I went to Texas roadhouse for the first time ever. I was pretty impressed. In my opinion, Texas roadhouse was just a steakhouse and their steaks were not anything to write home about, but I thought overall was pretty good and affordable. The loaded fries were really good. To me the rules were just rolls with butter, but they were pretty good. My waitress was friendly and informative about the menu offerings and size of dishes. The restaurant was busy, but that did not limit the level of service I received.

Man o man! Love me a great steak!! Arriving here from the PNW to see my niece walk at her graduation today! So proud of her!! And at her request was to celebrate with Familia & Friends at the Texas Roadhouse! This place was hippity hopping and crazy packed- which already is a great sign. We were greeted by several of the staff and super friendly, as I'm sure they understood the wait times be seated may have been frustrating for some, but not us. Go with the flow and you'll be just fine. Once seated, I ordered the NY Steak Strip, and asked for it be smothered in mushrooms- so yum! My sides were the loaded mashed potatoes and Mac n Cheese. What a great trio combination. And of course, ya can't go wrong with them honey buttered rolls!! Been ages since I've had those, and delighted that it did not disappoint. All in all, the service was great, the food was superb, price was reasonable, and the wait was long where they had to coral us from one location to the next to where we were constantly in the way, but like I said, a special occasion requires a little patience. As always, enjoy & Happy Eating!!

Always one of our favorite as we travel the Countryside !! Getting some things fixed on the Coach, so dinner tonight was Texas Roadhouse !! Easy enough and we find the food consistently good. Walking inside... you instantly smell the smokey BBQ & the hot rolls ! It's 4:00, the line for seating is out the door & around the parking lot ! A very good sign !! . We walked past everyone to go sit at the bar.... not crowded and they have sports on most of the TV's. Country music videos on the center large one. It sets a very nice ambiance for eating a meal. We ordered beers and told our Bartender, Tance, we are not in any hurry. He was attentive, checking on us every now and then but not over bearing. He got us a basket of hot rolls as we looked over the menu. Ohhhh, they are really good. . My husband ordered the rib eye combo with ribs, sweet potato side & salad. I ordered the NY Steak with regular potato & veggie (broccoli & carrots). Both steaks were cooked to perfect temp, but we did find the BBQ ribs dry..... they were over cooked. They don't look it by the picture... but they were. My veggies were also perfectly cooked.... firm, how I like them. Overall.... We think it's always a sure bet with consistency & flavor. We will be in another location before we get back home to Florida !!! ENJOY !!!

We're from TX so of course we always look for a TX Roadhouse when we travel but this was by far the best experience ever! They asked where we were from & when they found out my husband was here for work for the next few years the manager brought over free steak seasoning & free app coupons! We've never felt so welcomed! Food was great & our waiter was fantastic!! 10/10!!

Delicious juicy steaks done exactly as ordered! Our family of 4 stopped at Texas Roadhouse in Cheyenne for dinner in Aug 2024 after a very long drive. We were very hungry and felt lucky to be seated though the parking lot and the restaurant were packed. This was just the beginning of our luck though :) We got an absolutely delicious food and received an exceptional service by our waitress Taylor. Even writing this review makes me nostalgic and wishing to go back :) We ordered Rattlesnake Bites for appetizer to share and we also got generous portions of house salad and delicious chili that came as a choice with entrees. I asked for blue cheese dressing for my salad and was surprised when Taylor offered to add crumbles as well! This is that "going extra mile" that makes the place to stand out! Thank you! For entrees we all got steaks (see below) and each was very flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked to the heat level ordered! They were just perfect and outstanding! We highly recommend Texas Roadhouse in Cheyenne if you are up for perfect steaks, exceptional service, and all that at a very reasonable price! Appetizers Rattlesnake Bites - fresh, flavorful, and delicious! House Salad - generous portion and good combo of greens, etc. Chili - excellent. Entrees 14oz Fort Worth Ribeye, smothered 16oz Fort Worth Ribeye, smothered Fillet Medallions, smothered Andy's Sirloin Steak

Ask the Community - Texas Roadhouse

What makes Texas better than a local steak house?

Great question Sam! We like to think the fact that we hand cut our steaks in house each day fresh. We also make a majority of our sides and salad dressings from scratch fresh each day. And you can’t forget the fresh baked bread with honey cinnamon… Read more

I started with a delightful mocktail, moved on to perfect boneless buffalo wings, & ended with the 7 ounce filet mignon & giant baked potato for lunch. The filet was cooked to absolute perfection - exactly how I like it. The potato was delightful - it was probably 12 ounces with real butter (they have fresh sea salt grinders on the table, and that was also wonderful, as I'm a salt girl). The ambience is 100% Wyoming steakhouse which I love and honestly everything was five stars. They have a great bar and tons of parking in the lot or on the street. Go!!

Came out on a hot hot plate, which, I believe, is critical, since the prolonged higher temp keeps the fat rendering until you cut the meat. And a good ribeye has tasty fat which runs clear and full of flavor when it's served correctly. Garlic mushrooms were fantastic. Cream spinach excellent. Seth was my server. Good guy. Was covering another section and saw me sitting and waiting for an extended time so he came over to get me started. Incidentally, I ordered a Coke and water with a bunch of lemon wedges. He legit brought a bunch of lemon wedges with my two drinks. No one ever gets what a bunch of lemons is. He nailed it. Basically, if I ask for a bunch of lemons, when I'm done eating, there should be a few wedges left. Happy I stopped here.

The meal was delicious, only problem was it wasn't served hot enough. Needless to say, when we mentioned it to Sherrie, who runs T-Joes & makes sure everything is served to perfection, she brought us steaming hot servings, including plenty for a meal to take home. I would have been happy if she'd just put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Needless to say, the meal was delicious, and the take-home plate was an added bonus heated-up at home the next day... T-Joes is our "to go place" for a good prime rib, steak, shrimp & hamburgers. They also have a nice full bar that serves great drinks. Sherrie & her crew make sure their patrons are happy with their food & service. Great place to gather for special occasions like birthdays, graduation, or any other excuse to celebrate. They also fix "to go" boxes which I get to take to the ranch for a nice evening meal. The decor is part rustic, part casual, part strange, but very comfortable in a cozy way. It's probably as close to "fine dining" as you'll find in the Cheyenne area, with a high-end "country club" menu that doesn't look like it has changed much in 65 years. I mean, where else would you find Frog Legs in a Rocky Mountain restaurant with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and Perry Como on the background music? Steaks, chops, chicken, fish & shrimp will give any diner an array of choices. Everything we ordered was really very good (see pictures), not spectacular, but taste and quality was well worth the price. And, the bar knows how to mix great cocktails! Plus, service was OUTSTANDING, with our waitress, Cheyenne (seriously), who could not have been more helpful & pleasant all evening. Bottom line: I'm giving Little Bear Inn 4 solid stars, with one caveat if you'd like to get to 5 stars: I'm asking management to do a little more on plate presentation. The food is great, but it's served as if we are in a cafeteria, with no thought in the kitchen to making it "look pretty" before it gets to the table. I'm sure the kitchen can do better with some effort. A little more attention to making your dishes look as good as they taste would go a long way to keeping customers happy. I'll definitely be back, but I'm hoping for just a little more effort in dish presentation.

We got the traditional Beijing Zha Jiang Mian and the presentation was gorgeous. So many colors and fresh veggies.. We also got the braised pork rice and green onion pancake. The scallion pancake was flaky and savory. I ordered five buns: pork and leek, Chinese spinach, bamboo shoots, sweet red bean, black sesame. The red bean was my favorite , but to be fair it always is. They threw in a custard bun and a tea egg for free! I had to try their milk tea as well and I really enjoyed it. It had a nice creamy earthy flavor without being too sweet. I also wanted to try one of the flats and I asked the woman working what she suggested. She said the cinnamon is their best seller and that's not something I would have chosen on my own. But I am so glad I asked her because it was absolutely delicious. It was like a dessert.
