pay for in boots and service. Thanks again. read more

I bought the traction tred chukka recently and love them. I had them stretch out my boots and they feel perfect! I will only buy boots from Red Wing. The quality of the shoes are unmatched and I've had King Toe's as well and still wear them 3 years later. I go through shoes fast and I can't get over how long these Red Wings last me. read more

Outstanding service, as always. Personal history looked up my boots that were in stock in my size from my personal history. Even with the covid issues going on I've never had better service. Was quick and easy at an honest price. This review took longer than my personal one on one service. Thank you again see you in a year. read more
