Food was okay. The Fish & chips, the fish was soggy(ish). The REV burger wasn't anything special. The bacon jam was delicious. Baked Brie was delicious. The bread was soft. Our waiter was attentive and polite. The gentleman was prompt with filling waters. The restaurant itself is well lit. The tables have enough space to not feel claustrophobic. They are spread out pretty decent. There's some dead space though which feels a little odd. I did feel that the noise level was a little loud.

My family and I had a late dinner on Saturday at Revery. The parking lot was very dark, in fact my wife sent me in to make sure it was open before she would leave the car. The inside of the restaurant was really nice, although the second door to the dining room feels a little strange. All of the staff we interacted with were really nice, however there was a terribly long delay that started with us getting seated and continued until we left. The delay on the service was just inexplicable. We got there at 7:50 and were told they could seat us in 15-20 mins. Half the tables looked to be empty but I can understand being delayed in the kitchen and with waitstaff so we sat and waited patiently. It took 25 mins before we were seated and we had to go in and ask them when they were going to seat us before they did so. No one spoke to us during the entire wait to let us know the status. When we finally did get seated, it felt like we just sat forever. Every part of dining experience felt incredibly slow. I waited a few days to put in my review so I could adjust my score from the two I wanted to give them on Saturday to the 4 I am giving them now. The food was pretty decent, I had the meatloaf which I enjoyed. The broccolini wasn't my favorite for preparation but that's my preference about lemon. I tried the Carmel apple martini which was like drinking the taste of fall, it was really good. I also shared some of the French bread with my son and I really enjoyed that a lot. Being as this is far from us and I didn't love my first experience, I don't see being back, but if you live in or near normal, I think this place is worth trying.

We were there for a special event on a Friday night and it was just lovely. The place is very classy. It has a black ceiling and is very dark inside which creates lots of ambiance. The food was delicious. I had the meatloaf and my partner had fish and fries. The place was plenty crowded and the food seemed to take a little bit to get out to us, which only gave us more time to visit.

It was a quite Thursday when we entered and were provided an opportunity to select our own spot in the main dining area. We picked a cozy booth and were lucky to learn 1/2 price bottles of wine! As the evening progressed things picked up and a lovely ambiance was created with the retro tunes, light conversation and delicious smells! Our food was fresh and fast and yummy. The apple bread pudding finished out our weekday dinner with a treat! Staff was very attentive and friendly. Will have to make this a weekday stop more often!

We didn't leave anything on our plates! The potatoes were a second helping!!

I had a great experience the last time I was here. My tip is to come early, they were out of a few items.

A perfect spot for celebrating a new job, leaving an old job, or just ushering in the weekend. We had reservations for 6:30 and were pleased to arrive to a bustling restaurant on a cold Friday night. Seated in the bar side near the fireplace, we had a lovely view of the room and enough privacy for personal conversation. He chose the special of the Shrimp Scampi and was pleased overall with the flavor and freshness of the shrimp. I opted for the meatloaf and broccoli. The meatloaf and sauce were tasty, the mashers a little on the bland side for me. Our appetizers of beets and poutine seemed like an odd match, but the horseradish/cream/cheese with the beets made them irresistible, and the pickled giardiniera on the poutine added a unique touch. Both were almost finished. We split dessert of a Thousand Hour Brownie and I had a peppermint martini that was perfectly festive for a January Friday. Derek was a great server, he was responsive but not intrusive, had a great smile and helped us feel welcome. We can't wait to come back.

I did not know this prior to making our trip to Bloomington and then navigating the fam bam all the way there only to be disheartened when I saw this. Given the parents were older and past their lunch time we decided to say what the hell and stop in! If you're thinking this DON'T! This place is pure garbage! I think the only moisture in from the entire set of food we got was from the condensation of the shitty water the waiter brought! I got the bacon burger and the thing was like jerky, literally one single piece of bacon broken in half was placed on the top! No flavor no moisture, there was supposed to be candied jalapeños on top, there was literally hold on let me count......2!!!!! I asked for a side order of them so actually make this a spicy jalapeño bacon burger and the waiter responds with, sorry we're slammed right now, and the cooks would have to make them. They were mildly busy, and if the cooks would have done their jobs correctly in the first place this wouldn't be my problem. The whole thing was a shit show from the time it took to order and pay to asking for extra jalapeños that they couldn't do! Skip this place if you have a palette, even the old folks we were with that enjoy things as sad as dried meatloaf were not impressed! That should clue you in, this place isn't there for good food, it's there for expensive convenience to prop up a sub par hotel!

We decided to go with the rustic pizzas that were delicious and unusual: harmony, Korean, chicken and loaded supreme. The crust tasted like it was from a woodfired oven and the Korean chicken pizza was so unusual and tasty with kimchi and pickled shiitake. The fresh from the forest mushroom side dish they gave us a special treat to us was quite a delicacy. Even the farm to table items they have for sale when you walk in to take home are a treat, Especially the homemade marshmallows! Ended with dessert of a fresh orange olive oil cake with just tremendous flavor and blood orange on the side and orange marmalade on the cake. It served exquisitely with a side of homemade ice cream that was to die for. We can't wait to come back! Our waitress, Lupe, treated us like family and was incredibly personal and warm. We started with the sashimi plate. The fish was fresh- including tuna, salmon, shrimp- placed over small celery bites. A variety of sauces were dotted around the plate's edge. The dish would have benefited from some ginger and more sauce. Our entrees included Pork Coppa Ramen- which was a solid dish- strong beef broth flavor and the sambal (chili sauce) -a few cents extra- added a good depth of flavor. The fish bowl- tuna, salmon- with rice, pickled veggies, and gim (Korean seaweed) was tasty. It was even tasty the next day cold out of the fridge. Our server Jack did a nice job- we sampled their roasted carrots- and they were actually our favorite bite. We also had the potato graten and they were tasty- but could have been easily skipped with our Asian dinner vibe. The restaurant has a great eclectic historical vibe and was busy on a Friday night, but still felt spacious. The drink menu is a good selection- we enjoyed wine with dinner (a solid Pinot noir). I would definitely go back to have the pizza- which looked delicious at a couple of the neighboring tables. This is a great date night venue or girls night out.

It was fine, though the cocktail sauce could have used a little more horseradish. The basket of warm bread and whipped butter was great. The filets were prepared as directed, but seemed dry, tough and flavorless. Disappointed. But worse was the Brussels sprouts (one of our favorites). The sprouts were hard, woefully undercooked and crunchy. Not in a good way. The flavor was lost in the rough texture. Very disappointed. The staff seemed a little flustered too. Brought a side a sautéed onions when we'd ordered mushrooms. Too bad, as we had enjoyed our pasta meals before and had expected a steakhouse to perform better.
