Absolutely divine charming spot in Ocala. We are camping and staying at santos campground but the heat is unbearable. Looking for some life I searched dog friendly options and this place came up! We were greeted by the bright smiled Jesse who was warm and welcoming. My chocolate toasted hot chocolate decaf drink was beyond delicious. The dogs were thrilled and the adorable items for sale so charming. Lovely friendly folks came through and it was such an utterly sweet and enjoyable experience. There's a wide selection of cheeses and brews as well, for those wanting an accompanying bite. So glad we found this spot. Absolute gem. read more

Hubs planned for us to visit as a surprise. It was our dog's gotcha day and he picked this place because it was dog friendly for inside! Upon walking in, it was overwhelming since I was honestly unaware of this place! Lol and because I was unaware of our visit ahead of time, I did not get to look at Yelp beforehand. We decided to browse around the market area before sitting somewhere. There were so many items! You name it, it was sold in the market. There were items that were handmade by local residents and items from corporations as well. There were some snacks that piqued my interest, as well as some crafts. When we were about to sit at the bar, we were greeted by I believe one of the owners, who very enthusiastically welcomed us and paid a lot attention to our dog. I was craving iced tea so I ordered that, along with a bottle of wine- since it was cheaper. Hubs went the usual route and ordered an IPA on tap. We sat and enjoyed our drinks while we gazed around. Since it is so close to WEC, they had horse races showing on the television. The bartender was attentive and kept my bottle of wine in the fridge and topped me off as necessary. It was not super busy in the afternoon but as it became later, more people came in. I believe a lot of traffic from the restaurant next door stroll in after dinner. Speaking of, there is not a kitchen but they have baked goods, cheeses in the fridge, and food trucks on occasion. They also have pairing dinners and all their events are updated on their Instagram page. If this place was not so far from home, we would be here every week. read more

My husband tried their beers and really loved them. They were ones he had never tried before. I had a hot chocolate which was yummy. I could have one of their hot teas but the hot chocolate was a great choice. There was plenty of seating to relax with friends. The best part was that our dog was welcomed. This is a really cute wine and coffee bar with lots of quirky gift items to explore. Sit and enjoy one of their craft beers on tap, a unique zero proof seltzer, or some interesting wines while chatting with friends. I love coming to Juniper for happy hour and sharing cheese, crackers and other fun snacks. I'm not a coffee drinker but they can make virtually any espresso drink you may conjure up. My friends and I have dubbed Juniper as "the bougie Cracker Barrel" because of the large selection of cute, crafty, and kitschy gifts and artwork on the north side of the establishment. My favorite is their doggie section with all sorts of unique products for your pooch. Speaking of, Juniper is extremely pet friendly! Your leashed dogs, cats and lemurs are always welcomed here. In fact, there's a couple celebrity pups named Roger and Spud who you just may bump into. Juniper is a great space to bring all your fellow heathens as they boast a few large high-top tables in the center where you can congregate or even bring in your catered or delivered meals. They even have some corner couches for the ultimate cozy and communal vibe. I would be remiss not to mention the spectacular bathrooms. This is one quality place to poo. Don't be afraid to barge in and let it out. Just be sure to wipe and wash your hands. Additionally, the waitstaff here is a real A-team, and I would like to give QUAN a special shout out. I'm gate keeping my favorite cheese spread here because I know my influence will be enormous and I can't have the gen-pop buying out my choice products. As far as drinks go, I highly enjoy their alberiño wine; and there's a fantastic red blend if that's what tickles your fancy. My friends also enjoy the sour beers and fruity seltzers offered here. The selections are always rotating so there's really something for everyone. If I haven't sold you yet, the boozy mini brownies seal the deal. They're moist and flavorful, though I have yet to get properly smashed from their consumption. The only thing that would make this place better is a liquor license. Get after it, folks! Gorgeous coffee shop, beer and wine bar. Plus a ton of really nice , mostly locally made items. The coffee is really really good. They don't serve food but have meat, cheese and items to purchase and then you can have your own charcuterie board. Once a week they have a food truck outside as well. I had a perfect latte and shared a red velvet cheesecake slice with my family. So good. I'll be back to try the beer and wine on tap. It's definitely a place you want to hang out at. read more

We stumbled upon this place about two years ago and used to be frequent customers several times a month, this certainly would have been a five star review two years ago. Unfortunately, About a year ago it seems they changed owners and cleaned house of all the good staff. Drink and snack selection along with the atmosphere of the old staff used to be excellent, it's not horrible now but all have gone to just okay. We still stop by from time to time but certainly won't go out of our way to head there anymore. I hope the new owners (the one that uses the tables as her office with her paperwork spread out everywhere) sees this and makes some changes back to how it used to be as it seemed there's certainly a few less customers in there now compared to back then. read more

I love small shops like this typically, and seeing all of the support for small businesses and local artists. So I was excited to stumble upon Juniper after eating at the steakhouse next door. However after shopping around, I went to use the restroom and noticed a really cute cat mural on the wall. But the closer I looked, I realized it was covered with hidden satanic symbols. I have my beliefs, and I'm not one to think that everyone should believe what I do. I respect everyone's religious preferences respectfully for or against, but displaying or promoting satanic content is a line I absolutely cannot cross. I'm sure many people feel similarly and simply do not notice the hidden symbols in the restroom. Safe to say I did not purchase the items I wanted and unfortunately can not return or recommend. Dang Shame on the owners part. read more

Stopped at this place after searching for craft beer and reading positive reviews about their selection. Inside looks great with a large, attractive bar running along one side. Tap list was fairly small, but a some solid options. I was there to buy beer to-go and that's where things went downhill. First, they have a very, very small inventory. Second, they seem to only sell singles. That said, I was pleasantly surprised to see some great options from breweries out of state including Other Half and Equilibrium. But then I saw the prices. Wow! I'm used to paying a premium for better beer, but these single cans are priced between $7 - $10. Each! That's over a 50% markup. If that was the end of the story, I'd simply have overpaid for some good beer. However the cruelest blow came when I opened the first beer. One sip and immediately I realized I got got. A malty disaster, hops dead on arrival. This was an old can, the only question was how old. The answer, over 10 months old, canned May 13 2021. For shame, selling beer well past its prime at secondary prices. Hopefully the beers on tap are fresher, but be cautious if you're buying anything to go from the cooler. read more
