Sailor's Platter with Clam Strips substituted for the Shrimp Scampi
Richard Walton C.

I didn't realize Red Lobster had this location which I have been driving by for a very long time. I guess I pay too much attention to the traffic in front of me. The number of customers inside was light. No one was at the greeter station but I was spotted immediately by someone who showed me to a table right away. I knew what I wanted and found it on the menu before the server arrived. The only question was if I could substitute the Shrimp Scampi with Clam Strips on the Sailor's Platter. The platter also came with Popcorn Shrimp and Crispy Flounder. I didn't see the Clam Strips anywhere on the menu and was worried they didn't offer them anymore. My server told me she could get them for me. I told her it was the main reason I came there. I really like them. I also ordered a Side Salad as my side even though it was $1.99 extra. And I ended up only taking a half dozen bites to save room for my platter. It was a big salad and tasted great. The flounder was excellent! It was thin and crispy. I ate both fillets. When I was done there was still shrimp and clams on the plate because they brought out so much of them. I didn't order dessert as I was too full. I didn't use the restroom so I can't speak to its cleanliness. Parking was awesome since nobody was there and I got a spot right by the front door.

Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Walt's Favorite Shrimp, baked potato

I come to this location a couple times a year. Have always had decent service and usually no wait, though I don't think I often eat at peak dinner time. I am always a fan of the shrimp linguine alfredo--it's a bit greasy, but comfort food! The coconut shrimp are good, too, and come with a creamy pineapple dipping sauce. They also have a wide variety of fruity cocktails.

This is based on a delivered order. I just don't think it's a good idea to get crab legs delivered. They never have the same appeal as eating at the restaurant. I ordered the garlic cajun butter crab legs. They had the sauce in a separate container. This is liquid butter so of course it's messy and it's getting thru the packaging. Half the crab was empty. I had many pieces that hardly had any meat in them. It's crab fest so doesnt that mean they are "in season" or whatever lol. I also wish you could sub the potatoes that come with the legs for something diff. I absolutely don't like those potatoes. I prefer a baked potato or even mashed. I don't think I'll be ordering to go crab legs anymore.

Hush puppies

We over heard the manager bribing people with a free dessert for a good Google review. Maybe they need to do this to make up for the over priced food? The food is way over priced for the amount you get. Look at these hush puppies. The store looked very clean though

Live Maine Lobster

We get there on a Friday night at 6pm and there were very few people in the restaurant. We waited a minutes for the server to come over to start with drinks. I can't blame her as she was in the middle of something. We started with the calamari. Well it was definitely frozen and beyond chewy. Then the Cesar salad came out. It was drenched with dressing and too much. Finally I had ordered the live Maine lobster. As I cracked it open a bunch of water came pouring out. It was clearly boiled (meat texture gave that away). There was no flavor to it and the meat was slimy. In total it came to $70. This will be the last time I go to a red lobster. Not worth the money. P.S the server was extremely friendly and was not her fault.

Food was okay but somewhat salty. The service was delayed but they are often extremely busy with limited staff. The dining area is a calming, with nice spacious booths.

7oz peppercorn-seasoned sirloin, a wild-caught lobster tail, loaded baked potato, and french fries and ketchup.

What can I say? Good quality for the price. I know, Steak and Lobster tail may not look the best to some with a loaded baked potato and fries on the same plate. However, those are the only sides I cared for at the time. My spouse and I went to RL for the Wednesday Special of Steak and Lobster. It's a wild caught lobster tail and a 7oz peppercorn-seasoned sirloin with 2 sides for $20.99. Our server was knowledgeable and she even recommended a "Lobster Punch" drink they stopped advertising the night before. If you're looking for somewhere easy to get seafood and not pay too much this is the place for you.

Asian shrimp pasta

A friend and I went a few months ago and our waitress so so so so kind! I wish I could remember her name. It had been several years since I had been to a RL but it did not disappoint. The cheddar biscuits melted in my mouth and the Asian shrimp pasta was so delish.

Back to the sir fry. So, you get a bowl and load it up with noddles or rice, then your choice of proteins, vegetables, and sauces. After you got it just the way you want it, you drop it off for them to grill. They move pretty quick. I got my entre in less than 8 minutes. It was really good and reasonably priced. This restaurant is a nice change of pace from fast food for me. I wish I made it here more often. The food is really good and I get to put my creativity to the test while I am here. To be honest I wasn't very hopeful. I went in dinner hours. Small with a few tables. They had a few door dash orders to go. My order was ready very quick. I saw there was 2 containers for sauce. One was the Katsu and the other Teriyaki. I got one of each to go. Got home, opened it up, smelled amazing, looked amazing. I had taken a bite of the macaroni salad, the chicken with the katsu sauce and rice together. Under the chicken was fresh broccoli and cabbage. It was absolutely delicious. Fresh, hot, the rice and chicken was perfect and moist. For $13.07 total I will definitely be back. I got 2 meals out of this plate.

I have ordered delivery from here and ate inside once. I like their BBQ chicken and katsu. They are both good and reasonably priced in my opinion. The seating inside is limited, and not exactly a "cozy" space. When I got there, there was a self-order screen which was easy to use. I had a little cash on me and saw a tip jar on the counter, so when I paid for my order with my credit card, I hit the Skip button for the tips. However, the receipt showed that they still charged 15% tip on my card. This had never happened to me before at any business. I do not know what kind of error it was, but I perceived it as deceitful and sneaky. However, when I brought it to the staff's attention, he corrected the amount right away which I appreciated. I also saw someone else's review mentioning the same thing. I hope they will fix the issue. That said, I still like their food and I thank them for bringing more variety to the area.

We sat on the patio, and although the shades were closed earlier in the day, they opened them later once the weather warmed up, which made the vibe even better. Our server was very nice and attentive, especially with our large group. We ordered a half mimosa tower, and I really enjoyed it. I also tried Rico's Coffee from the brunch menu, which was so good and paired perfectly with the brunch vibe. I ordered the French toast platter, which came with four pieces of French toast, scrambled eggs, brunch potatoes, and bacon. It was delicious and so filling that I had to get a to-go box. The yogurt parfait was also really good, and everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their food and drinks, including the Bloody Mary options and tea. We ordered liquid marijuana shots as a group and these were great. One thing to note: we brought a cake for our friend and didn't know there was a $25 outside cake fee, so be aware of that if you plan to bring your own dessert. After brunch, we walked around the beautiful grounds, and a few of us stayed longer on the patio. The high-top seating wasn't the most comfortable, but the drinks and appetizers made up for it. The whiskey sour was good, and we enjoyed the crab cakes, calamari, shrimp, and Rico's dip. This turned into an all-day affair with good food, drinks, beautiful weather, and great company. A really nice spot for brunch, celebrations, and patio time.

Day of, the staff called to confirm numbers and where we'd like to sit. Check in was easy, but our seating request hadn't been transferred over, no big deal thankfully. Our waitress was super friendly, and kept well organized. She automatically provided separate checks without even asking. I ordered the roll basket and bacon jam burger. The rolls were fine, but nothing special. The bacon jam burger was super delicious. Overflowing with bacon. My only complaint is I ordered it medium and it came out more medium well to well done. We all agreed we enjoyed our experience and would have to come back again.
