I was very disappointed at the Cheyenne Rib and chophouse. I have been to several other locations…read moreand the service was better at the other locations.. Let's start with the food: House salad consisted of lettuce, two tomatoes, two pieces of cucumber and some nasty ranch dressing. I couldn't eat the salad because the dressing was nasty. Filet mignon was cooked to the right temperature, but it was gristly on the inside You would think being in Wyoming, you would get a good piece of piece of meat. Especially for the prices you pay. So it was like 8 o'clock at night and I sat at the bar. There was only three other patrons at the bar service was extremely slow. Half the time I had no idea where the server went. So I had to wait to get another drink. When I ordered another beer, they brought me the wrong type of beer than what I was drinking I ordered food to go to take back to my kid in the hotel room. And when I was done, eating my meal. They asked me if I wanted anything else so I asked how's that takeout order coming and the waitress commented. Oh, I totally forgot. So they did comp the takeout but had to sit there for another 20 to 30 minutes waiting for it The place was not busy, very disappointed in this particular chophouse. Not sure if I would take a chance returning

Little Bear Inn has been operating on the outskirts of Cheyenne since 1958. Despite coping with…read moreownership changes, fires, Covid shutdowns and bad economies, this restaurant is a survivor. The decor is part rustic, part casual, part strange, but very comfortable in a cozy way. It's probably as close to "fine dining" as you'll find in the Cheyenne area, with a high-end "country club" menu that doesn't look like it has changed much in 65 years. I mean, where else would you find Frog Legs in a Rocky Mountain restaurant with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and Perry Como on the background music? Steaks, chops, chicken, fish & shrimp will give any diner an array of choices. Everything we ordered was really very good (see pictures), not spectacular, but taste and quality was well worth the price. And, the bar knows how to mix great cocktails! Plus, service was OUTSTANDING, with our waitress, Cheyenne (seriously), who could not have been more helpful & pleasant all evening. Bottom line: I'm giving Little Bear Inn 4 solid stars, with one caveat if you'd like to get to 5 stars: I'm asking management to do a little more on plate presentation. The food is great, but it's served as if we are in a cafeteria, with no thought in the kitchen to making it "look pretty" before it gets to the table. I'm sure the kitchen can do better with some effort. A little more attention to making your dishes look as good as they taste would go a long way to keeping customers happy. I'll definitely be back, but I'm hoping for just a little more effort in dish presentation.

The bread was just okay, but the lemon chicken, sautéed vegetables, and French onion soup were phenomenal. Unfortunately, the experience really fell apart when it came time to pay. It took around 30-45 minutes just to get the bill and complete the payment. At that point, I was honestly considering not leaving a tip or just walking out. It's a shame because the food was genuinely excellent, but the extremely slow service at the end left a bad enough impression that I probably won't be back.

They have a happy hour 3-5 where some appetizers are half off. So I tried the deviled eggs. The Ambiance gives off this sexy and upscale vibe. Great place to take someone on a date if you are trying to impress them. Not sure what it feels like with people in it but the decor and furnishings were nicer than some of the other local restaurants. I ordered the seared salmon and deviled eggs. Seared salmon - 4/10 The salmon was pretty good and not fatty, but it was covered in the burre blanc sauce that totally over powered it. It made it flavorful but salty. The quinoa on the side was a large serving and it was probably good that it was a little bland so it balanced out the salmon. Now... I love Brussels sprouts but these were not it. The seasoning and the texture was all off. Not good. I did end up eating all of the salmon and quinoa. Deviled eggs - 2/10 Not seasoned well. They simply tasted like hard boiled eggs with paprika. I am not sure if I just ordered things that were not great or if I came in on an off day but I wouldn't suggest coming here to eat. But I would come and sit at the bar on a date. The server said that their pastas were great and their burgers. She also said their seafood was good. So if there is a next time I would try their burger but definitely not these 2 dishes.

He put me on hold and then came back and repeated gnocchi but still didn't act like he really knew what it was. I've eaten it there before so I guess they still sell it. He didn't ask for my name or number. When I arrived, I told a female employee I had a call in order for gnocchi. She said okay and went to the back. When she came back toward the front, I saw her hold the ticket up and say the word gnocchi to the boss. I didn't hear the rest of the conversation. She came out farther to the counter with the to go container and she asked me if it was enough. I thought this was an odd question. It had a lid on it so I couldn't see what was inside. I just answered yes. She gives me the order after I pay and I left. Got home 30 min later, opened the container to reveal they only gave me Alfredo sauce. No gnocchi! Too far to drive back. Very disappointed.

There were many paintings, photos, sconces, and other decor to look at through out the restaurant and the table itself was visually appealing. The staff was very kind and worked well together with multiple people doing tasks together which made the service even better. Our serve was Sydney and she was so wonderful she was kind, funny, helpful, and a very sociable server. We got the Calamari as an appetizer and it was in a stick form as opposed to the typical round shape. The calamari was thick which threw off the ratio they almost needed a bit more breading but the flavor was amazing and the sauce that came with them was impeccable. We were under the pressure the manager/owner was there because there was someone who had mentioned something along the lines of it being her restaurant and we got to interact with a variety of different employees who were working together. I got the tour of Italy although I did sub the chicken parmesan for spaghetti with a meatball on the side which was incredible and it was amazing that they were able to do a substitution like that. The fettuccine Alfredo was the best I've ever had, the noodles were well cooked, the sauce was amazing the texture of the sauce was rich and smooth. Their garlic rolls were amazing both texture and flavor wise. We took home dessert the Limoncello cake as well as the Tiramisu and while I can't speak for the cake since I didn't have any the tiramisu was wonderful, the filling was light and rich and the lady fingers weren't soggy but held a lot of liquid. I would recommend Napolis to anyone in Cheyenne looking for good Italian food and good service.
