4 sliders and fries
Rachel Macie H.

Small and interesting would be the best way to slide into this as that's exactly what our experience was. Coming here was a random stumbling across it by hey sometimes that makes for the best way and let's just say that it makes sense that way. So we ordered the 4 slider pack meal with bacon on the burgers and let's just say that adding this to it gave it the edge that it needed to be yummy as the burgers were cooked perfectly the bacon was yummy and the cheese and pickles added the zest to make it all that more yummy but when we dunked it into the queso and added some of their sauce to it it sent the burger goodness into a whole spin of flavor as each of us then just totally liked what we had gotten. The queso was standard as it comes with a bit of pepper flakes in it not hot but just perfect for the added zest to whatever we dipped in it. Their cris cut fries were the seasoned ones that were similar to the ones I've gotten elsewhere but still super yummy we asked for them tier special way but we were informed that they don't do it anymore and that's how the cheese and sauce on the side came about which in my opinion was better because then we just put it on everything! Overall it's a drive-thru you can't go wrong the staff was nice the food was yummy and it was burger goodness so if your in the area looking for something quick and small you found the right place by saying small I'm referring to the burgers which were a good size for being called a slider!

Based on the reviews, I was a bit a skeptical however I was so intrigued by this place knowing that it was one of Drew Brees' investments - and I had a pretty good experience at Walk On's, another one of his investments. So this place is a little tricky to get into depending the direction you are coming from, but anytime I'm in Ocala - there's always a line. Also you can't miss Smalls as the building is bright orange and as it's the Christmas season, it was decorated in Christmas decor and lights. I decided to go to the walk up window and browsed over the menu quickly. I ordered one slider, an order of waffle fries, and a side of their sauce for my fries. It took about 5 -7 minutes for my food and they call your name over an intercom and then come out to hand it to you. The one slider is actually larger than I expected. I was expecting it to be the size of White Castle. However, it was not dry at all. It was pretty flavorful and moist and thick patty. The slider had cheese, pickle, and some of the signature and everything paired very well and very fresh as it just came off the grill. I do wish I could've added some caramelized onions to balance the melty cheese and creamy sauce. The sauce kinda reminds me of a chipotle tartar sauce as it was that dill and herb consistency. I don't like that they charge you for it but a lot of burger places are doing that now. did enjoy it as my dipping sauce with the fries. My fries were fresh and pretty crispy, I couldn't eat all of them with the slider. I look forward to stopping by Smalls whenever I'm craving a burger or something that's an easy handheld meal.

First time trying these after stumbling upon them on Instagram and was not disappointed. The sliders are great. I am not the biggest burger fan but these were really good. It's simple, burger, cheese, pickle and their house sauce in a bun. I got the sauce on the side which was perfect for me to dip my burger in. The container is oval which makes for easy dipping. Subtle genius there. The waffle fries were delicious. Again, I don't seek out waffle fries but these I would! The queso is bomb. Dip that thing in the cheese and you are set. Highly Recommend.

Was driving by, on the way to the mall, and saw this place. Once finished in the mall we decided to come back by. I love a slider, so it seemed like a perfect place to stop. I got the three sliders, with fries, and my mom got the two sliders and fries. The menu is basically just burgers and fries, like back in the day. They don't have a kids menu and I couldn't upgrade one of my burgers, although the menu makes it seem as if you can. There's no inside, so you sit outside. The food didn't take long at all. The total was almost $30, but get this! They placed a coupon for a free car wash, at the car wash across the street, and that was worth $30! So, after we ate we got the car washed. I would definitely come back!

This was $18. Totally not worth it.

Very underwhelming. Dry burgers, tasteless. No menu variety (burger/fries/drink). Fries were the best part of the meal, and they were most certainly frozen. Expensive for what it was. Up charge for sauces.

Omg I found my burger place. Best tasting burger so far in Florida. Comparable to In and Out burgers and close to Whataburger. Service was above expectations and quick. Ambiance is kind of cool as it's a container look and feel for the entire place.

There are a lot of negative reviews on here already. These people need just smile once in a while. Also as I have said in the past, only strongly consider reviews from ELITE Yelpers. First time today!!! I'll definitely go back again. I am not a fast food guy much anymore but had to try the new place in town. I ate my burger so fast I forgot to take a picture. Menu is simple and to the point. This is a small burger, not a smash burger and not really a slider, in my opinion. Perfect size if you aren't trying to eat a million calories. Service was very friendly and efficient. Drive thru line moved fast and order was correct. Fries are awesome. They are a cross between old school Checkers and a Chickfila Waffle. I'd come here just for the fires. See you guys again soon. Good Luck and hope people out there just become nice again. See you all soon!!

Patio. Walk up window.

Another rarity from this reviewer. 5 stars. Returning from Ocala, we spotted this orange business with lots of cars in line. It turned out to be a slider place with a small covered place to chow down. Our lunches were fantastic. I loved my sliders and the fries were good too. My side salad was tasty. The only question to answer when you visit: how many sliders can you eat.

I had been dying to eat here, I just never had the time. Well I made time today and let me tell you it was great. Burgers were so perfectly crisp and juicy. Fries so tender. The eating area was so cute. I loved my whole experience. Will be back. Maybe on the way back will stop again.

Great location! Service was fast and employees were nice. Food was piping hot! I got the #2 with queso fries, and I enjoyed every bite.

What a great restaurant. Their Sliders were sensational. Their waffle fries were think and hearty. Their sauce to dip it in was great actually. It reminded me of Tarter with Ketchup. It was really good. We all enjoyed the dinner last night!

I was just there

Absolutely the best Sliders I have ever seen in about an hour and I was going back today for more, more, more

Classic slider place. Add bacon, dip it in queso, and grab a milkshake. Those waffle fries have a great texture

Here's how it went. I wanted to love my paleo burger .. but my burger was very dry. I had it lettuce wrapped which they were quite generous with- a ton of lettuce and two thin patties with blah blah blah , but it was dry and they put the mustard on the burger that I asked for on the side. Bacon was not flavorful.. Both types of French fries (sweet potato and regular) were good--just the right crisp on the outside and soft o the inside. (I always ask for extra crispy because I strongly abhor soggy fries. The other burger was a regular barbecue beef burger and the one patty was not a lot. It is hard to spend almost 40 bucks not including tip for two burgers and fries . When I do I want it to be delicious and not have to fill up on fries The place was clean... out of forks.. not very inviting or warm. So if you want to drop in an uninviting place to grab an expensive burger -dry and bland burger. This is your place. I'm a little grumpier than usual because raising the prices should not include lower standards . With top-- 15 percent because they hand you a cup and bring your burger out... and you bus your own table... it was over 40 with the tip. For two burgers and fries. Tired of overpaying for regular food.

There are a few tables outside, right by the door. There are signs that make it clear they are non smoking tables. We decided to eat inside, were seated right away and our server came quickly. She told us what some of the popular burgers were and we made our selections based on that. I had the Jamaican burger cooked medium. This burger was cooked perfectly, had good flavor, was topped with a sweet and spicy jerk sauce. It was everything that I expected. My friend had the Brie burger and his daughter had the smash burger and they both said those burgers were very good as well. Our server was attentive to our needs throughout our meal. I would definitely go back again.

Tonight was "trivia night", which, while we didn't play, we did enjoy trying to guess the answers. Our grand daughter's face was a big "O" of amazement when realizing the upper tables were enjoying roasting their marshmallows at their table...when she was told they were making s'mores...she went nuts! She's so excited to get tableside s'mores! My wings were even better than they were last time since there was an addition of seasonings sprinkled on them along with the dill pickles, but unfortunately, our cheeseburger pizza suffered from not having enough mustard and ketchup base to it, the tomatoes were enormous chunks and so were red onions. It made it very difficult to eat without things falling all over your clothing since they were such huge chunks on top of the tiny pieces of pizza. My husband got the steak bomb sub, son got a pepperoni Stromboli, daughter in law got the Sharon's Brie burger, grand daughter the child's cheeseburger and fries. Our apps were the garlic knots, mild wings (10) and fried cheese curds with sriracha ranch dipping sauce. Everything was okay, except that it took forever for everything to come out, compared to our first visit. Even our s'mores seemed to take forever. The quickest part of the whole visit was the bill . The fella that waited on us the first time was on point. Not saying that the young lady waiting on us was rude or anything, but I think she was trying to do too many things at once and some things just fell by the wayside. Last visit we came in on a Saturday as well, but perhaps some people are just better at multitasking? I don't know. This time, our bill was over $200 with tip, but we still brought home food again. Not a lot compared to the last time, only 2 little pickle wings (I still can't get enough of those darn things!) and maybe 4 slices of pizza. My husband's loaded tots weren't to his liking, so there's something even for the dog tomorrow We may stay away for awhile and see if they manage to work out some kinks. If anything, the best rule is consistency. If the food preparation is not consistent every time you go to eat there, there's a problem. There should be NO deviation just because someone else is cooking it. All recipes should be the same. Twice we've ordered the same items and they've been different. I still recommend this place for great vibes, cocktails, food and the tableside s'mores. There's just nowhere else like it!

In addition to the Home and Garden show, there were horse jumping competitions and apparently some tour groups with their yellow lanyards hanging on their necks. Needless to say, we waited in line a while and had to hunt for tables and chairs. Fortunately, my wife and I "divided and conquered" as she secured a table (which we happily shared with another couple after my wife wiped it off with a wet wipe) and I stood in line to place our orders. I ordered the Southwest Burger ($17) and my wife ordered the Patty Melt ($14.75). Both came with fries. We just had water. The wait was longer than we thought (the place was truly packed). My burger had good flavor but thought the burger patty was a bit overdone for my tastes. My wife liked her patty melt and thought it was full of flavor as well but would've preferred the marble rye to be grilled instead of toasted. All in all, despite the crowd which we thought may have affected their execution a bit, we thought of our experience a positive one. We might consider trying out their breakfast when we decide to head back out to WEC for a Sunday service in their quaint chapel. NOTE: I neglected to take pictures since the long wait left us famished.

The Southwest Burger looked promising with its chipotle aioli and candied bacon, it was a gastro-enthusiast's masterpiece, but the service? Yikes. Many other interesting burgers, sandwiches, shakes, and cake concoctions were on the menu, but my decision was set in stone. The anticipation of that first bite of the burger was going to cure my animalistic hunger as we headed to the counter and met with the cashier, Denise. She literally sounded like a robot requesting the choice of hamburgers and toppings. Then rudely explained the credit card payment options. I thought to myself, am I on a hidden camera television show? Absolutely zero personality, which sadly just severely diminished my highly anticipated Ralph's Burgers experience. Wait there's more...Emotionally defeated, I made payment for the food and still left a $12.00 TIP for Denise to merely enter my order into the computer. We all self-serve at the fountain drink station and find comfortable refuge at a quaint table. About ten minutes later, Denise yells my name alerting me that our food order was ready and I instantly acknowledged. Oddly, she yells to me, "I Need Hands!!!", as she just stood motionless behind the counter holding two of our food trays. It felt like a walk of shame to take possession of our food. Took a few minutes to shake off our initial contact with Denise and finally dug into that beautiful long awaited burger. Holy smokes, the chipotle and candied bacon were integrated perfectly with the juicy cooked beef along with big golden onion rings as a perfect sidekick. The World Equestrian Center provides unparalleled service at their luxurious estate, which I have witnessed during my stay, thus, if aware, this type of unprofessionalism toward customers and guests would never be tolerated. This experience definitely makes for an interesting holiday memory! It's just a shame that something as simple as friendly service couldn't make it even more memorable.
