Feast of flavors
Phil E.

In the mood for some sea food... Hadn't been to the RL for a while. Had the Admiral feast - this came with a salad and those horribly fantastic biscuits. The feast was large and more than enough (probably to share) but I powered through. Also polished off the vanilla bean cheese cake.. My only "problems" (with the food/etc.) 1) Price (damn that high) 2) lobster tail (seemed pretty tiny) Food was very tasty I will return

Great service and great food. We had no wait on a Friday night and we decided to do the unlimited shrimps. They had great options and we tried all 4 of them. Shrimp linguine, garlic shrimp, teriyaki shrimp and bread shrimp. My personal favorites is teriyaki shrimp because they are light and easy to conquer. They had a great teriyaki flavors. I had over 40 shrimps lol...and our waitress was very delightful to keep serving us more shrimp!

After finding a few places closed on a Monday evening we ended up here, and I'm glad we did because it was an enjoyable meal. I havent been to a Red Lobster is probably 10 years but I've never forgotten how amazing their cheddar bay biscuits are. We were seated right away and our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. We ordered the white wine and garlic mussels which was good, perfect for sopping up with bread - not poorly seasoned but could use just a tad more. We ordered the lobster tacos, lobster mashed potato, and the ultimate feast. Over all food was enjoyable. The shrimp scampi was oily but still pretty good. The tacos were good and so was the mashed potato. I was stuck between a 3 and 4 rating so i'd say it was a 3.5 and i rounded up.

This wasn't my first trip here, but I'd never written a review. So here we go... My wife and I went about 5pm on Thursday and were seated immediately. They have a descent special right now where 2 can dine for $29.99. It's a 3-course meal that includes 2 salads, biscuits (ohhhhhh the biscuits), 2 dinner entrees and choice of either an appetizer or dessert. I wasn't crazy about the entree options, so we didn't try this tonight. What we did order was delicious! I had the Admiral's Feast that consisted of Walt's Favorite (breaded & butterflied) Shrimp, bay scallops (fried), clam strips (fried) and flounder fried to a golden brown. I had a Ceasar Salad that had way too many lettuce spines and not enough leafy greens for my taste. Also threw in mashed potatoes that were 'Meh'. This ran me $16.99. My wife chose the Peach-Bourbon BBQ Shrimp and Scallops (minus the Scallops since they came bacon wrapped and she's eating more vegetarian these days). Anyway, the BBQ Shrimp were skewered, wood-grilled jumbo shrimp glazed with a sweet peach-bourbon BBQ sauce, served over crispy onion rings. I was lucky enough to get one bite of this and it was AWESOME! I highly recommend it!! Think it was around $15.99. We both had water and even with our $4.00 off coupon, the meal cost around $31 (minus tip). Red Lobster is always a pricey decision, but if you want seafood in my immediate area, this is the closest thing going. The wait staff were mostly college students and were very friendly. Despite my 2 year old's attempts to run in front of them (what can I say, he got bored), they politely dodged him and were sweet to him. By the time we left, it was getting very busy (still no wait, but all tables appeared full). This was just after 6pm. I know the weekends usually have a wait starting around 6pm, so come early! Overall, we were pleased with this visit. The place appears clean and it's a pleasant experience. We'll be back.

Our late night visit to Epiphany Farms/Anju was exceptional! A huge drink menu welcome us and we…read morehad the Beyond jalapeño cornbread for a starter, which proved to be quite yummy and not hot at all. We decided to go with the rustic pizzas that were delicious and unusual: harmony, Korean, chicken and loaded supreme. The crust tasted like it was from a woodfired oven and the Korean chicken pizza was so unusual and tasty with kimchi and pickled shiitake. The fresh from the forest mushroom side dish they gave us a special treat to us was quite a delicacy. Even the farm to table items they have for sale when you walk in to take home are a treat, Especially the homemade marshmallows! Ended with dessert of a fresh orange olive oil cake with just tremendous flavor and blood orange on the side and orange marmalade on the cake. It served exquisitely with a side of homemade ice cream that was to die for. We can't wait to come back! Our waitress, Lupe, treated us like family and was incredibly personal and warm. Put this on your must visit List.

There's a lot to like about Epiphany Farms. The menu is interesting New American farm-to-table. You…read morecan get Asian cuisine, pizza, steaks, chicken, seafood. We started with the sashimi plate. The fish was fresh- including tuna, salmon, shrimp- placed over small celery bites. A variety of sauces were dotted around the plate's edge. The dish would have benefited from some ginger and more sauce. Our entrees included Pork Coppa Ramen- which was a solid dish- strong beef broth flavor and the sambal (chili sauce) -a few cents extra- added a good depth of flavor. The fish bowl- tuna, salmon- with rice, pickled veggies, and gim (Korean seaweed) was tasty. It was even tasty the next day cold out of the fridge. Our server Jack did a nice job- we sampled their roasted carrots- and they were actually our favorite bite. We also had the potato graten and they were tasty- but could have been easily skipped with our Asian dinner vibe. The restaurant has a great eclectic historical vibe and was busy on a Friday night, but still felt spacious. The drink menu is a good selection- we enjoyed wine with dinner (a solid Pinot noir). I would definitely go back to have the pizza- which looked delicious at a couple of the neighboring tables. This is a great date night venue or girls night out.

The potatoes were also pretty solid. The flavored tea was nice, it just needed a bit of sugar. Our waitress was super friendly and made the experience even better. She was enthusiastic and enjoyed sharing her favorite menu items, which I appreciated. The ambiance was very welcoming, and I liked how open the space felt. The only downside was that the host who seated us seemed a little short when asking if we had reservations, especially when I asked if they were required.

First time and man, did not disappoint…read more Everything was amazing and it was hard to pick what to eat! Got a flight- moon jumper (smoky), black angel (a little on the burnt side), blackberry gose, pumpkin porter (spicy but not fake pumpkin flavor spicy). Beer battered asparagus for the appetizer- delicious! Crunchy which was great! Husband and I split a bacon pickle pizza (omg!!) and spicy chicken sandwich with wedges (huge, thick potato slices). Definitely recommend the pizza, so flavorful! Spicy chicken was both hot and spicy from the jalapeños and sweet from the sauce. Madysen was our server and was amazing and attentive! If it wasn't 2.5 hours away we'd be regulars! Lots of parking available.

So we've been coming here since it opened and in fact had been to its predecessor in St. Louis…read morebefore that. We're pretty familiar with what they used to, and are trying, to be and while we have come to expect lofty goals, it seems like the longer in the tooth this place gets, the more they lose focus. Our most recent Valentines visit reinforced this with some disappointing bar service and a 'special featured' appetizer that took our disappointment to the next level. I get that on a busy night like Valentines, stuff happens, but in this case it was still relatively early (5:30 pm) and they had more than enough employees, it's just that those workers constantly stepped on each other, ignored customers for lengthy stretches, and missed a few details that used to come naturally at this place. Combine that with food delivery confusion and a complete fail on the supposed special feature of "sealed scallops with risotto" app and it left us feeling unfulfilled on what should have been a romantic visit. The next time they offer the scallop app, we strongly suggest they actually do more than wave one side of the scallop over a lukewarm-warm pan (nothing that resembles a 'sear') and figure a way to cut the greasiness of the garlic rice dollops without covering everything in pea tendrils such that you don't notice the lack of sear marks and oily pooling. We give the place three stars based on the still modern and comfortable decor, nice ambiance, robust cocktail & beer selection and the execution of the Tuna Tartare - still one of the lady's favorite bites in town. Perhaps it's just a management/training issue, but it touches both the kitchen and the floor and will hopefully be addressed before our next visit.
