Came to Red Lobsters to celebrate my birthday. Left extremely disappointed. This was the worst experience I've had with a manager in my life!! We forgot the name, but she was an older woman with short blonde hair. Even treated the employees like trash who were just trying to help!! I get it can get busy people, but really? Under no circumstances should an employee treat a customer as she did!! Serious doubts about coming back. I always enjoy red lobster...I mean, who doesn't love the cheddar bay biscuits? It is always a relaxing meal too. The food was good but nothing special. I had the shrimp tacos and a salad. The salad was cold and crisp as always. As for the tacos, they added some type of corn avocado salsa. Normally I love anything avocado but it didn't work too well with the tacos for me. I think when I go again, I'll ask for that on the side. Also, if you don't like spicy foods, you should know the aioli is a little spicy. read more

My boyfriend and I went to Red Lobster for dinner last Thursday. It was literally the worst meal we have ever had. I could have had better food at Captain Ds. The shrimp were tiny. The grouper looked like it was soaked in oil. I called and complained, found out they had changed management. They are no longer affiliated with Darden. Trying to get in touch with managment was almost impossible. Run, do not walk. Run away from this subpar establishment. Your wallet and stomach will thank you. read more

We were excited with the idea of ordering lobster bisque for our dinner since we rarely leave our house. We are seniors but still want to support local business. I spent a long time with the young lady to be sure she understood our order: 1 family size and 1 additional bowl of bisque with 6 biscuits. My husband picked up the order. Very disappointed that the order was incorrect; we got 2 bowls and the biscuits. Unfortunately, it got worse as the bisque was way too salty. We had to throw it away. I have never had a good meal here. I only come here because my daughter likes it. I will not eat here again. The 1st thing upon walking in the restaurant is the smell of fish- tired worn-out fish. A mild smell so we sat down to eat. I ordered the fish and chips. Guess what I got? The old tired piece of fish with some old tired french fries. It looked like the cook decided to give me the last pieces of fish from the lunch rush which I am guessing ended around 1pm and I am here at nearly 4pm. I ordered a salad with my meal. What I got was a bowl of blue cheese dressing with slightly brown lettuce. I have eaten here several times over the past 15 years and each year the slide downhill has been accelerating. read more

Love it here. We've came in some busy nights and had no problem with service or food. My husband and I came here with our infant in a stroller for lunch. They have us a large round table that was relatively close to the wall so that the stroller wasn't in the way of other guests which I thought was really nice because we didn't have to think about moving the stroller every time someone passed by. read more

Red Lobster is normally an OK restaurant at best, but this specific location is an exception. This location is a HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING, VILE restaurant. The management is very RUDE and RACIST. The management made my party of 3, 2 of whom who happen to be non-white, waited for a very long time as the host had several parties of equal, lesser, and larger parties seated as soon as they entered. Those parties happened to be all white of course. I make a complaint to one manager and she did nothing about it, I had to get the other manager who finally seated us after over 40 minutes of waiting and even then she did so reluctantly. Once we're seated the server was nowhere to be seen for at least 10 minutes after the biscuits came. Didn't even get our drinks out for another 15 minutes and even those were wrong. We got our food about an hour and a half after being seated and it was obviously forgotten about then microwaved as it was piping hot in some areas and cold in others while remaining mushy throughout. Ever since Red Lobster did away with Oysters I've found them to be a faux seafood restaurant. A very overpriced seafood restaurant. This visit was no exception. The lobster baked potato and lobster mashed potato had to be the nastiest thing I've ever tasted with lobster in it. Very bland and lacked any taste. Couldn't get the waitress to get our drink orders right. Took forever to get the food, no re order of the cheddar baked biscuits we asked 4 times and kept saying she was bringing them, yet never did. I'm not impressed they just keep changing things around on the menu and masquerade as a seafood restaurant. If you want real seafood theres better selections and cheaper prices around. read more

UPDATED Had dinner with my husband and son a few weeks back for my sons birthday my server lindsey was terrible, had to constantly flag her down, extremely rude, and was socializing with the other server the entire time, as I flagged her down one last time she muttered "that fat black b****" I was absolutely horrified but did not say anything to a manager because my son was there and has been through things of this sort. This has been bothering me for weeks, I filed a complaint on the red lobster website, received a generic email (that you can't respond to) and I finally received a phone call from the manager yesenia, I told her I work almost long hours at the hospital and its difficult for me to find normal work hours to communicate on a phone call and to email me, never recieved an email! Called the restaurant and someone said they would get back to me. Never heard a peep! I'm disgusted by this servers actions and the carelessness of the people who run this place. I will never return! So after posting this review it must have gotten the attention of Yasenia, she reached out in a email and just wanted to apologize and give me a gift card to make things right. I asked what is going to be done about the server that said this disgusting things? She let me know how serious they are taking this matter and racism isn't tolerated there, she couldn't let me know what was going to be done as far as the server goes because of "employee privacy" so I said ok, I will return with the gift card and try again since me, my family and friends have been frequent guests of this location for many years and never had a problem. Went to Red Lobster on Mother's Day I had the create your own plate I had two orders of coconut shrimp & a baked potato w/garden salad. My salad was so small it was like eating 3 bits & it was gone. My husband had the Admirals feast w/shrimp, fish, scallops & clam strips, w/baked potato & broccoli. The potatoes are very, very small they also forgot to give the broccoli we had to ask for it. Ate dinner at Ocala Red lobster on Tuesday, October 17th. After arriving home I realized the waitress charged my card twice for $97.31. I called the restaurant and spoke to a manager, Vance that evening. He took my information and said he would return my call by the end of business day. I never heard from him. I called back again and spoke to him again. He had not even bothered to look into the problem. He put me on hold and had another manager speak to me. Although nice, she told me there was nothing she could do and "she didn't know what to tell me". She stated that she couldn't see where my card was double charged. So basically neither one of them wanted to be bothered. I have started a dispute with my bank. Thankfully Regions Bank customer service is much more diligent and concerned about this erroneous charge. Very poor customer service Red Lobster! read more

I have only been to Red Lobster twice since moving to the area. The first visit was a disaster so had not been back for over a year. My husband wanted Surf & Turf so we revisited. Big Mistake. How do 2 people order the exact same dinner and one plate comes out with Surf & Turf and the other with only Turf? Apologies of course. Had to start eating the other items on my plate or they would've gotten cold. Needless to say I had a few bites left of the Turf and broccoli, the potatoes were eaten by the time my lobster arrived. What is with service at this place Meranda? We ate at Red Lobster all the time when we lived in Atlanta. They always got it right. So what's up with the Florida service? Meranda, we even left you a $23 tip although we were very disappointed with your service. Its called check your order!!! We always tip simply because both our daughters were servers while in school. Went to red lobster a few hours ago. We asked for lemon from one of the hostess and it was served on a napkin. This is a violation of health code rules I know you can't serve lemon's on a napkin or anything else. Shame on you and I have pictures. read more

My girlfriend and I loved our time here! Everything was clean and nice. Our service was fast and really friendly.

After a bad experience at lunch (see other review), we decided to go to a trusted source of reliable food, if not the most exciting. Our waitress was great, very nice and very efficient. My husband wasn't all that hungry so he ordered the mussels appetizer as a main course and asked for a double helping (it's mostly shells anyway). I had a crab special, 1 lb of crap with grilled corn. My food was fine. Butter a bit cold but the corn was sweet and not soggy as I'd feared and the crab was good. Mussels were a disaster. Dry as dust. He sent them back. To Red Lobster's credit they handled the situation very well. Manager came to talk to us and offered to remake them. By then hubby was fed up and not that hungry anymore (he was helping me eat the crab and was nibbling the lovely biscuits). So he got a shrimp cocktail and it was fine. So a mixed bag but the bad parts were handled well. read more

What a disappointing experience we had at dinner last night. Our meals came out together but my husband ordered trout and not sure what was on his plate but it wasn't trout so it had to be sent back...the waitress explaining that someone in the kitchen made a mistake. Also I ordered Swordfish and it wasn't even close to being cooked so it also got sent back. They did offer my husband a scrimp cocktail to keep him occupied while he waited for his meal but after soup and bread he thought it better to just wait on his meal. A couple minutes after our meals were both sent back I was brought my plate with just my side dishes and went ahead and ate that. My husbands meal finally came out as well as my Swordfish. When we were nearly done eating the manager finally came over and asked if the fish was worth the wait. She also made sure to let us know it was the waitress who ordered the wrong fish. Now that's just terrible for her to sell her own employee out like that. Mistakes a made and we were not interested in who's fault it was. We just wanted out of there by then. Don't think we'll be going back there any time soon. read more

I couldn't wait to get to Red Lobsters to celebrate my sister's birthday. I had been thinking about the hot cheddar bay biscuits and crispy shrimp all week just to get here and swallow garbage. When we first got there, there wasn't even enough chairs to sit out party. Keep in mind that we already had told them how many people were being seated that night. Next, we practically had to beg for biscuits and didn't even get our seconf basket untill pur food came. What was even the point at that time. Next, the salad was terrible!! How do you serve iceberg lettice as a salad man. I mean I wouldn't even eat that if my life depended on it. The salad tasted like straight pesticide. And keep in minc i dont even know what pesticide taste like but this salad came hand in hand with it. Lastly, half our our table got their food almost 15 minutes before the other half out our table got theirs. I was practically done with my food before my sister got hers. And catch this. We ordered crab legs for my sister because that was what she wanted and the waiter told us that half a pound a crabs was $10. Then after my sister already smacked down the first set of crabs she got because they said they were going to bring out the other set in a few minutes, the waiter came to the table and told us that he mistakenly thought that a half pound of crabs was $10 when in reality only 1/4 pound of crab legs was $10. So basically ripped off. But hey at least the drinks were good. read more

We went around 3 in the afternoon. I am gluten and lactose free. They had tilapia with roasted veg in parchment paper on their special menu. The manager came to our table, discussed my dietary needs and adjusted the recipe to meet them. It was excellent. Our server was Attentive and eager to please. The only disappointment was the oysters on the half shell. They were large and mushy. Not a good mouth feel. I give them three stars for food and a bonus for working with me to meet my needs. read more
