I try to place the order online and the webpage sucks.. I try open it in different browser and once I was ready to checkout it didn't allowed me to do it, so I call in and they were friendly and help me place the order. I place the order to be picked up at 6:15pm at the brea Mall location, however I came 30 minutes earlier. So I asked the person in the cashier which I thought it was the manager if they could get it ready earlier and she say yes no problem, wait out side 15 to 20 minutes and come in and we will have it ready. Well wrong information because 20 minutes later I came in and now it was a different person at the cashier. This was the manager and she just started to give me a lesson about me asking for the order at a specific time to be picked up. I told her that I came earlier and that I spoke to the other lady and pointed her and the answer was, I'm the manager and the only one that can make changes instead of moving forward with the order... a big deal instead of working on the order and satisfy the customer... read more

Had never been to a Red Lobster before or, for that matter, any color lobster. It was just fine - good service, good food, but nothing really standing out or moving this into great territory. I had the fried seafood combo platter, which had a LOT of food on it. I really liked the sole, but didn't care for the crab cakes. The clam strips were very good, too, and I wish they had just that for dinner. The baked potato was okay, and the little shrimps were okay, too. We started with the stuffed mushrooms - not great, but okay. The biscuits were quite tasty. We also had the cookie thing for dessert and that was tasty. read more

Dinner with my parents is always interesting. Either my parents call me alcoholics because because I'm drinking, or they say that I'm too skinny which I'm not. The cheddar biscuits are really good. I like the slight cheddar taste and the warm cheddar biscuits. Oh, I loved it. I had the smaller portion of the lobster pasta and it was the right size. It might be price worthy, but definitely didn't have leftovers. It was pretty decent. The sauce was good and lobster was nice. There wasn't that much lobster, but really, did I expect that much? Not really. Sangria = good, but I wished there were more...fruits. I like having apples in there because by the end - delicious alcoholic fruits, the best kind. read more

Let me start off letting you know, I'm Asian, therefore I have a very picky palette. I visited a Red Lobster ages ago once, and never returned until a few months ago to give it another try. This visit to Red Lobster confirmed my hesitations why I am always on the fence about this particular chain. From what I can tell, this is a great place to host a family gathering because it has ample space to serve your party size, very nice decor, clean bathrooms, friendly and attentive service. But for us, I personally did not find the food as appetizing as the pictures/commercials, and very slow service due to overloading customers demands. Bottom Line: Will not ever, ever, return to a Red Lobster. It's just not for my taste buds (too salty and too heavy for me). If you love really buttery and creamy textures, this is the place to be. But if you want to taste the lobster/shrimp, look elsewhere. read more

I am here right now...We called 1 hour ago to get listed...the lady said she'll list us and the wait is only 30 minutes...now after an hour they ask if i can seat my twin toddlers on a booster because a high chair does not fit where ever they were trying to sit us and now we have to wait another 30 minutes...Please be sensible and look at your guests and see what they need read more

Pros: Cheddar Bay Biscuits Cons: Food is just ok As a kid, Red Lobster was my family's special occasion restaurant and I loved going here. I recently went back to give it a try to see if it was as good as I remembered and sadly it was not haha. Deciding to splurge and order the best thing on the menu, I got a lobster tail, crab leg, and shrimp combination for about $35 I think. Before the entree though, I was excited to get their Cheddar Bay Biscuits, but even the biscuits were a disappointment to me. I remembered them being way cheesier but they were ok and I still ate 2 of them haha. My main dish was just ok too. Having eaten at some nice restaurants in my lifetime and eating super fresh seafood, Red Lobster just doesn't cut it for me anymore. It was fun going back for a novelty factor but I don't expect to be back. read more

OK, now granted it's been months since I was here last, I have to say that this is the place where I can gorge myself and not feel like I wasted money, LOL! It's all so good it even starts with the appetizer! I usually get the Lobster Pizza, and now that they have a create your own lunch/dinner thing, I usually (and by usually, I mean always) get the Crab Alfredo and King Crab Legs (half orders of both, basically) for the main course. Then, of course, is dessert! It's hard to decide which part of the meal is my favorite but I'm gonna have to say that the dessert takes the cheesecake! Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, that is! Starting with the appetizer, the Lobster Pizza is a delicious pizza on thin crust topped with cheese, chunks of fresh tomatoes, and lobster! Small, the 6" pizza is the perfect size for 3 people to share. Crab Alfredo and King Crab Legs time!! Woohooo! If you've ever had linguini alfredo, just think of the best one you've ever had and then add crab meat to it! It adds just the right amount of saltiness to the meal giving it lots of flavor. I'm not a big fan of the lemon butter they give you for the crab legs so I just crack 'em open and eat them as they are. It's best if you get to the shells while they're still hot as they crack much easier. Full yet? Well, too bad, cuz it's time for dessert! The vanilla bean cheesecake is by far my most favorite type of cheesecake. They've constructed the perfect cheesecake! Light fluffy vanilla bean whip on top of the cheesecake-y bottom with oreo crust! I almost wanna go thank the chef personally! Oh, I almost forgot the post-appetizer, pre-meal....meal, lol. After the pizza I always get the clam chowder. It's kind-of their specialty cuz they serve it everyday and is by far the best New England style clam chowder I've ever had! I always order a bowl cuz a cup just isn't enough. As you can imagine, I'm usually full off of just the appetizer and pre-meal meal, while I also pick on the cheese breads! If you're looking for good food, and I mean GOOD food, come to Red Lobster! read more

My family and I went there for my 21st Birthday (Hooray) and that was our first time eating there in our history. Ambiance: Everywhere shows promise and commitment to seafood restaurant. My dad love it!! I'm excited when I came in, there's a tank of lobster. That makes me want to eat that! Food: First course: We had a soup except one; I ordered lobster bisque and it's delicious and creamy! Others ordered clam chowder and they like it as well. Good sign, huh? Second course (for me, my brother and dad): 1/2 dozen of oysters: (B.U.D) Briny, unctuous, and delicious! My brother Jacob comment that it taste like it's coming from the ocean and that's the first oyster he tried. Third course: Caesar salad and biscuit: Very original, but my highlight of all was the biscuit. It's flaky, crusty, garlicy, and mouth-watering. I would eat dozen of biscuit! =D Fourth and final course: I had a Wood-grilled lobster tail and peppercorn steak: I have to give a A- and here's the reason: The lobster and the sides were my highlights of all the component dish, but I had a steak with perfect temperature (I ordered med-well), but the thin, tip part of the steak was overdone. But overall I had a great meal. My dad likes it, but his Crab-topped sirloin was overdone a little. My brothers, Jacob and Michael, had a mediocre meal (Popcorn shrimp and shrimp linguini alfredo): little too salty, pasta's too heavy, couldn't finish it. And my mom couldn't finished her meal as well (Admiral's Feast.....more like Funeral's Feast): inedibly too salty in breading. But called for free of charge by the manager. (I'm sorry mom that I brought you there) =( Bonus course: MY BIRTHDAY SUNDAE!! Service: Very friendly waiter and it's a good thing they surprised me for birthday and I'm pleased. But in terms of quality in cooking, there some improvement that needed to push to the limit. The palates in our dish was disappointing. And the manager understood our feedback..... that's a true manager what I know about. So I have to be fair that I'm giving 4 stars and I'm gladly would come back. =D read more

The food is decent for what it is but the hostess seated a large and very loud group extremely close to our party of two so needless to say our lunch conversation was non existent. We amused ourselves by looking at the two flies that were buzzing around our food. We asked for the manager who was totally inefficient in addressing our complaints, making excuses for the hostess and telling she would call pest control (?) to address the flies. Basically since our meal was almost over, she said it was our fault that she couldn't help us because we didn't let her know earlier about the problem. Can't believe they pay her to manage the restaurant! What happened to customer service? We told her we would not return and she didn't seem too bothered by that. I guess she figures she has enough customers who like flies. read more

Terrible service. First, we were told a 30 minute wait and it ended up being almost an hour. Our server never came by to ask how our meal was or if we wanted refills of our drinks, which were empty. We never got one of the items we ordered, so we asked two different waiters and they said it would be right out. It never came. Spoke to the manager after who said that "we should have let her know in the moment so she could have done something about it." If anyone had come by, or if we saw the manager during the meal, we wouldn't have had the problem in the first place! read more

Been going to red lobster my whole life so this place is special to me. Jillian was our waitress and she was amazing, super patient and helpful with our pickiness. We were complicated with some items but she never made us feel like a burden for it. Food was also perfectly spaced out, a great experience. read more

I had not been to a Red Lobster in 3+ years, but I had a gift card so my wife and I figured what the hell. We decided on Brea as this location is nicer than the one in Garbage Grove. So coming here I was obviously wasn't expecting a 5 star meal but I walked out with a little hope for this place as the food is not to bad and neither is the prices. I mean face the shrimp and crab are on the small side but still they do a decent job on flavor. I recommend the potato encrusted shrimp. Those were my favorite out of the trio of shrimp. My wife grabbed a crab and shrimp combo and she said it wasn't bad. Of curse the biscuits here are on point. I think its the reason people still come here. Wish there beer selection was a little broader but hey what ever you can still grab a cold one with some decent food....it is what it is....CHEERS!!! read more

Placed a 1 star review only because I can't place a 0 star . My husband got a gift card for his birthday to Red Lobster we were excited because it was our first time & everyone talked so good about it. Little did we knew what we were get ourselves into. Honestly, we should just have given the gift card away worst customer service by Yvonne. The food was good but expected quality food with quality service or at least a simple smile. We got a grouchy server for a great Sunday morning. While taking our order she mentioned it was an old people restaurant like the folks beside us (which is super disrespectful & plus I'm young ) so what am I going to expect from this restaurant that I can't go? I received dirty utensils and ended up using a knife to stir my coffee. Yes, I got coffee! She even made a comment about it too. When I asked to get a coffee she asked me the question twice if I really wanted a coffee. No shit! A coffee. Then she asked if I wanted a margarita and I told her no because I had to work & she said well one won't hurt. She even said that she went to the back to ask for my order after Jackie (super sweet server with a nice smile) came to bring me my order. Yvonne then said she screamed to the cooks about getting my order done & that she always ends up apologizing to the cooks with cases of beer to make them happy. Like really do I need to know this. No!! I honestly do not know why this server is still working with you guys. My husband went to the host to pay the bill because we obviously did not want to see Yvonne again but she declined to charge our gift card for our lunch, which I'm fine with because that's not her job. Finally, we saw Yvonne she got our gift card to charge and she asked us if the check was okay twice again. I definitely would not try to go back to Red Lobster again to experience that bad experience with Yvonne. If we do, hopefully we can get Jackie as our server. read more

Red Lobster - Seafood Near Me - Brea, California

not too long of a wait, but after eating my fish filet stuffed with seafood AND my salmon AND the baked potato I didn't feel too good. I mean mostly cuz the food here is very rich. Oh yeah had clam chowder and the cheesy, garlic muffins too. Ok so I overate! But you would too if the food was so good. I guess I just can't handle the butter or something. Plus it was a rainy night and the temp kept alternating between freezing and too hot to breathe. I must've put on my jacket and taken it off 5 times during dinner. Just didn't feel like how I felt and how much I paid was worth it. Since I'm not a big lobster fan probably wouldn't put this chain on my top ten list. read more

This place was disgusting! The staff was pleasant and very friendly and I feel sad that they have to serve such nasty food

The kids really like Red Lobster, so occasionally I give in and dine here. I order the the Parmesan crusted tilapia. It is decent. Tilapia is a delicate fish that cannot handle too much seasoning. However, it is still a little bland. Of course, everyone loves the biscuits. The service here is slow. It takes a long time for the food to arrive. We waited twenty minutes for a cold pre-made salad. read more

My first and last time going to Red Lobster. My trip to Red Lobster started after I saw the commerical for pretty much an all you can eat endless shrimp deal. It seemed too good to be true for the price they were charging.. and it was too good to be true. The size of the shrimp were no bigger than my pinkie. You are mostly eating the fatty sauces not shrimp, so come here to get full... Just don't expect to get full on shrimp. read more

Red Lobster is one of those places that you never really CRAVE or put on your must try list but it's always a delicious and filling meal whenever you decide to go. The last time I came here was with my family and it was just a good memory, filled with too much food for 4 people to eat. We ordered way too much of that crack cheese bread because we got too hungry before our meals came out, and being the Asians that we are, we had to get the most bang for our buck. My favorite was the mussels/clams dish. Super flavorful though a tad on the salty side. The lobster bisque is meh. The tacos were good but nothing out of this world. The Brea location is clean with excellent service. read more

Visited this restaurant tonight and I can confidently say this has been one of the greatest, welcoming experiences I have had In a very long time. The management team was so accommodating to me and my family. My dad has been diagnosed w/stage 4 cancer and is in a wheel chair and on oxygen. That has made it hard for him to go out and be comfortable. When I had asked for a more secluded table to allow him a bit more space, the staff went above and beyond. Being able to have a great night out with him meant so much to me. The friendliness of the staff was so comforting. The food was fresh and super yummy, too! Our night and most importantly, my dad's night, was made! Thank yo for honestly making a difference in how his night turned out. I am so thankful. read more

Velia sucked. No refills, left on break, we think, without telling her tables and everyone in her section sat for about 20 mins waiting. It is sad that one bad experience can ruin it but We won't be coming back. read more

The Brea Red Lobster restaurant is the worst restaurant experience we have had! First off it does not take reservations it takes priority seating. We had priority seating and was still told it would be an hour. We waited and then tried to get a drink in the bar and was told we couldn't sit there because it was for dining guests! We asked how much longer and we were told there we're still 6 people in front of us and it would be another half an hour at least! They had 8 to 10 empty clean tables we could see right there! When we asked about those she said well the servers aren't ready yet I guess. Seriously a badly run place! read more

Had Fantastic service from our waiter James. He Rocked Ordered the Fish & "famous" parmesian chips, well the fish was ok as it was very lightly breaded which I liked but really had no flavor. The "famous" chips were kettle chips sprinkled with parmesian cheese and they were nasty. I gave three stars for the great service and the delicious cheesy bisquits read more

I haven't been back to this place in over 20 years. We used to dine here often when I was younger. Now with so many seafood restaurants available from the casual (Boiling Crab) to high-end (McCormick and Schmick) and many other trendy places, Red Lobster seems so outdated. Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience when the GF suggested that we eat here. We were seated quickly. The place was relatively full on a Thursday Night. The waitress was polite. The biscuits were pretty tasty. I had the 4-items deal where you get soup, salad, entree and dessert. I had Clam Chowder (buttery), Caesar (fresh and not drowned with dressings), Salmon (soft and tasty) and brownie a la mode for $18.00. That was not bad at all. Was it amazing? No. Was the dining experience spectacular? No. Was it exactly what I had hoped it would be? Yes. read more

Highly recommend coming here for dinner. They had an amazing deal for dinner, the food was delicious and tasted fresh. We came in around 7:30 and we were served by the amazing David. I really recommend getting him as a server. read more

Julia Julia Julia! She was awesome! Professional, fun spirit, knowledgeable and easy going. They were jam packed and she handled it well making our experience awesome! I hadn't been to red lobster in probably 20yrs! This location is great! If you love a warm cozy setting with booths, this is your place! Ask for Julia and you won't be disappointed! Even the cute little blonde hostess was awesome ! Friendly, big smile! Great experience! Btw, the endless shrimp is bomb! Now don't think you're getting these jumbo size shrimps..but they are very flavorful! Try the Asian ginger shrimp and the Parmesan scampi..add a squeeze of lemon! Yum! read more

went for the friday fish fry... dont waste your money or time... worst food ever!! gross, nasty, disgusting!! it was so greasy you could see the old dirty dirty grease floating on the everything! for the $19.99 they charge for fish & fry's i could have gone to mcdonalds for better food than this garbage they served!! will not eat here ever again!! i advise you to stay away, dont waste your money read more

I can think of nothing good to say... The fries were underdone, shrimp was overdone. Lobster was bland. Cheddar Bay Biscuits are not the same as they were last time I ate at Red Lobster. There was no discernible cheddar, the last bite I took of it had a ton of garlic salt on it. Service also sucked. The waiter never came around to refill our drinks, and the whole time we were there the staff was running around cleaning up everything, vacuuming, etc. read more

First off, if you order the Lobster Bake, make sure you have the lobster. Like the other reviewer on here, we also were initially shorted our lobster in the lobster bake. Not sure if this is a break down in the process they use in the line, or if this is a low profit item and someone in management has decided to leave it off and hope no one complains. That said, a quick comment to our server got us the split lobster tail that was supposed to be on the plate in just a couple minutes. Other than that, we were very happy. I know it is cool to hate on chain restaurants, but we were very satisfied with the food and service. It was exactly what we expected, decent low priced American style seafood. One thing to note, Red Lobster goes really heavy on certain flavors. The good news is that you never have to worry about a bland dish, the bad news is the salt, garlic, butter, or cream (pasta sauces) is going to be really strong. I'm fine with this, but I could easily see people not liking it. Quick Summary: We came Sunday night at peak dinner time. There was a big crowd out front, however we were seated really quickly. They told us a 10 min wait, but we had barely sat down before they called us in. The restaurant itself is clean and visually appealing, although our seats could use some reupholstery. Service was quick, everyone we dealt with was friendly, and the food was cooked right and tasted good. read more

Really a 2 1/2 stars. Went on a Monday night, so it was pretty slow. The good thing is no waiting. We got right in and ordered cocktails. It took a while because somebody called in sick or something and I guess good bartenders are hard to find. Also, dirty tables all around, so I guess the same goes for busboys. Service was a little spotty, but not too bad. We both had fresh fish. It was pretty good (after minor mess up with the order) The garlic biscuits were hot and yummy. Overall, it was very expensive (mainly because of the drinks), food was ok, and service not that great. read more

Excellent service! Went here with my 3 family members (who can sometimes ask a lot of questions/need extra assistance when it comes to ordering) and our server Megan was amazing! She was friendly, kind and very helpful; we didn't feel rushed to put pick something and she was patient and knowledgeable about all the questions she was asked. Our drinks were never empty and she kept the delicious biscuits coming! Even threw in a free brownie sundae when she found out my parents were celebrating their 37th wedding anniversary! Not usually a huge fan of red lobster but would definitely come back if Megan was my server! read more

So we're supporting the local restaurants? Please do not go to this Red Lobster unless you want you food cold over and undercooked and the Manager refusing to make it right. The service was fast and friendly. But the food just wasn't that good. I got a dish that came with scallops, shrimp, and sole. The shrimp were all white, the scallops were all tiny and stuck together to form a sheet of scallops, and the sole didn't have much flavor. I got veggies on the side: three pieces of broccoli is all I got. My plate looked barren, boring, with no color. Not worth the $17 I spent. I remember that Red Lobster was kind of a fancy place when I was a kid. I won't go back to this one anymore. read more

As far as mid price chain restaurants, Red Lobster has always been one of my most very favorite choices!!!! However, my visit today really disappointed!!! My boyfriend, daughter and I strolled in about 11:50am, ready for lunch, the entire time we were there, there wasn't more than ten tables filled: 1. OUT OF KING CRAB LEGS......seriously, you're a seafood restaurant...how do you run out of King crab legs? and at that early in the morning, you've only been open for 50 minutes. 2. Server dressed like a Chola gangster chick. Normally I would never concern myself with a persons fashion choices, I mean I am covered in tattoos and piercings, tho, I don't work in food service either. I just found her tacky and no joke....dirty. 3. Miss bandana on her head, tho friendly at the table.....HARDLY EVER CAME TO THE TABLE to check on us. We had to ask for butter with our snow crab legs...BUTTER is a staple when it comes to crab legs!!! Had to ask for napkins and refills on drinks....AFTER we spent 5-10 minutes trying to flag her down to come to our table in the first place. 4. (And this is what sent me here immediately to complain) Every time we were needing assistance we'd look over to the corner of the bar area and see up to 8....yes EIGHT, servers standing around chatting away like they were hanging at a social club. By the end of the meal I was sooooo sick of waiting for her to finish conversating with her coworkers, that I just got up and brought her our payment. I figure if she wasn't going to do her job, I might as well. She did not like this, as it clearly showed on her face, with a nasty look at me. My daughter even asked...."Mom, did you see the way she looked at you"? Anyway, I guess I will have to rethink my lunch choices. If you aren't going to have the food I want AND keep me waiting and waiting.....I'll take my money some place where they will treat me with respect and be polite and attentive. Maybe the Olive Garden....I mean, it is almost always right next door to any Red Lobster. read more

This location i would've gave 5 stars. But one server stood out! He is the rudest foul mouthed employee i have ever seen. Also standing around talking. He took forever to bring our food.
