If you're not already sipping coffee at Red Silo, WYD? Red Silo has been around for years in Arvada, Longmont, and Golden but their new Platte Street location is an absolute gem. I stopped by recently and was seriously impressed. The space is warm and welcoming, the team is super friendly, and it's got major WFH-or-just-hang vibes. Here's what I tried: Orange Creamsicle Espresso Tonic (seasonal) - So refreshing. Honestly, I'd buy this by the gallon. Iced Ube Matcha - Beautiful, earthy, and balanced. Iced Chai Latte with Oat Milk - Smooth, spiced just right. Almond Croissant - Flaky and rich. Cinnamon Roll - Soft and just sweet enough. GF/Vegan Chocolate Espresso Bundt - Incredible texture, rich chocolate flavor, and you'd never guess it was gluten-free or vegan. GF Carrot Bundt - Moist, flavorful, and super satisfying. Whether you're meeting a friend, editing a video, or grabbing a quick coffee and pastry, Red Silo on Platte is an easy new favorite. I'll definitely be back!

***bbbbbbbangerrrrrrrr alert on platte streeet*** First, I want to thank yelp for having a collab with Red Silo-- I am a coffee / espresso snob and haven't heard of red silo prior to this! So yay yelp for the exposure to new coffee spots :) Shelley, the owner, was sooo kind and helped me this morning. I got a decaf (dont judge me I am BF my newborn) oatmilk cortado , sausage breakfast burrito and carrot cake to go! I usually hate ordering decaf because it tastes bitter, but when Shelley told me they pay attention to their decaf I trusted her. She was not kidding! First sip and I was in heaven, it was so smooth and delightful!! The sausage breakfast burrito was very high quality and the perfect size. My belly was warm and full after eating. I believe Shelley mentioned they're from a local vendor Spruce. Last but not least, the carrot cake. Oh M Geeeeeee--- Shelley told me all the pastries are made in house and the carrot cake in particular is a family recipe and gluten free. This was absolutely the best carrot cake I have had since moving to Colorado from NYC. I would go back just for the carrot cake alone-- you really wouldn't know it's gluten free either! Warmed up the cake is spongy with yummy spices, and has a nice crunch with nuts. I loved the cream cheese frosting, it had the right ratio frosting to the cake, and was not overly sweet. Melt in your mouth yummyness!!! Loved the plant decor and exposed brick. Very cute and clean ambiance. Absolutely cannot wait to come back and or visit other locations!

This place is a quaint win for Platte St. Local roasters with delicious cold brew. Seriously some of the best cold brew I have ever had. And the supplier for cold brew for New Terrain Brewery - my whole heart! Red Silo even has their own bourbon cold brew. Get this with the cold brew and skip Starbucks forever. The pastry case was a bit underwhelming. I cannot vouch for everything in there but I sure can for the carrot bundt cake that is YUMMY! And gluten free, a family grandmother's recipe, and the owner's wedding cake flavor. Does not get any more local business than that. Disclaimer: as a Yelp Elite, I was offered access to complimentary drink, pastry, and food item to review the business. This does not dictate the outcome of the review.

This is such a great coffee shop! First of all, they source all their beans themselves. They've visited multiple coffee farms abroad to test beans and ensure they'd supporting good people, which is so beautiful! And it also shows in their coffee selection. I got the Nicaraguan iced coffee and it was so smooth. Just a really good coffee. Secondly, the pastries are old family recipes or outsourced from a place in Boulder. Same with the food. It's great to see local businesses supporting other local business! The turkey pesto panini was out of this world - the bread was so unique and crunchy. The gluten free carrot cake was also good, and I'm not a big carrot cake girl. I had to try since it was grandma's recipe! One of the co-owners was there when I visited and she was absolutely lovely. She spoke with me all about the business and their goals, and it really just makes you want to support them! I ended up dining in, and the shop had plenty of space to sit and different options of set up. It's also conveniently located next to shops and bars, so you could have a whole day after visiting here! I highly, highly recommend!!

Stopped in here after working up an appetite at Yoga. This coffee shop was very clean and I loved all the plants they had on the shelves. I gave it a very modern hipster vibe. Parking was easy although it is street parking. It wasn't very busy mid morning. I was here as part of a Yelp elite event I got to taste lots of things off the menu. I loved the diesel fuel coffee with MTC oil and the blueberry muffin, so very delicious! I will definitely be back for those in the future. The person joining me got a latte and a burrito that they really enjoyed. I thought the latte art was really cute and included it in my pictures. This would be a great place to stop and work, they had plenty of tables and space for a laptop. It's also in a really great area if you're downtown and just need a break from your office. I will definitely be back, I plan to try all the pastries... They were all beautifully displayed. They do offer the option to have your coffee served and to go cups or big mugs to enjoy in the shop.

    Assortment of drinks and pastries!

Went in to try some of their seasonal fall drinks. The pumpkin spiced latte was my fav! Not too sweet, and the pastries were also really good and made in house. Perfect environment for working or meeting a friend. They also have non coffee options such as energy drinks.

Love that the menu displays. Big. Colorful. Informative.

Fantastic coffee and food place. A Yelp event brought us here and we loved it so much we expect to keep coming back. We tried the spicy chai. Yummers! The space is so inviting and comfortable. Tools and beans to make the coffee at home are readily available to purchase and continue the awesome experience at home. Invite friends over to enjoy it together when not at Red Silo. The space was very well laid out. Tables with benches. Comfy chairs. Beautiful lights completing the magical experience. The food is incredibly delicious with a great variety of choices. Hearty options like Paninis or Breakfast burritos. Delicious pastries as well... including gluten friendly options--M&M bars. Peanut butter bars. Banana bread. Carrot Cake. Chocolate and almond croissants. Cinnamon buns. Many more. All made in house at their Arvada location, no wonder they appear so amazing! Their beans/coffee are their specialty, but they also have non-coffee items where the kombucha got my interest and is on deck for my next visit. They have a variety of teas as well. They opened last July but everything looks so fresh and new. I have gone to many coffee places and I would have to say this one is my favorite one due to everything being 5 stars: drinks, food, access to water (self serve filtered water spout and cups)., super friendly and helpful staff. Cool things to buy to take home--beans, carafe, tea pot, canvas bags. They thought of everything. Great lighting, layout, different seating options--comfy chairs arranged together or chairs with tables or tables with one side having a bench. Lots of space. Great poster showing where their coffee beans come from.Bulletin board to post and see local information. On their coffee bags it says:"Cultivating Community through Coffee... one Beautifully Roasted Cup at a Time." I would agree that they definitely are doing that!

Cute new location! Street parking available. Came in the morning before clinic and was received a cheery greeting and helpful recommendations for the many options in the pastry counter. They have a fun mix of treats, including those that are gluten-free; all are made in-house at their Arvada location! I loved open space and seating options at this location, which gets plenty of natural light and has a nice open feel-- would be perfect for doing work as well as meeting up with friends. Looking forward to visiting again!

I'm always looking for new coffee shops, especially ones that are small businesses, so I'm glad I came by to check out Red Silo. As soon as I walked in the staff greeted me and made me feel super welcome. They made great suggestions for coffee and food. I ended up getting an iced spicy dirty chai and the turkey sausage and egg sammie. I loved the amount of spice in the dirty chai, and the sammie was the perfect breakfast item. The Platte location is in a really convenient location, and it's super cute. It would be a great place to work or to hang out with a friend. Lots of options for seating. Definitely will be back!

Cute spot on Platte. Mixture of both table seating and relaxing chairs to choose from. There were quite a few people in there during the time we stopped in, around 10am on a week day. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the raspberry pistachio latte, as I didn't like it raspberry that was used. The ham, egg, and cheese sandwich and blueberry muffin were both tasty! I did bring my toddler in and didn't see a high chair, though I will admit I didn't ask for one.

Another winner on Platte Street! Just be aware parking can be tough and it is metered (worth it, though). Came by on a weekday morning to get some work done and can attest this is a spot where you can do just that. While there aren't outlets at every seat, there are enough to go around. They also have comfy chairs to sit and read and plenty of other seating options if you want to catch-up with some friends. Staff is friendly and I was happy to discover pastries are made (and beans roasted) at one of their other locations. I had a blueberry scone but heard the croissants are yummy - if you get there early enough to snag one. The spicy chocolate chai (dirty, of course) which was very yummy, as was the sausage burrito. I enjoyed starting my day at Red Silo and am looking forward to coming back and trying more of their fun coffee creations.

    Hello Platte St.
    Ilana S.

What a gorgeous coffee shop! And with so much seating! Upon entry, you can feel the calm in this beautiful, clean, space. One of the first things I noticed- the acoustics. You can actually have a conversation in here without echos or being drowned out, or you can work in peace without absorbing the conversation at the table next to you. The music was also so perfect for the vibe. Renee greeted us at the register and was so welcoming and kind! I also got the opportunity to meet the owner, Shelley, who was so personable and friendly. We ordered a latte, drip coffee, bacon breakfast burrito, and the banana bread and all were delicious! We even bought a bag of beans before we left. I would order any of these again, and also am eyeing a brownie for next time. Shelley let me know they make all of the food in house, which I loved knowing. Despite many folks working or chatting with friends, babies, even a service dog, there were still open tables. Also, nice to know, the chairs are really comfortable. Highly recommend this new-to-lodo spot, and I will definitely be back!!

Confluence needed a coffee shop just like Red Silo. This place is going to be a hit. I love how all their ingredients are sourced locally or verified sustainably. They roast all their beans in house and almost all their food is also made in house. This is about to become your favorite place to "work from anywhere" because the staff is welcoming and makes you feel at home. I had a delicious panini with awesome turkey, perfectly melty cheese and fabulous touch of pesto. The coffee was stunning, as to be expected. Not bitter and all and very refreshing. The almond pastry was melt in your mouth. I ate it too quickly and got sad when I was done because it was already gone. This is place you'll be coming back to over and over again.

Ask the Community - Red Silo Coffee Roasters

Is there outdoor seating? Is it bike friendly? Or at least a place to park bikes within sight of indoor seating? Thanks!

There isn't outdoor seating, but there is tons of bike parking near the shop. It's right off the Platte River trail, so it's a very bike/pedestrian friendly area!
