It's been a longgggg time since we graced red lobster with our presence but we went and tried the shrimp all you can eat special. I love coconut shrimp and everyone got to try different options. The restaurant is definitely in better shape than the last time we came, many years ago. I gave 5 stars bc the service was great and the food was as expected for RL With that said food was prob more 4 stars worth.

Red Lobster in Webster, TX -- Best Bites Approved! Last week, after a quick trip to Houston, we were all starving -- and, of course, everyone had a different restaurant in mind. My husband, who claims he never gets to choose (he does), was craving Red Lobster. My grandson and I reluctantly agreed, since my last Red Lobster visit years ago left much to be desired. We GPSed the closest location from Hobby Airport and ended up at the Webster spot. And let me just say -- what a pleasant surprise! Our meal started with the famous complimentary cheddar biscuits. OMG. I've sworn off bread, but my grandson insisted I try just half. Melt-in-your-mouth, sinfully good. I ate the other half. No regrets. For entrees, my husband went with the grilled flounder, served with seasoned broccoli and coleslaw. He raved about how tender and flavorful it was -- clean, simple, and satisfying. My grandson and I both ordered the Salmon New Orleans -- and wow. Perfectly blackened Atlantic salmon, topped with juicy grilled shrimp, Cajun butter sauce, and a tomato-cilantro relish. Tender, flaky, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Our sides were just as impressive: seasoned broccoli and crispy Brussels sprouts drizzled with a soy-ginger glaze and topped with crispy onions. Flavorful, well-prepared, and the perfect complement to our entrees. We left full, happy, and completely satisfied. I never thought I'd say this, but this Red Lobster in Webster has changed my mind. I'd gladly go back -- and that's saying a lot. Best Bites approved!

We were a party of 8 having an early dinner for Father's Day. I had the Salmon New Orleans with seasoned broccoli and a baked potato. This featured a salmon steak, topped with a creamy sauce and grilled shrimp. It was quite delicious. The baked potato was adequate, but the broccoli was not seasoned very well. It was kind of bland. The others in my party enjoyed their dishes and Lobster Flatbread as an appetizer was a homerun. Service was excellent and the server was on point with refills and special requests. We had to wait quite some time to be seated (about 20 minutes) despite having a reservation and arriving on time. The classic lemonade was pretty good. The overall ambiance is nice and the lobsters in the tank is an authentic touch. We will be back.

Antonio was an amazing server! He remembered the whole order without writing it down. We even asked for upgraded sides and items.

Traveled 12 hours and still had to wait 20 extra minutes for my to go order to be ready smdh

This place isn't good for someone that values their time. If you're a bum, unemployed or a child that still lives at home, this might be your place. I wonder if they've thought about being dine-in only, because they don't have the expertise or ability to have a carry out order ready in under 20 minutes past the expected time. Today I literally travelled 9 hours for business and all i wanted was a hot meal to eat when I got home. I placed my order & it said it would be ready at 8:10. I got there at 8:09 and still had to wait until 8:30 for my order to be ready. That's completely unacceptable. I order in advance because I don't want to have to wait 20-30 minutes for my order to be ready. If you can't do to-go right, just don't do it at all. And it's not just that they don't make the order until you get there, they also forget items 99% of the time. Only twice out of the 14x I've ordered did they get my items right, both times it was a petite women, every time it's been wrong It's always been older guys. Just avoid this place for takeout altogether.

Roach crawling during our dinner. Don't know if it was 2 or the same one but seen one crawling across then another shortly after the opposite way. Told waiter and he said it's an old building ... manager said oh ok we will advise . They charged extra on Alfredo sauce when the pasta was dry. Tried taking pic of roach but came out blurry

We had so many restaurant options but chose this place because of the high ratings... and I'm so glad we did. I'll be honest--when we first arrived, I wasn't impressed with the outside or the area. I was a little hesitant going in. But the moment we walked through the doors, everything changed. The place felt welcoming, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere--yes, a little loud--but in a good way. It's that lively Mexican vibe: music, micheladas, carne asada... all of it. We were just tired, so I think I noticed it more. Now let's talk about the food... I ordered the Maestro Plate but swapped the meat for short rib costillas--and OH. MY. GOSH. These were hands down some of the best costillas I've ever had. Juicy, tender, packed with flavor. I cleaned those bones completely--every single bite. The dish was served with perfectly grilled "nopales" and queso panela, que ricura! Ahhh, and of course the charro beans and rice that I barely made a dent in. The portions? HUGE. Two of us shared one plate and still had leftovers--and we can eat! Now this part says everything: my grandson, who is on the spectrum and very picky, ordered pollo asado... and he tore into it. No complaints, no hesitation--he finished his entire plate. That alone speaks volumes. My daughter had the birria (and she's a birria critic), and even she couldn't finish her plate because of how generous the portion was--but she said it was full of flavor and really good. My older grandson (big growing boy with an equally big appetite) had a birria quesadilla--again, huge portion--and even he couldn't finish it, which never happens. To top it all off, the owner surprised us with a complimentary dessert--warm, soft, pillowy sopapillas with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. The kids were FULL... and still devoured every last bite. Not a crumb left. And let's talk about pricing... honey. Compared to Austin? This was a steal. I was honestly shocked at how affordable it was for the quality and portion sizes. Amazing food, generous portions, great service, and a place that turned my hesitation into loyalty. They've earned our business--100%. We will absolutely be back next time we're in town.

A few open tables to the right and several open tables to the very far left (where additional restrooms are). The hosts said hi.. it was a little awkward so, I said Hi there, a table for two please. She said well, do you have a reservation? I said no, we don't. Her and the other hostesses looked at each other, looked back at us, the hostesses that wasn't the one who greeted us, grabbed our menus and said follow me. We sat at a high top table in the bar area, we were on the far left, right by a wall and directly under a TV. We sat there for a while, the tables next to us were getting service, their server went by their table twice before someone came to our table. I hate waiving my hand a a server, but we could only look at the same menu for so long so, I gave a little hand gesture to catch her attention. She put her finger up and said someone will be with you. I looked at my husband and asked him if he wanted to go somewhere else. Before he could answer our server finally came to our table. There was no apology, no explanation for why we waited for so long, nothing but, what can I get for y'all to drink. We ordered our drinks, she tried walking off, but I said can we please also order the oysters Rockefeller. She brought us water and bread. The bread was room temperature, not warm. Not sure if it's supposed to be warm but, it seems like it should be. We waited for our drinks. The bartender was busy making drinks and taking care of people who were sitting at the bar. Our oysters came to our table before our drinks did and our server was no where to be found. The oysters were all great but, some were on the smaller side. This was not a great start. Our drinks and server finally arrived. We ordered the escargot and the wedge salad. Our server did let us know that the romaine lettuce was grilled. She asked us if we wanted it grilled or did we prefer it cold. We chose cold and I thanked her for letting us know and that she was clutch! She actually cracked a smile and started being more friendly. We also asked for an extra plate because we were going to split the salad, she said oh, I will have the salad split for y'all. After she walked away, I looked at my husband and said finally! I thought the escargot was delicious, my husband wasn't a fan. He had never had escargot before and probably never will. I will gladly eat his! The wedge salads were delicious too! Our server came by to check on us, we ordered two more drinks. Our server was being friendly and she was even talkative! It was actually nice to see that. We ordered the crab cakes. They were good, but not seared or cooked evenly. The sauce to dip them in was really good! After all that, we had enough. I wish that I would've asked for our servers name. She had brown hair, about 5'3"-5'5". Our experience wasn't the best at all, but at the end of our experience, it was better than the start. Will we be back? Not sure.. if we do, we will try to sit at the bar.

We also tried the chimichurri oysters, which were fresh, clean, and beautifully briny. The salmon--ordered medium--and the one-pound portion of crawfish were equally impressive. The salmon, in particular, was cooked to perfection--tender, moist, and well-seasoned. To be honest, the exterior of the restaurant is not especially impressive.
