Enzian is a great location to eat, grab a drink, and catch a movie. I visited the Eden Bar outside when I arrived and enjoyed drink while conversing with the friendly bartender. I didn't particularly care for my drink and he offered to make another which was nice. I decided to have lunch with a movie during this visit and it was a good experience. I love the local art house feel of the venue and servers are attentive. There is only one theater available for movies so I don't get to visit often since showings are limited. The only downside is how tight and raised the tables are in the middle row which makes it hard to get in and out of the space. This isn't a deal breaker by any means. I look forward to my next visit to Enzian.

This theater is so beautiful and always fun to visit. I love seeing movies with my kids here. They love sitting at tables and eating while watching a movie.

My friends and I went to the free showing last night on the lawn for "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and we had a fabulous time! We showed up 45 minutes before the showtime and the lawn was packed. I recommend going at least an hour earlier to get a good spot. Maybe even an hour and a half earlier! We ended up having to park down the street, as the parking lot and overflow lots were full. Once we arrived to Enzian, we were lucky to snag a spot in the front right near the screen and speakers. The speakers were a little loud on our ears so hopefully next time we can get there earlier to get a spot farther back. My friend ordered a flatbread and the kitchen lost her ticket and she ended up waiting over 30 minutes for the flatbread, but luckily, they threw in a free batch of truffle fries to make up for the mistake. The only downside I'd say from this experience was that the group directly behind my friends and I were chain smoking cigarettes the entire time and it was blowing onto me and my friends. It was not enjoyable. The fries were delicious and the overall ambiance of the lawn was magical! The bathrooms were located inside of the theater and the patio restaurant was packed with people dining in. I'm excited to go back to the Enzian again for more movies!

The Enzian Theatre is truly an Orlando gem and a great spot for a date night or to spend a Saturday/Sunday afternoon with family or friends. Unlike Cinepolis, where you can also order food but sit in a regular movie theater chair with a small sliding desk (sort of like the ones in school), at Enzian, you sit on an upholstered chair with a proper table in front of you. You not only have plenty of space to eat comfortably, but also to place your bag, water bottle, or anything else you brought along. They have a surprisingly long menu for a movie theatre, with sizeable portions. I'd say around 90% of people there were ordering food and/or drinks, which was impressive. It really seems like the main reason most people go is to enjoy a full meal while watching a movie. And it works. Other reasons to visit Enzian: tickets are cheaper than in a regular movie theater, service is excellent, and you'd be supporting a local business.

One of my favorite places in the Orlando area. Great for a well priced date night. I love having a drink and appetizer (normally the spinach artichoke dip or shrimp) at the Eden bar before the movie. They are very quick to start taking orders when you sit down in the theater. We normally get the burger and grilled cheese (LOVE the grilled cheese).

This is my second time visiting since it's a bit far for me but i have such a great time! The cocktails at the bar are so delicious and decently priced. They also currently have a valentine cocktail menu. I tried the stupid Cupid and it was so refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. We ordered 4 piece tenders and it was filling for two people. The tenders were perfectly crispy and the staff were so quick with bringing our orders out. There's plenty of parking and the garden area is so cute and romantic for a cute date night!

I've been going to Enzian for decades, and it still feels like magic every time I walk through the doors. From taking my daughter to matinees for cookies and milk to our annual tradition of watching the Manhattan Short Film Festival, Enzian has been a place where memories are made. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and the Eden Bar is one of my favorite spots in Central Florida--whether I'm grabbing a drink under the beautiful oak trees or enjoying a late-night bite after a film. The vibe is always relaxed and friendly, making it the perfect spot to connect before or after a show. What makes Enzian so special is that it's more than just a movie theater. As a non-profit, it's dedicated to showcasing independent, foreign, and classic films that you won't see anywhere else, while creating a true sense of community around the love of cinema. Simply put, Enzian isn't just a theater--it's a tradition, an experience, and one of the gems of Central Florida.

What a gem. Cozy theater with great food, drinks, and comfortable seating that made movie night feel like an experience, not just a show. Loved every minute.

Not my first visit, but reminded me I need to visit more often. Comfortable seating, not obstructed by others, tables to eat with plenty of space. I saw menu online, but didn't know prices until we were sat. I liked options for appetizers, or Entrees depending on appetite. Server comes by if you raise table sign, in effort to not interrupt or disrupt during movie. Food was good, better than I expected. Looking forward to next visit.

I've been going to the NZN theater for decades and it has not disappointed yet I like that they upgraded the seating and they offer a great ally of movies at someplace that you should definitely look online ahead of time as they have great uncomfortable branches as well as pop-up midnight showings, bring a blanket as it tends to get cool or at least wear a jacket and some pants always clean, always good great drinks great food great appetizers never a disappointment and it's a unique experience to view a movie. Also check out the outdoor Eden bar or the outside picks in a park that they have on rotation.

Have been going here since I was a kid. My favorite movie theater ever! My fiancé and I are members here and both work in the film industry so it was only fitting to have our fav date night spot the place we got engaged. They made it an unforgettable day for us! The staff is so beyond kind and knowledgeable about film. We come here 3+ times a month and it never gets old. Make sure if you are coming for their popcorn flicks in the park (outside free screening) to get there about 45 min early at least so you get a good spot!

Came here on Wednesday 11/26 when they hosted a movie night on the lawn. It was my first time here, but won't be my last. It's perfect for a date night or night out with your friends. The patio area had a bar with a decent menu to order from. There are a lot of greenery to shade you from the sun if dining early. It's a cute, local theater with lots of charm

I definitely wasn't expecting to ever have movie theater food that tasted this good, but I was pleasantly surprised at the Enzian! The service was great with our server checking in on us every few minutes I never felt like I was tracking him down. I recommend ordering right when the movie starts so that your food comes out during the movie and you don't finish eating before it even begins. I love the vibe of the theater as well. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and I'll definitely be coming back.

When it was around 10:20 we still didn't get our food so we called the front desk. They weren't pleasant and claimed we weren't in our seats when they came to drop off our order to us so they took it back. Then they said that they will see what they can do and if not we will have to come to the front to get our order. I said we're in the middle of our movie and can't that's why we placed it ahead of time to be delivered to our seat. We were in our seats for the 9:45-10-05 delivery slot. We still hadn't received our order so when there was an intermission we went to the front desk that had the same guy that scanned our tickets in to see what's going on. They said that food department had another manager in charge and pointed us to some elderly lady. When we went to talk to her she right away assumed there was no order like that and said all the orders for that day was done. Then we showed our email with the receipt and she went from having an attitude to being apologetic so fast. Then she said there's nothing they can do about it since the kitchen was closed and that we should've checked on our order before they closed and offered us a refund. This is the worst service I've ever had there. I watch movies there almost every month and never had this kind of experience before. No one wants to take responsibility for the problem and try to help solve it. They just kept pushing it onto another worker. The only reason we placed deliver to our seat option was to skip the long lines they always have. If this is how "deliver to seat" is then I'm never placing an order like that again. Horrible customer service.

Over the course of the 10-day festival over 170 films were shown spanning the gamut from international, independent, to current movies. Among the many first-class events held was a special celebrity appearance by the multiple acting award nominee, Christina Ricci. Best known as Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family movie franchise, she's been in such noted films as "Buffalo 66", "The Opposite of Sex", "Black Snake Moan" and "Monster". She's currently starring in the "Yellowjackets" television series which can be seen on multiple streaming platforms. The evening started with the 30th anniversary showing of Ricci's 1995 film "Now and Then". If you haven't had the opportunity to watch this movie, please do. It's similar to "Stand by Me" but instead of a quartet of young boys "Now and Then" showcases the tumultuous summer of a group of young teen girls. Afterwards, Ms. Ricci herself engaged in an approximately one hour Q and A with both moderator and audience participation. The insight she provided her life and film career was certainly informative. And the definite icing on the cake was the opportunity to MEET and GREET Ms. Ricci personally. That being said, I greeted her with a hug and thanked her for the entirety of her film work. Having heard and met her in person just solidifies my opinion she takes the craft of acting quite seriously with a humanity that comes out vividly in the characters she plays. FILM IS ART!

It's tucked away behind a beautiful and gigantic tree with beautiful shrubs. I almost felt like the girl from The Secret Garden walking into beauty for the 1st time. Attached to Enzian is an outdoor absolutely lovely restaurant called Eden Bar. The front of Enzian is a little blast from the past; it looks like an old original Box office with a riveting old style theater marquis. The lobby has all kinds of old movie posters. To your left, they have a Florida film festival selfie stand. Once checked in, you take a seat anywhere inside the movie theater. The seating is not traditional seating. There's a high top seating, 2-person table seating, and 4-person table seating. There are also 3 levels: lower middle and top. I sat in the middle. Each table had a popcorn and a list of complimentary drinks. The drinks are Ivanhoe joyland IPA, merlo, Pinot, daquiri, water, and soda. Once you figure out what you want to drink, a server will come over and take your order. I ordered a merlo. The merlo was a dry medium to full body wine with moderate acidity with a soft but present tannins. As the previews were showing, the wait staff came around with appetizer plates. The 1st was a fresh mixed greens, small portion salad top with grape size tomatoes and vinegerette salad dressing. The salad was delicious, and the salad dressing was delicious as well but a little punchy to my taste buds. Then then we was served a miniature egg roll, which was flavourful and crunchy also a shrimp tempora, which is my favorite and some mix between a spinach and egg quiche tart. They were also very delicious. So, the previews began. I was giving a sheet with every name of every preview I would be watching. I have to say all the previews were absolutely amazing, and the work by the people who put this Together is riveting. The preview that stuck out the most was Jack has a plan; it's a documentary. It's about a man who has terminal brain cancer for 25 years and then decides to end his own life on his own terms, and his family and friends struggle with his decision. Another one was sirens this one I particularly liked because it talks about females and female rock bands and Lebanon. I'm Lebanese, so I can fully understand some of their pain struggles. There are over 200 previews to list those are just 2 that come run off my head. All in all this rocks! I will come April 8th through the 13th to watch some of the previews I liked. And I 100% will make sure I come to next year's preview. So many talented humans In this! It's absolutely amazing and riveting!!!!

The Fashion Square mall is, unfortunately, permanently closed now as well. Given how everything is trending, I'm surprised this place isn't more popular. Plus, prices here are very reasonable compared to other movie theater spots around town. The popcorn and soda here can sometimes cost more than the actual movie tickets (crazy enough). The chairs here don't lean back or recline, but they're really plushy and feel comfortable. And the whole place is remarkably well maintained and pretty clean. In a world where people complain that more places are losing their character, this Premiere theater literally has all the character. Every detail, from the decor to the lighting, creates an immersive atmosphere that leave you in awe. As someone who actively seeks out tiki bars wherever I travel just so I can experience and review them, i can say they nailed the ambiance. The cocktails were well crafted but leaned much heavier on warm baking spices than my personal preference and I tried quite a few. I tend to prefer creamier, fruit forward tiki drinks with just ahint of spice, so while they werent my favorite style, thats a matter of taste rather than quality. The person i visited with loved their drink, which reinforces my previous comments. The real surprise of the evening was the food. it was outstanding, far better than i expected from a tiki lounge. The dish was flavorful, well prepared and easily worth the visit on its own. Overall, the experience delivered exactly what a great tiki bar should, an incredible atmosphere, quality drinks, and good food. Even though the cocktails werent perfectly suited to my palate, Id recommend stopping in if youre a fan of tiki culture.
