Couldn't decide so , I went with the jambalaya with shrimp sausage and tomato sauce . It was delicious with a hint of spicy flavor . The seafood stuffed mushrooms are always good as well as the crab dip, but were flavorful . The restaurant is definitely in better shape than the last time we came, many years ago. It's sad a lot of these have closed down which I can understand since there's a lot of seafood places but Red Lobster deserves some love too. The service was excellent! My husband, who claims he never gets to choose (he does), was craving Red Lobster. My grandson and I reluctantly agreed, since my last Red Lobster visit years ago left much to be desired. We GPSed the closest location from Hobby Airport and ended up at the Webster spot. And let me just say -- what a pleasant surprise! Our meal started with the famous complimentary cheddar biscuits. OMG. I've sworn off bread, but my grandson insisted I try just half. Melt-in-your-mouth, sinfully good. I ate the other half. No regrets. For entrees, my husband went with the grilled flounder, served with seasoned broccoli and coleslaw. He raved about how tender and flavorful it was -- clean, simple, and satisfying. My grandson and I both ordered the Salmon New Orleans -- and wow. Perfectly blackened Atlantic salmon, topped with juicy grilled shrimp, Cajun butter sauce, and a tomato-cilantro relish. Tender, flaky, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Our sides were just as impressive: seasoned broccoli and crispy Brussels sprouts drizzled with a soy-ginger glaze and topped with crispy onions. Flavorful, well-prepared, and the perfect complement to our entrees. We left full, happy, and completely satisfied. I never thought I'd say this, but this Red Lobster in Webster has changed my mind. We were a party of 8 having an early dinner for Father's Day. I had the Salmon New Orleans with seasoned broccoli and a baked potato. This featured a salmon steak, topped with a creamy sauce and grilled shrimp. It was quite delicious. The baked potato was adequate, but the broccoli was not seasoned very well. It was kind of bland. The others in my party enjoyed their dishes and Lobster Flatbread as an appetizer was a homerun. Service was excellent and the server was on point with refills and special requests. We had to wait quite some time to be seated (about 20 minutes) despite having a reservation and arriving on time. The classic lemonade was pretty good. We brought my Dad here for a fun treat on Easter. He is in assisted living and we live out of town. The food was so good! The crab was done perfectly. My father had 2 lobster tails which he inhaled! My husband had grilled shrimp and Walt's favorite which, while fried, were not overly oily and had a great breading! However the highlight of the visit was our waitress, Lynn. She was prompt, cheerful, and anticipated our needs (more water, napkins, to-go containers) without having to track her down. She was very pleasant! Very impressed! read more

Red Lobster has been getting a lot of attention on social media recently because of the franchise's new owners and updated menu items, so my sister and I decided to check it out for ourselves. This was both of our first times ever going to a Red Lobster, and honestly, we did not understand the sudden popularity spike it has been getting. While our waitress was super friendly and attentive, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was incredibly dull, and unfortunately that vibe carried over into the food. My sister and I shared the Mariner's Seafood Boil with Cajun Butter, and for forty-three dollars, it was extremely disappointing. The sauce tasted overwhelmingly of black pepper and salt, and it was obvious that everything, including the corn, had been frozen. Nothing was cooked properly except for the lobster tail. The two snow crab clusters, with one only coming with two legs which felt ridiculous, shrimp, and corn were all overcooked. On the other hand, the potatoes were so undercooked that I could not even bite through some of them. While I am glad I finally tried Red Lobster once, I can confidently say I will never step foot in one of their restaurants again. read more

This place isn't good for someone that values their time. If you're a bum,unemployed or a child that still lives at home, this might be your place. I wonder if they've thought about being dine-in only, because they don't have the expertise or ability to have a carry out order ready in under 20 minutes past the expected time. Today I literally travelled 9 hours for business and all i wanted was a hot meal to eat when I got home. I placed my order & it said it would be ready at 8:10. I got there at 8:09 and still had to wait until 8:30 for my order to be ready. That's completely unacceptable. I order in advance because I don't want to have to wait 20-30 minutes for my order to be ready. If you can't do to-go right, just don't do it at all. And it's not just that they don't make the order until you get there, they also forget items 99% of the time. Only twice out of the 14x I've ordered did they get my items right, both times it was a petite women, every time it's been wrong It's always been older guys. This restaurant was once a favorable outing for low- and middle-class families who happened to have a few extra bucks to spend after paying bills, however; the quality, quantity, and prices of the foods has become unbelievable. I was once a regular customer but stopped eating here for about a year. I decided to give it another chance earlier this month and I couldn't believe how much the food has declined and the prices has increased. (A two-star restaurant charging five-star prices). My wife and I were going out for late lunch at Red Lobster. The restaurant was empty and when I say empty I think other than the two guys at the bar we were it. There was plenty of staff they just were not acknowledging us. So we asked to see a manager as we were leaving which did not happen because they could not find a Manager. The tables were dirty. We sat at the booth and the bottom of table floor was dirty. There was dried shrimp tails all over the floor and the wood walls were all filthy dirty. The waiter didn't want to clean the table when we told him the table and seating had water on it. It took him awhile to locate a dry towel. My husband and I decided to dine in at this location the other night, as we have done plenty of times before with no issues, but this occasion was quite different. The service itself was as good as it could be considering our server was clearly busy with all the guests he was taking care of. However, there was a young lady that kept aggressively slamming the door open and closed to the kitchen area. It was very obnoxious, and it was clear it was obnoxious to the others sitting around us. We could hear her screaming from the kitchen, and considering that we were on the other side of the restaurant, it wasn't very appropriate for us to know what was being said in the kitchen. I rarely go to the Webster location. Fortunately, my experiences there have been super positive. Though technically the restaurant doesn't have fish & chips on the menu, I was able to order their golden-fried flounder with fries. I appreciate how the flounder was nicely cooked and the fries weren't in short supply. There was so much of the meal that I was a couple of filets short of joining the Clean Plate Club. Still, after a meatless Ash Wednesday in which I waited an eternity at the eye doctor's office, coming here was worth it. Sergio rocks as a waiter. Went on a Monday at 2pm. Was about average capacity of customers. Was seated and reviewed menu. I ordered the chicken fingers with fries and a Caesar salad and my mom ordered the fish and chips with side of Mac and cheese. i can see the future . unfortunately it's not good. someone doesn't understand business. we walked in on a Friday afternoon it was very stuffy, no air movement and too warm. i got the calamari and couldn't taste the calamari for the breading was so heavy. I asked for ranch dressing and it was a watered down version. my husband got the chowder and a cesar salad and the dressing was lacking flavor it tasted like a watered down version. on a Friday afternoon the place should've been busy, it wasn't. trying to save money will kill red lobster. people won't visit a place that the food quality is poor. fix your food and put the air on together customers cutting corners won't work. otherwise red lobster is doomed to fail. read more
