I mean who doesnt love red lobster despite it being a chain resturaunt?! Came here with the beau last night since we were both bored and didnt feel like traveling to manhattan. Came here at 10 abd only a 5 min wait period. We were seated promptly abd ordered our drinks which also came put quickly. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms abd crab cake for appetizer which was ok. I can skip it next time. Crab cake with the sauce was amazing but he didnt like the sauce cus hes lame. We then ordered off the crab fest nenu and got a HUGE order of alaskan crab legs, king crab legs and crab alfredo linguini with a side of mashed potatoes. I am.currently on line waiting for my order. I've been online since 4:15 waiting for my 4:30 order. They are only allowing 4 people inside at a time. I understand that has to be done for social distancing reasons,, but this is a bit much. It is currently 4:45 with about 4 people in front of me. It is 50 degrees and chilly. They have everyone waiting on the same line whether or not you're ordering at the counter or if you ordered online. This is ridiculous and I am very upset at this system. My visit on 06/06/2021 was horrible, the service was unprofessional. My waitress brought my appetizer after my main course, 'crab cake' didn't taste or look like crab cake , I sent it back and the waitress didn't take the charge off my bill. Leave it to my brother to choose a chain restaurant for his birthday dinner. At least this year, it was a change from Outback which was his first choice for the past 5 years. When the host first handed us the pager, he told us the wait time was 30 minutes. We were not seated until 50 minutes later. However, that's the only complaint I have about this place. The food was not spectacular but not bad; there's only so much one can say about broiled/boiled/fried seafood drenched in salt and butter. The food was delicious as Red Lobster always is. The atmosphere was nice but honestly it was a little noisy but it was also crowded. We waited about twenty minutes for a table which I guess isn't bad for Sunday on Labor Day Weekend. I think Red Lobster is a little pricey personally.. But I guess that's what you pay for that quality seafood. But if I was paying I would have gone some place else and probably just not have chosen to have seafood. Though the lunch menu is always a cheaper alternative for basically the same thing except with smaller portions. (On most dishes) BTW on portion size it was too much for me to eat. I couldn't finish it all so the portions are generous. Guess it's a good place to go if your Muslim and you are looking for Halal food at a secular restaurant. Negative stars! I honestly hate having to write a negative review but this one needed to be said. I have just wasted 45 minutes of my night waiting to just place my order. Went on a Wednesday for sirloin & filet medium rare. It took them an hour to serve food. Waiter served us two sirloin (one of them was well done but we asked for medium rare) where we ordered sirloin and filet. It's alright we told our waiter Deshawn and he was arguing about why that sirloin is a Filet lol. We went there for my birthday in March of 2012. I had been craving seafood and Red Lobster and rather than go to the location in Green Acres Mall, we came to this one. Wait Time: About 90 minutes. It would've been okay had there been ample inside seating but this is more just a design suck. They had ample seating outside that went along the perimeter of the restaurant, however, it was windy out (still not their fault). Decor: I'd say it was fine. What you'd expect to see in a chain restaurant; nothing to write home about. Food: It may just be my imagination, but it seems like they give you less food. I always order the Ultimate Feast because I love Lobster, Shrimp and Crab Legs and in the past, I've always been able to leave with a doggie bag of food. Not on this particular occasion. Also we ordered crab-cake appetizers which we ended up not getting it until our dinners came out. (The chef charred it to smithereens.) The good part, our waitress let us know and we weren't charged for that part. Waitress and Host: Both two ladies were helpful and just the right amount of friendly. My only regret is I don't remember their names but I have no complaints about either one of them. Restrooms: Never got to see the ladies rest room but I'm sure it was gross based on most all public ladies room are a horror to step into. Uh why do I keep coming back here. It feels like every time I forget how bad this place is I come back and learn my lesson all over again. The wait is always ridiculous, I think we waited 50 minutes this time. Honestly the only reason I gave this place 3 stars and not 1 is because of their biscuits and the lobster bisque. The biscuits are always hot and fresh and the soup is very hearty and filling. We came here during the endless shrimp promo and it's never a good time. It's Red Lobster so there isn't really much to write about other than the service at this particular location. I came here on an early Saturday afternoon when there weren't too many people around. We had to wait a bit to be seated even though it wasn't crowded, which made no sense. We had a very nice waitress once we did sit down but after she took out order, she went ghost. It took about 30 minutes for tacos and a salad/soup combo and the food was lukewarm when it was finally presented. This is one of the reasons why I don't do franchise restaurants anymore because the food is subpar and the service leaves much to be desired. We assumed they would reimburse us the first bill we paid before having us pay the correct bill. Nope. Been almost a week and still not paid back, even though we paid that second bill. While waiting outside for my husband to settle the mixup, I started feeling ill. Legs wobbled and weak. When we reached home, I asked my husband to get the kids into the house first, so I could projectile vomit into a bag. I don't have a weak stomach. I can handle a wide range of cuisine and different types of food. And alcohol is not an issue either. I don't know who to blame.
