I have never been treated so well at a major franchise restaurant. The customer service at this Red Lobster is excellent! My husband and I chose to sit at the bar and I'm so happy we did. Nolan was our bar tender/server and he was very caring, provided excellent service and made sure everything was perfect. Fidel was another waiter that went above and beyond. The food was great, was served fast and hot. We ordered to go as well and that was packed with all the fixings and sent us home with some bread for our to go order. I was pleasantly surprised and will be dining here often. You guys have great quality staff that treat people like their name was on the building. Good job! read more

When I was in kindergarten I lived right up the street from this Red Lobster. Sometimes my Grandma would surprise me and drive up from San Clemente to pick me up from school and bring me here for popcorn shrimp. I loved those days! Fast forward 20 something years. I have not been to a Red Lobster since Grandma used to take me for my after school treats. I have been seeing all these commercials lately for Endless Shrimp for $15.99. Looked tasty...loads of shrimp bouncing all over my TV. I decided it was time to revisit my kindergarten stomping ground. Arrived around 7pm, was told there was a 35 minute wait. Ended up being seated within about 20 minutes. They were freakin packed! We had one main waitress, Candace, who did a fabulous job all evening. We also had two other people assisting us because they were so insanely busy. Five stars for the service!! We both decided to go with the Endless Shrimp. We started with Parmesan Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Hand Breaded Shrimp, and Sweet & Spicy Grilled Shrimp. Plates were brought out quickly. The shrimp were pretty small, definitely not as big and delicious looking as they are on TV. I preferred the Parmesan to the Garlic, and the Sweet & Spicy to the Breaded. The Sweet & Spicy had a nice grilled flavor and the sauce was really good. The Breaded were not as crispy as I would have liked, and the breading was pretty bland. The Parmesan were salty and cheesy and good, the Garlic were too buttery for me. Before we finished the first round, Candace was back and asked if we wanted to do a refill of shrimp. We decided on Coconut Shrimp and Shrimp Linguine Alfredo. Within another 10 minutes those dishes were brought out to us. The Coconut was good, kind of spicy, and served with a pineapple cream sauce. I liked those a lot. The Linguine Alfredo was pure garlic flavor. If you aren't a fan of super pungent garlic, I recommend staying away from this one. The shrimp in the pasta were super tiny and were definitely over powered by the garlic sauce. We were done after that. There was no way we could eat more shrimp. For $15.99 I think it was a decent deal. I wish the shrimp had been bigger, but they got the job done. I think i'll leave this place a fond childhood memory for now. I'm not against coming back, but it definitely wouldn't be a first choice next time I want some shrimp. read more

I like Red Lobster a lot, it has been one of my favorite neighborhood seafood restaurants over the years. they have classic seafood menu, I like fresh fish, king crab or snow crab legs, live main lobsters, steamed clams and lobster pizza. My favorite dish is ultimate feast, it comes with crab legs, lobster tail and shrimps, it's more than enough for one person! They have promotional menu from time to time, right now is crab feast, they have crab entrees under $20, its very good deal. Portions are big too! great local eatery to have some fresh seafood. :) read more

Upon entry, Lizabeth, no empathy, super rude. I expect way more out of an established restaurant like this.

Our waiter David was great; answering questions and bringing anything we needed. The feast we had was a good value. The restaurant was enjoyably quiet enough for conversation. read more

I've only ever come to eat at a Red Lobster for their all you can eat special, Endless Shrimp. My two favorite flavors are the garlic scampi and wood fire grilled. The shrimp they use are pretty small, smaller than the usual cocktail shrimp so don't expect something that you would get at a Vegas buffet. The first round of Endless Shrimp comes with a salad and a couple of sides. For some reason their string beans and rice pilaf always tastes a bit off. I still can't put a finger on it. Their cheddar bay biscuits are pretty tasty, but eating them will definitely cut into the number of shrimp that you'll be eating. Service is usually pretty good at this location. The waitstaff have always been friendly and quick. The parking lot is pretty huge and located in the Brea Mall parking lot, so finding a parking space should never be a problem. read more

We were excited to enjoy a late night meal. We were told 25 minutes and we'll it took 35 minutes. Not a problem. We were ready to order when seated. Our meal came in a timely manner but my wife's plate slid off the plate and onto the table. My plate was flipped over onto the table right in front of me. Luckily my daughters plate was unharmed. Unfortunately our meal took another 25 minutes. By this time we lost our appetite and only had a few bites and asked for a to go box. The server apologized for the inconvenience and sorry to say no manager bothered to come and apologize or even offer desert for the wait and for the mishaps. Hopefully this doesn't happen to any future customers at the Brea Red Lobster. read more

Dust on Vents and counters Service was okay the food was okay May come back may not come back

The food is great once we were served. We had the all you can eat shrimp which we enjoyed. The service was rough. It took 50 minutes to get our biscuits and over an hour for our food to come. We had to ask 2 times for a forgotten baked potato. The salads came out with the food. Maybe this is a normal pace at this restaurant? The ambiance of the place is nice. I don't think it should take an hour to get our food after being seated. read more

Good seafood for a chain restaurant. I love their biscuits! This place can get very busy but they are well organized and the service is very good. Their prices are higher than other chain restaurants but it is seafood - lobster and crab and shellfish which are all more expensive than hamburger. Again, did I say that I love their free biscuits! Overall a great place to visit after shopping at the Brea Mall. read more

I know Red Lobster has good food. That is why I giving 2 stars. But I Am very disappointed in their customer service. They would not serve us! My husband and I were looking forward to eatting there without our kids. We came in on Saturday night at 8:30 one hour before they close. The host said they could not serve us before closing because they had 2 groups of 10 waiting. We would not be set. What! The restaurant was practically empty. There was no people standing outside either. I stood there in shock. So you are basically closed an hour early on a SATURDAY night. It is just the 2 of us. Well we went across the street at Lazy Dog that had a very busy energy inside out. They were still following safety guidelines. Wow! I guess we will find another location to feed our cravings. Not good for a chain that is loosing business! read more

Service was great! Brandon our server was amazing. The meal was great & the manager was awesome.

This was our first Red Lobster experience in a few years & it did not disappoint. We sat at the bar & received amazing service from Philip. He was friendly & made the best recommendations. Our meal was paced perfectly & everything came out delicious. We had our reservations about Red Lobster because of their increasing prices but the quality of the food & spot on service made it worth it. We will be back just to visit Philip again. read more

Wow, it's amazing how people can LIE to get what they want! But, I'm not shocked, or amazed! This has been going on for centuries. First of all, I ordered the shrimp pasta, patriot shrimps, fries, and Caesar salad. The pasta, shrimps, and fries were in the same container. I explained to the first manager that, I'm a regular there, and this is unacceptable. The pasta looked a day old, and everything was cold. Upon arriving, I had just ordered the food 20 mins before I arrived. I could barely understand this manager, so I ask for the fat overweight manager. He came out with a horrible attitude. I told him about the first manager, and he said " please don't talk about my manager." However, I continued complaining, and the fat manager said , I will refund your money back, and you don't have to come back."He refunded my money back and said you don't have to yell. Today the Corporate office called, and said that both manager's, and an employee said that I used profanity. Secondly, it was never no reason for me to use profanity because my money was being refunded, and everyone knows what these cooks do to your food when they remake it, so, I was definitely kool with getting my money. Lastly, I see why the reviews and the ratings are LOW at this particular Red Lobster. It's extremely sad that people LIE to get what they want in life. I will definitely pray for all these individuals that took place in this LIE. This location need better management, and definitely training. read more

I don't come here for the lobsters, I come for the cheddar bay biscuits!! I ordered via Yelp pickup (which they use grubhub), and it was pretty true to time. June 29, 2018 Hey Tony! Awesome service. Went for my belated birthday celebration after 4:30pm and the place was EMPTY! Such an awesome feeling. We sat near the bar left of the restrooms. Luckily the traffic flow was light to none. Came ready to EAT! Ordered the cold shrimp and lobster roll: No flavor. Tony warned us it was small but we went for it. Lobster & spinach dip: meh. Lacking substance & flavor. Tasted like Alfredo sauce. Dragon shrimp with corn: the spice was REAL and paired well with the rice. Would order again. Strawberry lobster margarita: nice size for the price $10.99 buuuut didn't have enough liquor. I'm a mega light weight and didn't feel a thing. Biscuits were a bit dry. Overall, good experience . Nice, clean , and quiet atmosphere. By far my fave location. read more

The Customer Service in this restaurant is horrible, we would not believe it can be such a thing. On the way out from the restaurant, spending there 70$ at the bar and 200$ for the Friday family dinner my husband went to the restroom, opened the door and inside men's restrooms The girl who was the hostess was talking on the phone and she said that she is cleaning the restroom and that my husband need to get out! So he did and he was waiting and waiting but the girl still was talking on the phone, was not leaving, was not cleaning, just was leaving my husband to "twist in the wind". read more

Terrible service and people. I will not come back to this red lobster again. I was greeted terribly and my experience and food was WORSE.

The worst service. 1. only 5 tables available, 45 minute wait - You can't think outside the box with that huge parking lot??? 2. fine, we'll wait - "Sorry, we can't sell you a beer while you wait." What in the world??? Get it together.... read more

We visited the Industry/Puente Hills location because our granddaughter loves seafood and wanted to try Red Lobster for the first time. To be honest, I never considered this establishment as a viable option for quality seafood I guess mainly because it's a chain/franchise etc. However, my mistake because it was surprisingly very good and tasty, as well as a great value for the quantity and quality of seafood. The location was clean and inviting and service(once we got past the initial & seemingly confused reception process with a minor delay) was very attentive. I never thought I'd say it, but I'm a fan of Red Lobster and I'm sorry for stereotyping this establishment. Very impressive! I will be looking forward to my next visit! read more

I have always eaten at red lobster in Brea just did a order to go the order was wrong did not get what I paid for. My bill was $53.08 for lunch at that price you would hope that you would get it right. Call the manager to ask if he could just give me a credit so I can come back and get the salad and soup. He had an attitude with me and then made excuses. So I said good bye and hang up. If this manager worked for me he wouldn't have a job very long. I called at 4:15 My check # was #505987 read more

(edited 6/26/2020) so as you can see Red Lobster replied to my review asking me to reach out to them via their website and gave me a code to enter so they can track this issue. I did so immediately. Now here we are 3 days later and they've gone silent. Was their comment just to make a public image of caring? I guess I need to lower my rating down to 1 star. :-( ---Original review 6/22/2020--- We ordered a meal to go. It was both of ours first visit to Red Lobster in many years. Sadly our experience will not make us want to rush back. On my dinner, the salmon was cooked fine, but the skin was burnt to a cinder. The popcorn shrimp I ordered was severely over cooked. Our other meal consisted of 2 lobster tails and a lobster pasta. One of the lobster tails was so over cooked it was like chewing rubber. The final insult was when we got our cheddar biscuits and noticed that they are half the size they used to be. Very sad. When you spend about $75 for a meal, you should at least expect it to be cooked properly. read more

The first time I tried Red Lobster, I ordered the seafood shrimp trio and it was less than stellar. The pasta sauce was salty and had an overly creamy consistency. The breaded shrimp and the garlic shrimp scampi were adequate tasting, but overall the entrée was not worth the $18 fee. However, their frozen specialties drinks are fantastic, especially their berry mango daiquiri! They are better than the food itself, which is what I would mainly come back here for if I ever decide to return in the future. read more

I ordered the Lobster Alfredo via Uber eats. Since I ordered this for my sister, I cannot comment on the food. It looked and smelled good, but I cannot attest to how it tastes. However I can comment on my experience at the restaurant when I went to pick up my order. As I drove up, I noticed a whole row of "curbside pickup" parking and at each parking spot was a sign that told you the phone # to call for curbside pick up. I called that number and was told that I would have to come inside to get my food. What is the point of curbside pick up then?? read more

Man, it is always disappointing when staff and management change at one of your favorite locations and it is not for the better. Came here last night for a birthday dinner and had advised the hostess at check in. A few minutes later we were shown our booth. After sitting several minutes we started wondering if we should just leave and go somewhere else as nobody came to take a drink order. The waitress that was working the tables was too busy chatting up the old men and telling them her life story and all about her boyfriend and other nonsense. She finally decides her self imposed break was over and hastily takes our order. The food comes and my order is wrong. Then the waitress disappears before we can ask for things like straws, napkins, lemon, butter, etc. I lost count of how many times I had to get up and walk into the kitchen to get what our table needed. The few times the waitress would appear and I was able to make a request, she would forget to bring it. Was only able to get one refill and much of the order was cold by time we were able to find help. To top it off, every other table seemed to have birthday guests but no acknowledgement at our table. What a BUST! read more

Ordered food to be delivered by door dash. The food was fine however they did not include my whole order. I'm missing my Ceasar side salad.

Got the endless shrimp $20 special and the food was delicious and fresh. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and not loud or chaotic. Fidel was extremely attentive and polite. Not many servers these days have great hospitality so I feel his service deserves to be acknowledged. I definitely would recommend for a casual and comfortable place to eat. read more

We went on a Friday night without reservation. The wait was long so we decided to just sit at the bar. Both of the bartenders were super friendly and attentive. They answered our questions related to the menu, and checked in with us many times during the whole dinner. My husband ordered the crab dish, I had the endless shrimp, and our son ordered popcorn shrimp from the kid's menu. Price was reasonable and food was decent. Service was superb! read more

I had a free reward for a dessert so I thought I could do I quick curbside pick up on my way home, boy was I TOTALLY WRONG. I got to my curbside pickup spot and called the number on the sign to alert the restaurant I was here. They said alright and then I waited 15 minutes and I had to call them again. The second time it was the same person that answered the phone. I told them all I ordered was a piece of chocolate cake. They said oh my gosh and I'll let my manager know. Another 15 minutes go by and still no order let alone contact from an employee about my order. I triple checked my order just incase I messed up anything but I didn't so I finally went down to the restaurant. I talked to the host which I think was the same person I talked to on the phone and he said I'll bring the manager. The manager came with my order and proceeded to tell me it was my fault because the ticket said pickup only. (After I came home I actually read the ticket and it indeed say CURBSIDE PICKUP) . Then she had the audacity to tell me if i still wanted the item that I had waited 30 minutes for. She said well you have to let us know your here. I told her I called the restaurant twice and talked to someone. She did nothing to rectify this situation and mad me feel like it was my fault. This was a horrible experience. Red Lobster is a luxury in my family since it is expensive so it is a treat for us to eat here. I was excited to use this reward but this was the worst pickup experience I have ever had. Horrible management equals horrible employees/service. read more
