This place was 10/10. The house seasoning with combo 1 (snow crab, lobster tail, shrimp, potatoes, corn, boiled eggs) and the 1 lb crawfish were soooo good. I want to come here at least once a week to experience how good seafood boils are because I truly forgot. This is probably one of the best if not the best seasoning I've had in a boil. Not pictured is the delicious combo fried rice that had mini shrimp, crawfish, and sausages in it. It was a decent quantity for $14, and it tasted so yummy. I also loved how attentive and kind our server was. She kept checking in on us and literally had the best attitude and personality and even brought us lemon wedges with melted butter with extra seasoning powder on the side. Saw that a tiktok influencer did multiple reviews on this restaurant and the food looked good so I wanted to give it a try. We ordered two lemon drops, the wings with the house seasoning and a seafood boil with snow crab and shrimp. They had a special where you get a half a pound of shrimp free with the purchase of a pound. The food was very underwhelming though, to say the least. The boil seasoning was a thick, gravy like consistency.. the wings and lemon drops were okay but my glass was sticky from the simple syrup that was used to put sugar on the rim. I've been a regular here for a while and usually order the same thing: 2 lbs of crawfish with 2 corns and 2 eggs. Up until now, I've never had any issues. Unfortunately, this recent visit left me really disappointed. I placed a to-go order for my usual, but when I got home, it was clearly not 2 lbs more like 1 lb and the crawfish were very small, with several broken pieces. I understand that size can vary depending on the season, but this batch felt well below their usual standard. I called the restaurant and spoke with the store manager, who told me I could bring the order back for a refund or have it remade. I decided to return it and get it remade. When I arrived, the store manager took the food to the back and came back saying the kitchen manager had weighed it and claimed it was 2 lbs (which it definitely wasn't). He stated that the kitchen manager said they could reheat it with more sauce or refund me. I politely asked for it to be remade just as he (the store manager) had offered over the phone but was told that the kitchen manager refused, saying it would be a "waste" since they'd also have to throw out the batch I returned and insisted the portion was already accurate. I reminded the store manager that he had said a remake was possible, but but he stood by the kitchen manager's decision and refused to remake the order. I asked who was actually in charge, and he explained that he manages the front of house (FOH) while the kitchen manager controls the back of house (BOH), treating them like separate operations. I understand the distinction between FOH and BOH, but ultimately, they are part of the same business. As the store manager, he should have been the highest authority on site especially in a situation like this, where the goal should be resolving a customer issue. As someone with food service management experience myself I found that explanation frustrating and inadequate. For a $21 order, it really didn't seem like a big deal to remake and comp it, especially for a returning customer. I even asked to speak with the general manager and was told they were out of town so the person I was dealing with was the lead manager on shift. Still, he wouldn't remake the order and just gave me a refund. I wasn't even looking for a refund I just really wanted it remade because I was genuinely craving crawfish. That's what made the whole situation more frustrating. I came back hoping for a simple fix, not a refund, and instead was met with pushback and no real effort to make it right. While I'm glad I receive a refund, the way the situation was handled left a bad taste in my mouth. There was no genuine effort to make things right, and it felt like the kitchen manager had more authority than the store manager, the very person who should be responsible for addressing and resolving customer concerns. There seemed to be little concern for customer satisfaction and no willingness to work together to resolve the issue. I was very dissatisfied with my experience here. From the moment we were seated, the service felt rushed and unwelcoming. The waitress immediately asked if we were ready to order without even giving us a chance to look at the menu. When I mentioned that this was our first time dining here, she simply walked away without offering any guidance or explanation. When we finally placed our order, we weren't informed that corn and potatoes came with the crawfish--we found that out on our own. One of our crawfish bags came out without seasoning, and when I asked the waitress about it, she didn't offer an explanation and just walked off. A man (possibly the manager or cook) then came out and was very aggressive, insisting that's what I ordered. I calmly explained that I knew what I asked for, and that this was not correct, but he continued to argue rather than try to resolve the issue. When we were ready to pay, the waitress brought over a device to process the payment without showing or explaining the total. I was shocked to see the charge was $170.45 for 8 lbs of crawfish, 3 fountain drinks, and Combo #2. No receipt was provided and no breakdown of charges was offered. We ordered 3 pounds of crawfish when we got the crawfish it was so mushy and a light color. It tasted like an old over cooked batch of crawfish. We had asked for a new batch and when we got the new one we only received 2 pounds instead of 3 keep in mind we barely touched the crawfish from the first batch we just ate 1 corn out of 3 and took one bite of a potato. When we got the check they tried to still charge us for 3 and stated that because we ate a corn and a bite of a potato that's why they charged us for 3. Food is so so good and I've never had a bad experience here with the workers up until the other day, hostess Noey is very rude and she honestly needs to go back and redo all of her training. We walked in to pick up our food she didn't say hi or welcome, no greeting just told us "not ready yet" and didn't give us an estimate, we just said okay thank you. When our order was ready we went up there to grab it and she didn't say a single word just handed us the food and didn't even look at us. Mind you we were nice to her the entire time and never complained about wait time or anything. The 4 star rating is for the rest of the employees who have always been nice and given us a warm welcome. Great location. Didn't get a greeting when we walked in and the fact that there were 3 workers standing there watching us until we asked them are we supposed to sit ourselves? Before they stopped talking to help us was kind of rude. Now our server Marc was great. He was always in sight and was never needed to be called on because he made sure he kept on checking on us. Had a regular mojito that didn't come out to good so I had to send it back but the Long Island iced tea was perfect. The food was really tasty. I ordered a fried shrimp and fries basket. I ordered my son a kid's fish and fries. My husband called it in, he asked the man to repeat the order back TWICE. He repeated it back, got there picked up food and food was wrong AND my food was missing. My son's food was right but sister in law's food was completely wrong she got some spicy garlic crab, corn and potatoes nonsense, no sausage tho. My husband called back to ahead to let them know of their mistake. Someone picked up and told him bring it back. My husband, annoyed because he had to go back- felt like he didn't need to check it since the guy said it was right. We packed up the sack of wrong, while my son ate his & he went back, showed them the receipt and the credited him for their mistake & remade the wrong. So he had to wait around another 15-20 mins to fix it and come home. With those 8 little shrimp, change the name to "fries with a side of shrimp" for 12-13 bucks. The sausage, corn & potatoes had no seasoning. If we wanted bland microwaves potatoes and corn we could have just made a trip the next exit over to Walmart instead. Lol To summarize, just make it yourself OR try 7 Spice crawfish down the road. You got the 2 stars for the fixing mistake. read more

While in Houston this time we decided to try Twin Crabs. Our food was great. We had the three item combo (snow crab legs, lobster, and shrimp). We had the Cajun Hot and the Garlic Butter Hot sauces. Both were very well seasoned. The "Hot" is not just a lot of Cayenne Pepper. The thing that impressed me the most was that the Lobster was not over cooked. Our orders came with one piece of corn and potatoes. It was not super crowded so service was very good. The staff wore gloves and mask. They were also spacing guest out.
